(Photo Credit: Eugene Gologursky/Getty Images for Macy’s, Inc.) ‘None of it really worked for me’ Speaking with People this week, Metz confessed to taking a GLP-1 medication. “I’m not getting any younger,” she explained, citing that years of dieting were not effective. “I’m in perimenopause,” Metz described, “and there were obesity issues within my family and with my father.” Metz continued: “And I felt like I’ve tried so many modalities, whether it was diets or therapy, and none of it really worked for me.” Most diets fail as the body adjusts. Bodies may struggle to store energy under the medicalized starvation that GLP-1 meds provide, however. By the way, Metz sharing this wasn’t necessarily spontaneous. She is partnered with a GLP-1 provider, Ro. So when she calls her experience with the medication “great,” we should of course keep that in mind. “It’s so nice not to be obsessing about what I’m going to have every minute, even as I’m still consuming the meal,” Metz expressed. “I just vilified food for so long because I was taught that it was bad,” she admitted. “And you shouldn’t eat this or that.” Critics are ‘not in my life’ Metz did acknowledge that “judgy” people might have disparaging things to say about her use of GLP-1 medication. Many people may express concern over known and unknown side effects, or over the documented GLP-1 shortages for diabetes patients who actually need it. But it sounds like Metz is thinking more of “haters” who think that taking a shot to starve yourself instead of starving yourself the old-fashioned way is “cheating.” “It doesn’t matter, because like I always say, they’re not in my life,” Metz said of “judgy” people. “They’re not in my doctor’s notes,” she continued. “They’re not in the hereditary issues my family has.” Metz did clarify that she is also working with a trainer to build muscle. She also claimed that she has not set a numerical goal weight. “I’m just a regular old girl who is trying her best,” Metz characterized. Back in April 2025, she was much more evasive about using GLP-1 use, declining to answer but commenting that she’s the sort of person who avoids taking Tylenol. Just for the record, plenty of people who would happily take Tylenol within medically recommended doses would not go near GLP-1 unless they had a diabetes diagnosis. Reading Time: 3 minutes Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell just changed things up with their child endangerment court case. (It is an understatement to say that this court case is not Joseph’s biggest legal issue at present, as he is accused of sexually abusing a 9-year-old girl.) Just hours before their scheduled court date, they withdrew their respective not guilty pleas. What does this mean? Joseph Duggar has been arrested for the alleged molestation of a 9-year-old girl. (Washington County Sheriff’s Office) What are Joseph and Kendra’s new pleas? People reports that Joseph and Kendra withdrew their pleas of not guilty on Monday, August 10. Instead, they submitted a “plea by order” to the court and were able to avoid the hearing. Presumably, this means that Joseph and Kendra plan to either plead guilty or to plead no contest to the charges. The judge will need to review the case and the couple’s updated response to the charges, and then determine what penalty they may face. For Joseph and Kendra, that could mean up to eight years in prison. Though perhaps they hope to get off with a lesser sentence, such as a fine, by throwing themselves upon the mercy of the court. Kendra’s arrest followed Joseph’s ostensibly unrelated arrest for allegedly molesting a 9-year-old. Authorities performed an automatic search of their home, and whatever they discovered there was enough for eight charges against both parents. A source close to the Duggars claimed that this was due to the locks on the children’s doors, which allowed them to be sealed in their rooms like prisoners. However, the obviously biased source is not reliable. No one has been able to confirm what authorities may have actually found inside the home of the cult members. How does this change things? The Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette shared a legal detail about Joseph and Kendra’s plea by order. Apparently, this change means that their case can be diverted by up to a full year. The local newspaper spoke to the court, who confirmed that cases against Joe and Kendra will remain open. As a reminder, Kendra gained permission to see her four children despite the charges against her. However, the court very sensibly denied Joseph’s request for unsupervised visits. In 2020, he allegedly molested a 9-year-old girl. We do not know her identity (nor should we), only that she is not one of his own children and does not appear to be a Duggar. Her father recently learned of it and confronted Joseph, leading to his reported confession. He actually confessed twice, the second time being to a detective, according to an affidavit. In light of these reported confessions, his legal strategy remains murky, as he pleaded not guilty in the Florida case, too. It would be nice if his upcoming plea with Kendra is a harbinger of things to come with his other case. Right now, there are fears that the victim — who is in her early teens — might have to testify in