According to the outlet, a source close to the situation claimed Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, would like Kim to spend an entire year in treatment to give herself the best possible chance at maintaining her sobriety. “He has zero judgment [about her legal problems], all he cares about is her getting better,” the insider claimed. “He has told her that she can stay in treatment for as long as it takes and he will cover it.” The source added that Eminem remains hopeful about Kim’s future, saying, “He is so hopeful. He says if she can do this, she can have the most wonderful life.” Of course, the reported offer comes amid a particularly difficult stretch for Kim, 51, who is facing multiple criminal cases in Michigan. Earlier this month, a judge revoked her bond after determining that she had left a court-ordered inpatient rehabilitation facility without authorization. Her attorney had argued that a magistrate had modified the terms of her release, but Judge William Hackel III rejected that position. On October 14, the judge reiterated that Kim could leave jail if she returned to inpatient treatment. While Kim’s legal troubles are ongoing, the reported offer from Eminem suggests that their complicated history has not erased his concern for her well-being. The former couple, who share daughter Hailie Jade Scott, 30, married twice before divorcing for the second time in 2006. Eminem also legally adopted Kim’s son Stevie, 24, as well as her sister’s daughter, Alaina, 33. The Fantasy Bra appeared — in its first incarnation — in 1996. German model Claudia Schiffer was the first to wear it. Its latest iteration was for the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. It was designed by Swarovski and boasted a whopping 21,000 diamonds. That year, Swedish-Finnish fashion model Elsa Hosk wore it. She’s not the first famous face to dazzle in diamonds like this The Fantasy Bra has come in many forms — and had many famous bearers. Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, and Adriana Lima are three of the most famous names to shoulder this glittering burden. Kylie’s version could buy and sell that one without worry. The professional dancer has been suspended from Dancing With the Stars for one week after posting a controversial message seemingly aimed at judge Carrie Ann Inaba. And while Val has since apologized, the show’s producers apparently aren’t ready to let this one slide. (Photo by Rachel Luna/FilmMagic) The drama began during the October 13 episode of DWTS, when Carrie Ann criticized a samba performed by Val’s wife, fellow professional dancer Jenna Johnson, and her celebrity partner, Harry Shum Jr. Carrie Ann questioned a lift included in the routine and even read the definition of a lift to explain her critique. Jenna later defended the choreography, explaining that she hadn’t realized two other dancers were lifting Harry during the performance. Val, meanwhile, was apparently not thrilled with the judge’s assessment. After initially defending Jenna online, Val escalated the situation with a TikTok post that read, “You almost saw Fresh Prince enter the ballroom last night.” Val was alluding to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars after the comedian made a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. In other words, Val’s attempt to defend his wife came across as suggesting he nearly resorted to violence against Carrie Ann for criticizing her dancing. Not exactly the most diplomatic response to a judge doing her job! Carrie Ann subsequently addressed the post, sharing a screenshot of a report about the controversy and asking, “So this is what we are doing now?” Val issued an apology on Instagram on October 15, acknowledging that he regretted the reference and had contacted Carrie Ann directly. “I should have never made the reference that I did, and I deeply regret it,” he wrote, also apologizing to everyone affected by his “careless post.” Unfortunately for Val, that apology apparently wasn’t enough to keep him in the ballroom. BBC Studios, which produces Dancing With the Stars, confirmed on October 17 that the dancer would sit out the following week’s episode. “The well-being of everyone who works on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is non-negotiable,” the company said in a statement. It added that Val’s post was “inappropriate and does not reflect the values or standards expected of anyone connected with the show.” Val subsequently addressed his suspension, reiterating that he had made a poor decision while trying to defend his wife. He also stressed that he didn’t want the controversy to distract from the competition or his celebrity partner, Jenna Dewan. With Val sidelined, Jenna will perform with professional dancer Alan Bersten during the show’s upcoming Dedication Night. As for Carrie Ann, she had not publicly commented on Val’s suspension as of the latest reports. Tweets attributed to him dating back to earlier dates — between 2009 and 2011 — are now resurfacing. One reads: “As a man, You have something wrong with you if your going for girls that weigh more then you.” Another reads: “Damn the clippers girls gotta be the s–tty girls that dont make the lakers girls team, cuz they all was ugly.” Even if one were to ignore the clumsy grammatical errors, these tweets are filled with body-shaming and misogyny. They are not the only tweets about “ugly girls” from this one account. (Image Credit: Twitter) On Saturday, October 17, a now-suspended account tweeted about these to Donna, Travis’ 74-year-old mother. “Not Travis’ handle,” she replied in a tweet, “and not his account!!” However, the “@tkelce” account does appear to be Travis’ — and there are even old replies in which Donna sent her love and well wishes while tagging that user handle. Multiple outlets, including The New York Times and Snopes, have reported on these old tweets. Many are seeing Travis in a new light. That is indisputable. But discussing them requires a level of nuance that many may find to be a struggle. In 2009 and 2010, social media was full of “ironically” bad takes. Especially in the early days of Twitter — many hoped to be provocateurs, and things like fake bigotry were seen as humorous. Also, this was 15 years ago. Travis would have been in his early 20s. Today, someone in their early 20s posting misogynistic vileness would be inexcusable. In a time when this form of humor was prevalent, however, we might view things differently. Finally, of course, people learn and grow and improve all of the time — especially over a decade and a half. Has Travis? Also in 2026, Travis and Taylor invited Brad Pitt to their wedding. Again, we do not believe in guilt by association, but yikes. Travis clearly has more learning and growing to do as a person. We hope that he works on that, but won’t hold our breath. Suffice it to say that, with the exception of rare extremes, we are not too concerned about tweets dating back to President Obama’s first term. In his upcoming memoir, I Only Shout So You Can Hear Me, the 54-year-old recounts how a childhood curiosity turned into a traumatic injury when he was just 6 years old. During the appearance, she awkwardly confused her husband with Trump, creating an uncomfortable moment that immediately drew scrutiny. Her performance also prompted questions about her professional credentials. Zacharia has described herself as a lawyer despite apparently never passing a bar exam in the United States. She does, however, hold a law degree. The controversy added another complication to an already rocky debut, leaving the new press secretary facing questions about both her performance and her background almost immediately after stepping into the role. And now, according to the latest reports, her time in the position has come to an abrupt end. White House press secretary turnover is hardly unprecedented. Dyna also revealed that she had spent the previous three months encouraging her son to seek professional help. “He was like, ‘No, I’ve got it. It’s OK. I’m handling it,’” she recalled. Disordered eating can take many forms. For her, it was food avoidance — skipping meals to feel more in control of her body and her life. “I would try to sleep in as late as I could, so I would not have to eat breakfast,” Jinger recalled, “and I’d try to make it through lunch and then try to not eat lunch.” Many people who skip meals do so by being in different environments, so that people at school believe that they are eating at home, and people at home believe that they are eating at school. Jinger is a homeschooling victim, so this was not an option for her. But, she said, the Duggars ate dinner together more often than other meals — so it was easier to go unnoticed. Ultimately, she knew that she needed help when, on a group trip, she saw someone struggling with bulimia. “She was literally sickly and she had so many health issues and she looked terrible because her body was withering away,” Jinger described. “She was in a terrible place.” She recalled: “Ultimately I was looking at her and I’m like, ‘Just stop doing that,’ as I’m over here doing the same thing in a different way.” Michelle to the rescue? Realizing that she needed help, Jinger turned to essentially the only resource that she had — her mother, Michelle. Astonishingly, Michele responded “with such grace and kindness,” Jinger described, sharing her own history with an eating disorder. “She said, ‘But good thing is you’re talking, you’re going to be fine,'” she recalled. Jinger shared: “I was so reassured knowing