court. If Joseph’s legal strategy is to convince prosecutors to offer him a more generous deal to avoid putting her through that … well, that’s an awful thought. Reading Time: 3 minutes We have tragic news to report from the world of social media. Chandler David Hendry, a popular Mormon YouTuber and podcaster, has died at the age of 27. Hendry was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Lehi, Utah, on Friday, August 7, according to police. A photo taken at the scene of a car accident. According to a Lehi police spokesperson, witnesses reported that Hendry ran a red light and collided with two other vehicles. The occupants of those vehicles were not seriously injured. Hendry was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash remains ongoing. Hendry’s death was particularly heartbreaking for those who followed his religious content because of what he had shared online just hours earlier. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hendry founded the Restored Truth podcast and built a significant following by discussing his faith, scripture, and Christian history. He had more than 70,000 followers across his social media presence, according to the New York Post. Earlier on the day of the crash, Hendry had attended the FAIR Conference in Lehi. His final Instagram video was a reflection on something presented at that event: an illustration depicting the afterlife and the eternal connection between families. “That is what the eternities will look like,” Hendry said in the video. “A link of the family unit of God.” The post has taken on an especially poignant meaning following his unexpected death. Hendry, who was affectionately known as “Chuck,” was also preparing to help young members of his church who were getting ready to serve missions. An event he had organized went ahead following his death and became an impromptu memorial, with family members and friends sharing memories of the young religious creator. His father, Chad, recalled that his son had not always been comfortable with public speaking. When Hendry was asked to speak as a high school senior, his father said, he initially refused. That changed after Hendry’s first mission in Jackson, Mississippi. “You will speak in the name of Christ and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ,” Hendry was told, according to his father. Tributes have poured in from people who knew Hendry personally as well as those who followed his work online. His sister, Chaleigh Rowley, remembered her brother as someone who had been present for important moments throughout her life. “Thank you for loving me through all these phases of life we both endured,” she said. “Thank you for being at all my important milestones.” She added that his “light here on this earth will be missed.” His wife, AnaLynn, also paid tribute to Hendry following his death. “He was the best person that I knew,” she said. “I felt God’s love for me through him every single day.” Hendry died just weeks before his second wedding anniversary. Tyler Boebert, the 21-year-old son of the Colorado Republican congresswoman, was arrested Sunday on multiple felony charges related to the alleged sexual exploitation of a child. According to court records obtained by People, Tyler was arrested on August 9 and charged with inducing or enticing a child, possession of exploitative material involving video, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is scheduled to appear in court on August 19. The new charges arrive as Tyler is already awaiting sentencing in two unrelated criminal cases. In 2025, he faced a child abuse case. He also previously faced charges stemming from a February 2024 incident in Rifle, Colorado, involving vehicle trespasses and thefts. Those cases have yet to reach their final resolution. The latest allegations represent a significant escalation in the legal troubles that have followed Tyler in recent years. And the timing could hardly be more complicated for his mother. Lauren Boebert has dealt with scandal throughout her career. She is currently facing a reelection fight in Colorado’s traditionally Republican 4th Congressional District. Democratic challenger Eileen Laubacher, a retired Navy veteran, is seeking to unseat the controversial congresswoman. For now, neither Tyler Boebert nor a representative for Lauren Boebert has publicly commented on the latest charges, according to People. Well, former Boston Celtic Enes Kanter Freedom is now using that mentality to troll the world of women’s sports. Yes, the first round pick-turned-professional edgelord has officially declared his eligibility for the 2027 WNBA draft. (Photo by Presley Ann/Getty Images for Cantor Fitzgerald) Kanter has submitted a letter to the league declaring following through on a promise he made last week amid the ongoing debate over transgender athletes and women’s sports. “Please accept this formal document as my official written notification to the Women’s National Basketball Association of my voluntary decision to enter the player pool for the 2027 WNBA Draft,” reads a letter Kanter made public today. Freedom shared a copy of the letter on social media, adding a simple message alongside it: “rules are rules!” Yes, he’s certainly committed to the bit. In the letter, Freedom cited the league’s collective bargaining agreement, stating that he meets the age requirement and has no remaining collegiate eligibility. He also asked the league office to confirm receipt of his paperwork and process his registration for the draft. So, yes, this is officially a thing. The move comes just days after Freedom and former NBA player Royce White announced their intentions to enter the 2027 WNBA Draft. Both men have framed their decisions as a response to the WNBA’s handling of the increasingly heated debate surrounding transgender participation in women’s sports. The controversy intensified after Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham spoke publicly about her belief that biological differences should be considered when it comes to women’s sports. “I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans. And I’m like, ‘I never once said that,'” Cunningham said last month. She added that she wanted to “protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn’t have to go against biological men.” Cunningham’s comments sparked considerable backlash, as well as support, and the issue quickly became much bigger than one player’s remarks. Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve subsequently wore a “Trans kids belong” shirt during a game against Cunningham’s Indiana Fever. The WNBA Players Association has also addressed the controversy, emphasizing its commitment to inclusion while saying it represents players with different backgrounds, experiences and opinions. “Hate, abuse, and demonization of any person or group of people, including transgender people, only fuel fear, division, and harm,” the WNBPA said in a statement. Freedom has now inserted himself directly into that conversation. He hasn’t played in the NBA since 2022, but he’s certainly found a new way to remain part of the basketball conversation. And now the WNBA has an official piece of paperwork to deal with. It remains to be seen whether Freedom’s name will actually appear among the selections at the 2027 WNBA Draft. Reading Time: 2 minutes The Courtney Clenney case isn’t ending on a happy note for anyone. Not for late boyfriend Christian Obumseli and his family. Not for Clenney or her family. Attorneys reached an agreement. Clenney has now pleaded guilty to Obumseli’s 2022 death. Clenney’s plea includes prison time — but she may be out sooner than you expect. (Photo Credit: Hawaii Police Department) Guilty On Monday, August 10, Clenney pleaded guilty after her attorneys secured a deal with the prosecution. In 2022, her boyfriend, Christian Obumseli, died. Clenney’s guilty plea came with the agreement that she will serve a 6-year prison sentence. That is already a relatively short time for a homicide, though there may be extenuating circumstances. (There are some who believe that she deserves prison for life, and others who believe that she deserves no time behind bars at all.) A slight twist is that the agreement includes time served. Clenney has been behind bars for exactly 4 years, which means that she could be out and free in just two years. The prospect of spending two years behind bars is daunting — and likely sounds like a long wait, even after spending four locked away already. But Clenney was facing a potential life sentence before this manslaughter plea. As part of her deal, she must undergo treatment for mental health and substance abuse after her realse. This case was sensationalized for several reasons In April of 2022, Clenney stabbed Obumseli to death their their shared Miami apartment. Seemingly in shock, she told detectives that she had only stabbed him in self-defense. Clenney told investigators that she was a victim of domestic violence, and had picked up the knife as a warning to keep him away. “I grabbed a knife, and I said, ‘Don’t come anywhere close to me. I have absolutely no intention of using it,’” she told detectives. In the immediate aftermath, a seemingly bewildered Clenney repeatedly asked first responders if she’d killed her then-boyfriend. This case has been full of controversy, with various parties claiming that either Clenney or Obumseli were victims of domestic violence. It was further sensationalized by some people’s reactions to Clenney’s work on OnlyFans. Additionally, the prosecution was at one point found to have improperly accessed privileged communications between attorney and client. Yikes! As we said, this plea deal is likely to make folks on both sides unhappy. Obumseli’s family believes that he is innocent and they want justice. Clenney’s loved ones believe that she should spend no time behind bars for defending herself. Our justice system is imperfect, and grows only more visibly flawed with each passing day. But the Giudice family in this time was not only making money, but flaunting their wealth on reality television. Vicki’s odd and childish response sounded almost like boredom, as she snapped: “I never want to know any of this!” Oh boy. “I pay my taxes on time, all the time, no penalties, no interest, no nothing,” Vicki bragged for some reason. “You might have a financial lesson later sometime this week.” ‘I might be flipping her off this boat’ Numerous Housewives jumped to Teresa’s defense. Vicki was being super weird. After all, Teresa was opening up about a vulnerable