that because I said that, she was not like, ‘Oh my goodness, here’s three cheeseburgers, eat them all.’” (Three is not generally a lot of cheeseburgers, but can feel scary or even immoral to someone with disordered eating habits.) “She was like, ‘No, it’s OK. You can eat healthy food and be healthy,'” she went on. “But she also said, ‘You don’t need to avoid food because that’s gonna harm your body later.’” Jinger went on to detail how Michelle had helped her to keep a log of what she ate, and how recovery took years. Many might understandably express surprise that the infamous cultist seemed to respond in a healthy and affirming manner. But, sometimes, the key with these types is for them to personally relate to someone’s problem. That can, for some, be the only thing stopping them from pushing whatever the cult prescribes and leaving it at that. Disordered eating is common, but not often discussed, within the extreme fringes of American conservative Christianity, even outside of fundamentalist spaces. Cultists, especially women, have few to no healthy resources and live in a world where their appearances are both seen as the pathway to wrongdoing and a sign of virtue. But the meeting of Jax Guelli and Scott “Stew” Stewart might have delivered the show’s cringiest scene of all time. And now, Jax is opening up on her decision to bail on her fiance moments after meeting him. (Netflix) She admits she should have handled her sudden exit from Netflix’s dating experiment differently after leaving Stew without an explanation. But she also seems to have no regrets about her decision. The couple connected in the pods over their shared love of luxury and The Phantom of the Opera. Stew eventually proposed, and Jax accepted. Unfortunately, their romantic bubble burst almost immediately after they finally came face-to-face. Let’s just say their first meeting wasn’t exactly a fairytale moment. Jax repeatedly described the encounter as “so weird” and appeared uncomfortable as the couple attempted to navigate their newly engaged status. She even shot back against Stew’s claim that he looked like members of the Kennedy family and claimed instead that he resembled Mitt Romney. Romance was clearly not in the air. Stew, meanwhile, seemed convinced they’d found something special. He described the experience as overwhelmingly positive and said he believed Jax was everything he’d hoped for. Unfortunately, his fiancée wasn’t feeling quite so confident. By the following episode, Jax had decided she wanted to go home rather than continue the experiment or travel to Mexico with the other couples. Producers informed Stew that she had left and didn’t want to speak with him at that moment, leaving him without a proper explanation. The reality star later explained that her doubts had started before the couple even met. Jax was disappointed by Stew’s proposal, which she felt sounded like a “superficial checklist” rather than a heartfelt declaration specifically about her. She also claimed that Stew came across as “cocky” and “douchey” during their first meeting, making it difficult for her to reconcile the man in front of her with the person she’d connected with in the pods. Still, Jax insists that his looks weren’t the reason she walked away. “What I felt was real at that time,” she explained. “The good and unfortunately the bad was real too, and it had nothing to do with him or his looks. It was the moment, and it was way too much for me.” That’s fair enough. Getting engaged to someone you’ve never seen before is certainly an unusual way to start a relationship. After all, the entire premise of Love Is Blind involves making an enormous romantic decision under circumstances that most people will never experience. Zacharia has spent years pushing Pizzagate-style conspiracy theories and hyping up Trump on ultraconservative platforms. She is also blonde, monied, and has “Mar-a-Lago face” features. Adding that she is clearly woefully underqualified for the role, and it’s no surprise that Trump appointed her. But, for years, Zacharia has identified herself as a “lawyer” in an apparent effort to give herself unwarranted credibility. Was it all a lie? Zacharia does have a legal degree, but spent a couple of days dodging questions before finally admitting the truth: she never passed the bar exam. On Thursday, October 15, she admitted during an interview with white nationalist Jack Posibiec on the ironically named “Real America’s Voice” that she tried and failed the bar exam in 2011. According to Zacharia, she was distracted by planning her wedding. In addition to marrying Tyler Zacharia, she was also planning to move to Tyler. Zacharia insisted that it was “inconsequential” to have not passed the bar, as her new job would not require that particular