moment. She was also pointing out that her ex-husband, Joe Guidice, dragged her name and money into alleged mortgage fraud. And then I got back off the wagon,” Brad clarifies with a “little laugh,” adding: “In a more restrained manner. I got overconfident a couple times, went, Yep, nope, not good for me. She has some eye-opening medical advice based upon her own harrowing experience. “You can’t trust anyone,” she warns her fans after describing prolonged symptoms that caused one eye to droop. She urged fans to “be careful with your bodies.” Britney illustrated her own droopy eye — a symptom that has only just now abated, following about a month. According to the pop superstar, a doctor had “put so much Botox in this left eye that it drooped down like that.” She then illustrated her meaning, as you can see in the video. “And it’s just now starting to raise up and be normal again,” Britney revealed after weeks of the same symptom. Though she voluntarily shared this with the public, she admitted that the whole experience felt “so embarrassing.” She went on to caution her fans against repeating her mistake. “Girls, you have to be careful if you do Botox,” Britney warned. “These people and these doctors,” she explained, “they can really f–k your eyes up.” ‘You can’t trust anyone!’ Britney specified that her eye was droopy for a period of about “four weeks’ or so. “Be careful with these people,” she urged. “They try to change, like, your face and try to, like, f–k things up,” Britney added. With rare exceptions, anyone doing cosmetic work is likely hoping for a positive result. That does not mean that they will always get one. Accidents happen, from faulty products to user error to allergies and beyond. “Be careful with your bodies,” Britney encouraged her fans. “Because it’s yours,” she pointed out, “and you own it. So, that’s it.” Britney has made other body-positive statements recently, including in the (above) Instagram post, where her caption mentioned that the photo was not worth what she put herself through to look like that. On the topic of cosmetic work, she again cautioned: “You can’t trust anyone!!!” Wise words. In a Cameo video shared by Bravo and Cocktails, a fan asked Jax about Stassi and her new series, House of Stassi. And while he made it clear that he still has plenty of admiration for his former girlfriend, he wasn’t exactly complimentary when it came to her performance as a wife and mother. “I think Stassi is an amazing person, I think she’s strong, I think she’s smart, I think she’s intelligent, I just don’t think she’s the best wife,” Jax said. He went on to suggest that Beau deserves a partner who is more attentive to his feelings. “I think Beau [Clark] deserves somebody that just cares about his feelings a little bit more,” Jax added. To his credit, Jax acknowledged that he probably isn’t exactly the most qualified person to critique someone else’s marriage. “I mean, I’m the wrong person to talk when it comes about marriage,” he admitted. Still, Jax said his opinion was based largely on what he has seen on House of Stassi. “I just think Stassi’s just very career-driven and I think she puts her husband and her kids on the back burner,” he said. Jax attempted to clarify that he doesn’t view Stassi’s ambition as a bad thing. In fact, he praised her for being focused on her career and described that aspect of her personality as a positive. But he believes there’s a downside when that ambition comes at the expense of family life. “If you’re focused on your career and you’re a boss bitch, then, you know, that’s a positive thing,” Jax said. “You put your kids, your husband on the back burner, then it’s not a good thing.” And, just like that, Jax Taylor had apparently become a marriage counselor. Jax’s comments come as Stassi and Beau’s marriage has become one of the central storylines of House of Stassi. The couple’s relationship struggles have already prompted plenty of discussion among viewers, with Beau getting emotional while describing how disconnected he had become from his wife. “I’m trying to balance wanting her to have her space and to be able to not stress out when she’s working,” he says on the show. “But then also I’m sitting here, and I’m angry and resentful.” He later described their relationship as feeling more like that of roommates. In a since-deleted Instagram post, Taylor offered her side of the story. “I was emotional and I was like, ‘Let me take a step outside,'” she recalled. “So I went to go take a breather, which I think would be the correct thing to do to de-escalate emotions,” Taylor explained. She clarified that she did not depart, adding: “I would never leave someone in my home unattended.” When it comes to Indy walking the sad path that many overly-put-upon eldest kids (especially daughters) have before, Taylor also had an explanation. She said that Indy “likes to help.” Taylor characterized her daughter as being in her “mummy’s helper” phase. It is extremely common for many children to seek approval from a parent and to want to be helpful. Those are also great traits from adults! But when an eldest sibling takes on parental responsibilities, it is not unreasonable for people to express concern. Just because overly-put-upon eldest kids (especially daughters) are common