qualification. It fell to longtime Trump ally and Fox News host Sean Hannity, of all people, to grill Zacharia during an interview later on Thursday. Zacharia smiled uncomfortably during the majority of the interview, even though it was mostly friendly and full of softballs and the usual vice signaling. She rattled on a lengthy and clearly nervous explanation of how she had failed the bar exam and moved to China. Zacharia confirmed to Hannity that she had not retaken the exam because she had begun having children. She is a mother of four. Hannity also brought up that Zacharia had described herself as an attorney — implying having passed the bar — rather than a lawyer. This is a rare piece of nuance, as most would treat these as synonyms. However, she said that these were retweets or reposts, not her own words. The hair-splitting continues. Some would say that this level of craven dishonesty is disqualifying in a Press Secretary. But … is it? Zacharia being thoroughly unqualified is arguably one of the most important qualities for serving in the Trump regime. It’s right up there with being white, being Christian, spreading conspiracy theories, and showing endless loyalty to Trump instead of to America. So Zacharia isn’t a good liar. Faris starred on the first seven of eight seasons, officially departing in 2020 to “pursue new opportunities.” Chuck Lorre was behind the show — and countless others, from The Big Bang Theory to Two And A Half Men and beyond. Some of his shows, like Cybill, were even good. In Sitcom, Lorre recalled: “I wasn’t sure Anna would be appropriate for this kind of material.” He continued: “Then I thought about how badly I’d bungled my working relationship with Charlie Sheen.” “Someone’s personal life is none of my business,” Lorre ended up concluding. “The mom in Mom would be, and should be, Anna Faris.” Then, he declared: “As the years went by, it became apparent that my initial reluctance to hire Anna was, in fact, correct. She is filming at least part of the project in Hoboken, New Jersey. In this highly anticipated sequel, Sweeney reprises the role of Millie, the titular housemaid. She takes a housekeeping job, this time for a mystery woman whom she never meets face-to-face. It is likely no surprise that she finds new and darker secrets in this project. That’s what the teaser promises, at least. On Instagram, we can see multiple videos of Sweeney stepping out to meet young fans in Hoboken. At a glance, the fans skew younger — from teens to tweens. (Please remember that she has appeared in more than just Euphoria. She is a talented, versatile actress.) She even had to return to filming, but promises the gathered fans that she would return for photos. Sure enough, she filmed again and then crossed the street to meet fans, appearing to even sign some items between takes. ‘The Housemaid’ was a massive success In 2025, Sweeney costarred with Amanda Seyfried in The Housemaid. This thriller had a $35 million budget yet grossed over $400 million worldwide. Even factoring for things like advertising, that’s a massive commercial success that likely enriched a lot of already very rich backers. It was no surprise when, mere weeks after the theatrical release, Lionsgate gave the sequel the green light. There is a lot that we do not yet know about this sequel. As we previously reported, Mitte died by suicide on Monday at the age of 34. Now, a startling new report claims that the actor was embroiled in some intense family drama in the days leading up to his death. And according to a new report from TMZ, the relationship had become a source of “tension” in recent weeks, as Suarez felt that Mitte’s mother was had been “meddling” in their affairs. In fact, the outlet is reporting that Suarez issued an ultimatum to Mitte, demanding that he choose between his mother and his wife-to-be. In a YouTube video, one TMZ journalist alleges that RJ and Kennedy’s relationship was “on the rocks” in the period leading up to Mitte’s death. “We don’t know if they broke up,” the reporter clarifies. The journalist went on to explain that Mitte was close with his mother and sisters and “obviously” was not going to cut ties with them. Obviously, little is known about what might have caused Mitte’s distress in his final days. And it would be unfair and reckless to allege that the family dispute involving his fiancee had anything to do with his decision to take his own life. Other stressors have been alleged, and much has been made of a recent interview in which RJ alleged that he had accrued a tremendous amount of debt due to malpractice by his financial team. Whatever the case, friends, colleagues, and a legion of devoted fans have been mourning Mitte and fondly recalling his life in the days since his death. “I’m in deep despair as I write