does not mean that they should shoulder this burden. Taylor concluded: “And correction the 4th of July I was alone music turned up and the 24 of July (fireworks in Utah) was helping my son understand those loud noises aren’t coming for us.” Taylor’s probation has come to an end, and she has found the weirdest and most off-putting way to celebrate. Viator shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook, remembering her husband as someone who lived a full and meaningful life. “I lost the love of my life today. Ben passed from a massive heart attack,” she wrote. Jones was at home in his favorite chair when he died, Viator revealed, waiting for the Atlanta Braves to take on the New York Yankees. “Ben had the most amazing, rich, full life,” she added. “He loved and was loved by so many. He will be missed. I loved him so so much.” For millions of television viewers, Jones will forever be associated with Cooter, the good-natured mechanic and friend of the Duke family. The CBS series ran from 1979 through 1985, with Jones appearing throughout its original seven-season run. He also reprised the character in later Dukes of Hazzard reunion projects. Cooter was the owner of the local garage and tow truck in Hazzard County, making him an important ally to Bo and Luke Duke whenever the cousins found themselves in trouble. Jones once explained the character’s appeal by noting that Cooter was always working because he operated the only garage and tow truck in town. “He had the only garage and the only tow truck in a place where all they did was wreck cars,” Jones said in a 2008 interview. “Every time you saw him, he was working, and people can relate to that.” But Jones’ career extended far beyond Hollywood. After The Dukes of Hazzard, he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Georgia’s Fourth Congressional District in 1988. He was reelected in 1990 and served as a Democrat. During his time in Congress, Jones served as Democratic whip and worked on the House Veterans’ Affairs and Public Works and Transportation committees. He later ran against Newt Gingrich in 1994 but lost. Jones eventually returned to his Dukes of Hazzard roots. He opened museums dedicated to the series in Virginia and helped launch DukesFest, an annual celebration that brought together fans of the classic show. His death has prompted an outpouring of affection from fans, friends, and former castmates. Tom Wopat, who played Luke Duke, paid tribute to Jones on social media. “The Dukes of Hazzard lost another integral part of their cast today,” Wopat wrote, describing Jones as “a fine friend” and “a fierce advocate of all the best things we can offer in the entertainment business.” “He will be sorely missed,” Wopat continued. “But I feel like we lost a Duke cousin today.” Jones is survived by his wife, Alma, and his two children, Rachel and Walker. Plaza was recently spotted out and about in New York after seeing Death of a Salesman. Her partner, Christopher Abbott, made his last performance in the play. Plaza was holding her newborn. She had her little baby bundled in a blanket and with a beanie. Plaza did not make a formal “I had a baby” announcement on social media, so this served more or less the same purpose. TMZ reports that Plaza welcomed her newborn daughter during the final week of July. Together with Abbott, that makes them a family of three. Word on Plaza’s pregnancy first came out in April. She didn’t make any effort to hide her baby bump once it had made the news. At the time, it was reported that she expected a delivery in the autumn. There’s another month and a half in the summer, but there are no reports of her baby being premature. It may be that reports were off on the due date. There’s no one right way to grieve (or to move on) News of Plaza’s pregnancy was met with joy — but also a level of surprise. Previously, she was married to screenwriter and director Jeff Baena. The two met and began dating in 2011, and married in 2021. In late 2024, they separated amidst mental health concerns about Baena. Though Plaza would continue to care about her ex, even at one point having a friend check on him and encouraging him to attend therapy, Baena ended up dying by suicide in January 2025. It was a shock to everyone, including Plaza. And some fans were left feeling puzzled by pregnancy news just months later. In reality, many of us know that different people grieve in different ways. Plaza’s ex died, months after they separated. Of course that hit her hard. But she moved on. And whether by design or happenstance — which is truly none of our business — she is now a first-time mom. The 84-year-old senator from Kentucky was rushed to the hospital by ambulance in June, and for obvious reasons, many feared the worst. But despite rumors to the contrary, McConnell’s wife maintained that he was still alive. And now, Mitch — or someone speaking on his behalf — claims that he’s been released from the hospital and is resting comfortably at home. ((Photo by Andrew Harnik/Getty Images)) “Earlier today, I was discharged from the rehabilitation center to continue my recovery at home,” reads a post on McConnell’s Facebook page: “Elaine and I are grateful for the many well wishes and support from friends, colleagues, and Kentuckians, and for the