this tonight. RJ Mitte, my sweet son on Breaking Bad has died,” Breaking Bad star Cranston wrote on Instagram, adding: “I met him when he was only 14 years old when he was cast as Walter White Jr., a part he played with such joy and enthusiasm. Two women have filed a federal lawsuit accusing Gaetz and several other defendants of participating in an alleged sex trafficking scheme. According to the lawsuit, both women were introduced to Gaetz through Joel Greenberg, the former Seminole County tax collector who is currently serving prison time for separate federal crimes. Jane Doe 1 alleges she met Greenberg in 2017 through Seeking Arrangement, an online dating platform often associated with relationships involving financial support. She claims their initial encounters involved sexual activity in exchange for money. She alleges she subsequently met Gaetz at a party on July 15, 2017. According to her account, she witnessed Gaetz have sex with a 17-year-old girl and give the teenager $400. The lawsuit also alleges Gaetz sent Jane Doe 1 money in multiple installments, with payments ranging from $150 to $1,000. Some of the transactions reportedly included casual explanations such as “Being my friend,” “Being awesome,” “Here” and “Just because.” Jane Doe 2 alleges she met Gaetz in December 2017. She claims that after taking ecstasy, she had sexual encounters with both Gaetz and Greenberg. The women also allege they traveled with Gaetz on multiple occasions, including trips to Las Vegas, the Florida Keys and New York City. The lawsuit names additional defendants and seeks to hold them accountable for the alleged conduct. The claims have not yet been proven in court. Last week, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced that the firing squad execution of Fort Hood mass shooter Nidal Hasan would be available to watch live online. Now, Donald Trump has announced that his administration has reversed course, and the public will no longer be getting a front-row seat. (Photo by Alex Wong/Getty Images) Trump announced Thursday that Hasan’s scheduled execution by firing squad will not be livestreamed. The decision follows mounting criticism from both Democrats and Republicans over the prospect of broadcasting a man’s execution. Hasan was convicted of killing 13 people and injuring 32 others in a 2009 shooting at Fort Hood, Texas. The former Army psychiatrist has been sentenced to death, with his execution scheduled for December 3. The Pentagon’s original plan to livestream the execution sparked widespread backlash, raising questions about whether broadcasting the event would serve as a deterrent or simply create a disturbing spectacle. Michael Desronvil points the finger at Lindsay Clancy’s attorney — saying that the man put a target on his back. In a new interview, he says that he has feared for his safety after the public learned of his identity. What threats has he received? (Image Credit: Fox News) Despite receiving no threats, the rogue juror has feared for his safety Michael Desronvil made himself infamous as he remained the lone holdout in the Clancy murder trial this summer. He now accuses Kevin Reddington, the defense attorney in the case, of putting a target on his back. Speaking to Fox News, Desronvil complained that he felt “scared” after Reddington asked the court to authorize an investigation into him. Specifically, Reddington has asked the court to look over Desronvil’s phone data from during the deliberations. He also wants Desronvil to answer questions regarding his truthfulness during Voir Dire. The vast majority of the time, juries operate on an honor system until that honor is questioned. Desronvil’s honor has been questioned — and not only by Reddington. According to Desronvil, one of his issues with Reddington is that the attorney referred to him as “he” while speaking to the judge. His fear is that someone with harmful intentions would have an easier time narrowing down the identity of the rogue juror. The Clancy jury was comprised of nine women and three men. Someone simply guessing could have identified Desronvil with 33% accuracy. (Of course, as non-rogue jurors spoke out after the case, his identity became much more obvious.) Of course, Desronvil did admit that he has not received physical threats of an kind despite the high profile of the case. Was there ever a chance for him to remain anonymous? Other jurors from the Clancy trial did not speak out lightly. As journalists spoke to them, the jurors all painted similar pictures of the then-unidentified holdout juror. They explained that this tragedy was just that — a tragedy. The defense made the case for postpartum psychosis to all 11 of them. Desronvil, however, maintained that Clancy had carefully planned the murders of her three young children. (After the killings, she jumped from a window to attempt suicide, but survived and is now permanently disabled.) His fellow jurors accused him of ignoring the facts of the case and even at one point of admitting to having reasonable doubt before backtracking. He denies this. Earlier this month, Reddington attempted to persuade the judge to dismiss the case. The judge didn’t go for it. If prosecutors really do insist upon taking Clancy to court again for a retrial, it’s unclear what they’d do differently. (They cannot simply hope for another Desronvil. The prosuection would need to somehow get 12 Desronvil’s on the jury — or prevent the defense from presenting any effective evidence or arguments.) Many say that prosecutors shouldn’t bring Clancy back to court. Others have said that they should have offered Clancy a deal to begin with. At any rate, she is due back in court on November 2. As for Desronvil, it’s unclear if he has anything to hide if the court allows an investigation into his phone data. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out in Nottingham on October 15 for their first official joint engagement since relocating from California to the United Kingdom with their children in August. The visit marked a return to familiar territory for the couple. Nottingham was also the site of their first official engagement together after announcing their engagement in 2017. Nearly nine years later, a lot has changed. Harry and Meghan married in 2018, welcomed two children, and walked away from their senior royal duties in 2020 before settling in California. Now, they’re back in Britain and making their presence known. The couple began their Nottingham visit at the Community Recording Studio, a charity that provides creative activities, mentoring and development programs for young people. Meghan and Harry greeted supporters outside the venue, posed for selfies and accepted gifts from well-wishers. Meghan also participated in a confidence-building workshop, while Harry reconnected with people involved in the organization’s youth programs. The Sussexes were scheduled to visit two additional organizations during the day: Himmah Hub, which works to combat food poverty, and Epic Partners, which supports young people through sports, education and mentoring. Both stops have connections to the couple’s previous charitable work. According to the actor, a shaman contacted him to warn him that he was “sick” and had been the victim of a curse by Vergara’s ex. Manganiello’s illness was not public knowledge. The shaman warned him that he was “sick,” specifying only that “something is wrong with his intestines.” Manganiello clarified that this was not a case of someone using publicly accessible information to pretend to have extraordinary insight into a celebrity’s life. “There were members of my close family who didn’t know any of that, let alone some random guy on the phone,” he explained. “I side-eyed Sofía with a look that was equal parts fear, anger, and disbelief,” Manganiello recalled. ‘No one knew’ “I looked at Sofía, trying to comprehend how the f–k this guy could possibly know any of this,” Manganiello described. “None of this had been mentioned in the press,” he emphasized. “No one knew.” The Cuban shaman then told the then-spouses that someone who still harbored love for Vergara had cursed Manganiello. “‘Someone from your past is still in love with you. He put a voodoo curse on your husband. He did it in New Orleans,’” he quoted the shaman in his book. ‘”Your husband needs to be cleansed and protected. I can do this. I can help him,'” Manganiello recalled the shaman telling them. “‘But I need to see him for two days, and I cannot come to the United States. Can he meet me somewhere else? I could meet him in Ecuador.’” ‘How did the shaman know all of that about me?’ “I was fully aware of how crazy it was for me to seriously entertain thoughts this bizarre,” Manganiello penned. “But then again,” he asked, “how did the shaman know all of that about me?” Especially when family and friends did not. “Why did the most insane thing I’d ever heard have to make so much f–king sense?” Manganiello asked. He added: “I shook my head, pulled out my phone, and began google searching flights to Guayaquil, Ecuador.” Manganiello did share that Vergara’s infamous ex, Nick Loeb, lived in New Orleans and had been with her shortly before they got together. It is unclear what good it would do to identify a suspect. What is a shaman? Strictly speaking, shaman originates from a Russian word and may even connect to a Sanskrit word. (Indo-European roots provide a common history for a lot of language, so etymology can be difficult to parse.) In essence, shamans are spiritual practitioners. They might do so within a religion or not. They