attentive care I’ve received from excellent doctors, nurses, therapists, and hospital staff. “On the advice of my doctors, I’ll maintain an intensive regimen of physical therapy from home during the state work period, and I’ll continue to engage with my staff and colleagues on important Senate business.” The news comes at the start of a five-week Senate hiatus, so it might be quite some time before McConnell casts another vote. Not surprisingly, critics and conspiracy theorists have snarkily described the timing as “convenient.” According to his office, McConnell has been undergoing multiple physical therapy sessions each day focused on improving his strength and reducing the risk of future falls. Those efforts are especially significant given the senator’s history with childhood polio, which left him with lasting mobility issues. In recent years, McConnell has also experienced several high-profile health setbacks, including multiple falls and widely publicized freezing episodes during press appearances. His extended absence from the Senate also fueled growing questions about his fitness for office, with some Kentucky political leaders calling for greater transparency regarding his condition. McConnell did not provide a date for when he expects to resume in-person duties on Capitol Hill. .McConnell said he plans to remain engaged with his staff and Senate colleagues throughout his recovery. The film, which stars Robert Pattinson in the lead role, explores the controversial career of Chris Hansen, the NBC journalist who made a name for himself by setting up televised sting operations to expose men who had arranged to meet minors they had met online. What began as a segment on Dateline: NBC soon spawned its own series, To Catch a Predator, and Hansen soon found himself at the center of intense debates about journalistic ethics and vigilante justice. And it seems that despite the controversies, he’s still up to his old tricks. Although many viewers still associate Hansen almost exclusively with To Catch a Predator, the 66-year-old never stepped away from investigative reporting. After leaving NBC in 2013, Hansen launched several new projects centered on crime reporting, including Hansen vs. Predator and later Takedown with Chris Hansen. He also founded the streaming platform TruBlu, which focuses on true crime programming and investigative journalism. He’s also embraced podcasting. Hansen currently hosts two shows, “Predators I’ve Caught” and “Have a Seat with Chris Hansen,” where he revisits past investigations, interviews guests and discusses ongoing criminal cases. According to People, new episodes are released twice each week. The past several years have also brought major changes away from the cameras. Hansen divorced his first wife, Mary Joan Hansen, in 2020 after nearly three decades of marriage. Their split followed years of highly publicized personal and financial issues, including reports that Hansen was evicted from his New York apartment during the divorce proceedings. Hansen later downplayed the situation, describing it as a landlord-tenant dispute that received more attention than it deserved. Just one year later, he married Gabrielle Gagnon, beginning a new chapter in his personal life. Hansen has also weathered a handful of legal issues since his Dateline days. In 2019, he was arrested after allegedly writing bad checks connected to promotional merchandise for a crowdfunding campaign. The matter was ultimately resolved. He also faced a warrant in 2021 after failing to appear in court related to a sting operation. Hansen later said the missed court date resulted from a misunderstanding with his legal team. And this time, even “edgy” humor fans who might usually defend Rife are conceding that the comic may have gone too far. You see, this wasn’t a case of Rife lashing out at a heckler on stage. Rather, he took to social media to encourage a fan with autism to kill himself. The place was formerly owned by famed paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, and it houses the notorious haunted Annabelle doll. Rife has taken some flak from the paranormal investigation community for seemingly not taking the museum seriously and for charging outrageous ticket prices. One such investigator, Chris Mac, did not harshly criticize Matt (at least not that we know of), but did comment on one of his posts with some historical context about the Salem Witch Trials. And for some reason, that comment prompted a scorched earth response from Matt: “Sir, you are a lifeless douchebag. Please remove yourself from this earth. Absolutely nobody is reading your novels in these comments. You do not matter to anybody,” he wrote (via TMZ), adding: “The event has already sold thousands of tickets. Now watch as I block you and you fall back into nonexistence “Now am going move forward with all this nonsense garbage what Matt said and Elton Castee control your mentor Matt or get Matt therapy I don’t want ever ever want see Matt bully a person with autism again do I make myself clear not ok to say with a person with autism I have autism,” Mac shot back in response. Rife has not yet responded, but Mac has quite a few supporters who have come to his defense. Sources close to Rife explain that he is frequently bullied in