might use the term interchangeably with “witch” or “priest,” or they might not. A shaman in Cuba would, statistically, most likely practice Lucumi (Santeria). Like Vodou, this Afro-Caribbean faith was imported from West Africa, particularly Nigeria, through centuries of trans-Atlantic human trafficking. Also like Vodou, Lucumi’s faith is rooted in Yoruba, with some syncretism with Catholicism. Was the person who contacted Manganiello a shaman eager to heal him? Was this person a scammer? Were they both? (There are, after all, people who dishonestly try to bring in business while earnestly practicing their faith. That happens in just about all religions.) As human shapes, illuminated stick figures made by glow sticks on real people in a pitch black room, dance, we hear “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet” by Bachman-Turner Overdrive playing. Two of the figures are small. Like, say, the size of preschool-aged twins. The other figure has more adult proportions. There is a four figure in the background, facing away from the others at first. When the figure — clearly Swank herself — turns around, it becomes clear that she is very pregnant, and has even goofily outlined a tiny person (in glow sticks) on her baby bump. In an age of hideous AI slop blanketing so much of social media — our generation’s asbestos, which will take decades to identify and eradicate — it is great to see something so fun and creative. “A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next,” Swank commented in the caption. She teased that “this one releases in December.” No, she is not releasing a film about glow stick figures. Not at this time, anyway. It seems clear that she is saying that her expected due date is either in late autumn or early winter. The 26-year-old singer recently took to Instagram to criticize Davidson after his comments about female influencers sparked backlash online. And apparently, O’Brien has some history with the Saturday Night Live alum that she isn’t particularly interested in remembering fondly. He is an absolute joke of a human being,” O’Brien wrote. O’Brien also responded to another commenter who questioned Davidson’s schedule, given his demanding career and romantic history. “Not sure how he has the time considering we were texting 24 hours a day and falling asleep on facetime when we weren’t together. Busy boy!” she added. According to O’Brien, the pair were in frequent contact before she discovered that Davidson had apparently moved on with someone else. The singer’s comments surfaced amid criticism of Davidson’s recent remarks about social media influencers. During an interview with Variety, the comedian took aim at creators who make money from TikTok dances, beauty routines, and other online content. Davidson described the influencer economy as “f–king insane and lame,” arguing that some creators earn enormous sums despite what he views as relatively little work. His comments didn’t go over particularly well with everyone. And O’Brien apparently saw an opportunity to offer a little insight into her own experience with the comedian. Of course, this isn’t the first time the singer has discussed their romance. During a 2022 appearance on the “BFFs” podcast, O’Brien spoke about their reported involvement in 2020, describing Davidson as a “nice guy” who was “funny” and “sweet.” She also discussed how she learned that Davidson was seeing someone else, explaining that she had been linked to him in a blind item circulating online. At the time, Davidson’s representative denied that the pair had dated, telling outlets there was “no truth” to the claims and explaining that they had hung out a few times as friends. O’Brien subsequently pushed back against the media coverage, claiming that her comments had been taken out of context. “I never claimed to date anyone,” she wrote in an Instagram Story at the time. “Stop trying to start weird drama over me texting someone 2 years ago. Jesus Christ.” Now, however, O’Brien has once again brought their alleged history into the spotlight. Davidson has yet to publicly respond to her latest comments. It is believed that he died precisely that way earlier this month, on his birthday. What was she thinking? In December 2020, she spoke to now ex-boyfriend Ryan Anderson, telling him that she and Urker were over. “Next thing you know, he gone,” Blanchard described of her ex. However, past entanglements came up again during a 2021 conversation, while Blanchard continued to remain behind bars due to our backwards legal system. At that time, she was discussing how she would refuse to allow a romantic interest to ignore her, even suggesting that she’d show up and throw cans at the person’s car if necessary. Anderson found that alarming. Blanchard and Anderson went on to marry while she was still behind bars. After her release, their marriage fell apart. She ended up reconnecting with Urker and even welcoming a child together. Aurora was born in December 2024. Why did she say something so cruel and (seemingly) so prescient? Unfortunately, Ken Urker did ultimately die on October 1, the day of his 34th birthday. Initial reports say that it was an overdose, as investigators found evidence suggesting as much near his person. However, authorities are still waiting on his toxicology reports. Someone can die surrounded by alleged paraphernalia but still die by another means, such as natural causes. Blanchard did not publicly divulge that she knew that he had an alleged history of substance abuse. Instead, she emphasized to outlets that she would remember Urker as a very intentional partner and father. Why would Blanchard have said such a thing? Sometimes, people lash out in anger. It’s human. That doesn’t make it okay, but it happens. In Blanchard’s case, she was raised by an abusive mother — who can no longer harm her or anyone — and kept socially isolated and not allowed to make normal friendships. She was drugged and mutilated as her mother conspired to keep her dependent. Then, almost the moment that she was finally free, she was locked away in prison as if she had done something wrong. It was a gross perversion of justice. Emotional regulation, relationships, role models … these are not automatic. Blanchard had — and still has — a lot to learn about being an adult and navigating life. It is a tragedy that words spoken in anger over half a decade ago turned out to be so prescient. Now, as expected, Kate is pushing back against her estranged son’s disturbing claims, making it clear that she has no intention of accepting his version of their troubled family history. The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star addressed the controversy in a TikTok comment after Collin Gosselin, 22, released his memoir, In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood, on Tuesday. And while Kate didn’t offer a detailed response to the accusations, she made her feelings about her son’s claims abundantly clear. (Photo by Kris Connor/Getty Images) “Rational logical [people] or anyone who has dealt with mental illness understands what’s going on here,” Kate wrote in response to a supporter who defended her against Collin’s allegations (per Page Six) The fan had described the accusations as “terrible lies” and argued that it should be illegal to defame someone in a memoir. Kate also liked a comment suggesting Collin would eventually regret publishing his account and had been encouraged by other people to make the allegations. “Exactly! I had nothing to do with it, except for consent because it was medically necessary,” Kate added. Collin’s memoir paints a deeply troubling picture of his childhood, alleging that his mother subjected him to physical and emotional abuse behind the scenes of the family’s TLC reality series. Among his most disturbing claims is that Kate kept him confined in a makeshift space in the family’s basement for approximately two years. He described the area as a “small holding cell” where he allegedly had little more than an air mattress and a pillow. Collin also alleged that Kate sent him to a psychiatric facility in 2016, when he was 11, and recalled her allegedly telling him that he had “broke our family.” Kate has previously denied the abuse allegations and defended her decision to seek professional treatment for her son. In a 2023 statement, she maintained that Collin’s treatment followed years of outpatient care and was necessary for the safety and well-being of their family. She also described him as a troubled young man who continued to need help. Collin, however, has disputed his mother’s characterization of his mental health. In recent interviews promoting his memoir, he has discussed his experiences growing up in the spotlight and his belief that his refusal to participate in the family’s reality show contributed to the conflict at home. The family became famous in 2007 with Jon & Kate Plus 8, which followed Kate and then-husband Jon Gosselin as they raised their twin daughters and sextuplets. The couple divorced in 2009, and their family life continued on television with Kate Plus 8. Jon eventually gained custody of Collin and daughter Hannah in 2018, while the other children remained with Kate. Collin has since become estranged from most of his siblings, although he emphasized in his memoir that he still loves them. For now, the bitter divide between mother and son remains unresolved. With Collin sharing his account in print and Kate continuing to reject his allegations, the Gosselin family’s long-running troubles are once again playing out in public.