the comments of his posts. They explain that he has reached the point where he frequently replies in brutal fashion, and more often than not, the troll just quietly deletes their comment and goes away. The video, which has both a retro filter over much of it, shows North wandering the ruins of an abandoned school. We see her sporting turquoise hair, facial piercings, and black teeth — a familiar look, at this point. There is imagery of blood dripping, and she drops in and out of focus. Her face is not always visible. Many have accurately compared the video’s aesthetics to a horror anime. That is extremely age-appropriate, given that North is 13. “Just love me / Everyone betrays me,” North sings at one point. “Can’t be no one’s friend,” she laments in other lyrics. “I can’t let nobody in,” North then affirms, completing the rhyme. This edgy song comes from her debut EP, as we mentioned. N0rth4ever released on May 1 of this year. Many songs touch upon her status as a child born into celebrity. Is this a cry for help? Numerous comments on social media, even under the video itself, as if North is trying to reach the outside world with her lyrics and imagery. Many adults find this sort of imagery disturbing when coming from a 13-year-old. We have to emphasize that this, like North’s controversial fashion choices, is actually super normal for her age. Developmentally, North is at an age where she pursues her own aesthetics and listens to her own music. (In her case, as a nepo baby, she also makes her own, but that’s not so standard.) Her dark kawaii Hot Topic vibes are much more typical for a 13-year-old than the enormous wealth and involuntary fame into which she was born as the child of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. As for the tour, we still don’t have any real answers. North had been scheduled to kick off her Kimokawaii tour with rapper Molly Santana on Wednesday, August 5. On her July 30 Instagram Story, North simply said: “Sadly it isn’t happening anymore.” This could mean anything from scheduling conflicts to being grounded to some sort of security concern to insufficient ticket sales. In August of 2024, Haven and his wife, The Real L Word star Romi Imbelli, separated. They had only been married for 15 days. In March 2025, they successfully had their marriage annulled. During a recent livestream, Haven explained that he came out to Imbelli after their annulment. It is important to note that the Thursday, August 6 livestream was with Imbelli. We’d say that she took it as well as expected. Haven is gay. “It was never about pretending to be someone else,” he explained, reflecting upon his childhood interests. He added: “It was about letting a part of myself shine that had always been there.” Haven went on to affirm that coming out “isn’t about becoming someone new.” Instead, he emphasized that it is about “allowing everyone else to meet the person who has been here all along.” He is anxious about how certain family will reaction Not everyone comes from a family that they believe will love and accept them for being who they are. Haven’s sister is Angelina Jolie, and she is obviously not the issue. Their father is Jon Voight, who has become a notorious conservative and an outspoken supporter of the Trump regime over the past decade. On Thursday, Haven expressed a hope that “family and others can choose love over fear, understanding over judgment, and connection over the beliefs that may have kept us apart.” He aspired: “I hope they can look beyond the labels and simply see me with the same heart, the same laugh, the same soul they’ve always known.” For her part, Imbelli was deeply supportive of her ex-husband. “I didn’t want to see it. I didn’t want to believe” that he was gay, she explained. “I knew it and I wanted to support you and love you,” Imbelli reasoned. “And then I didn’t want to believe it because then it would mean losing you in that capacity, which I couldn’t.” On the stream, she affirmed that Haven will remain her “life partner” but not her spouse. “You are not my close friend. One year later, Page Six reports that “It’s been an incredibly emotional year for Kelly and the kids.” River, their daughter, is 12. Remington or “Remy,” their son, is 10. “Losing a parent at such a young age is something no child should ever have to go through,” the insider opined. The source added: “Kelly has done everything she can to be there for River and Remy as they’ve navigated that loss.” “Her focus has been making sure they feel loved, supported, and as stable as possible,” the insider described. The source added that this is “while giving them the space to grieve in their own way.” Loss is difficult at any age, but children usually have fewer coping mechanisms than adults when it comes to accepting the change. But, in most cases, giving someone space to process is a good idea. They were married for nearly 7 years before the split Clarkson and Blackstock’s marriage did not end on a high note. Nor did it end quickly. In June of 2020, Clarkson filed to divorce her husband after just shy of seven years of marriage. Some declared that their marriage was a pandemic casualty. An insider told the tabloid that Perez is “really suffering” right now. “He’s a man in a lot of pain,” the source characterized.
