  2. View Article Media Media gallery × ❮ ❯ 1 / 8 [Project Background] This asset comes from an abandoned campaign concept inspired by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Back 4 Blood, which I spent about 6 months developing. The project remained in an early beta stage and was never finished. It featured ported assets from CoD 4 & B4B (maps, models, etc.), along with a custom VScript setup where military NPCs used assault logic to replace Special Infected—moving, taking positions, and shooting directly at players. The Abomination was planned as the final boss fight, complete with custom mapping, scripts, and cutscenes. I abandoned the project, and I currently have no plans to complete or release the full campaign. Major polish was still missing (bot NAV mesh navigation, cutscene animations, custom events, and overall tuning). I just wanted to share this abandoned idea with you. I'm not promising anything, but perhaps I'll pick up this project again in the future, but for now, it remains unfinished. I have also withdrawn the public version, limiting it to early access only. I've been playing with making skyboxes so I borrowed this one from Zombies from Planet X1 by RYOK. His map was so bright it was hard to appreciate it. Here you can see his kewl skymap in all it's glory. All the other campaigns I ported of X3Ent3nte will have new skyboxes that I've created. I call this the Halo Reach version because it has some Halo Reach Models in it. Have fun :) - What you see is a modified transport ship attacking the facility and two missiles and a pelican reaching out to stop the baddie. I found those Halo Models out on the internet. If they belong to anyone I think they are pretty awesome. View the full article
  4. Hello, PUBG Esports fans! The final stretch of the 2026 PUBG Global Series is approaching: PGS Circuit 4. With PGS 10, PGS 11, and the Circuit Final, PGS 12, the three remaining tournaments will bring this year’s 12-event PUBG Global Series to a close. Circuit 4 is more than just the final circuit of the season. With the conclusion of PGS 12, the final PGS Points standings for the 2026 season will be determined, deciding the eight teams that will advance to PUBG Global Championship 2026. After three circuits of competition, the race for PGC is beginning to take shape—but nothing has been decided yet. With PGS 10, PGS 11, and double points on the line at PGS 12, there are still 240 PGS Points up for grabs. Which teams will earn their way to PGC 2026 through PGS Points? Let’s take a closer look at Circuit 4, the final competition of the 2026 PGS season. PGS Circuit 4 SchedulePGS Circuit 4 will take place from October 14 to November 1. PGS 10 Group Stage: October 14 Winners Stage: October 15 Survival Stage: October 16 Final Stage: October 17–18 PGS 11 Winners Stage: October 22 Survival Stage: October 23 Final Stage: October 24–25 PGS 12 Survival Stage: October 29 Grand Finals: October 30–November 1 As the Circuit Final, PGS 12 will see the top eight teams in the Circuit 4 PGS Points standings advance directly to the Grand Finals based on the points accumulated through PGS 10 and PGS 11. The remaining 16 teams will compete in the Survival Stage for the remaining spots in the Grand Finals. When PGS 12 comes to an end, it will mark not only the conclusion of Circuit 4, but also the end of the 2026 season-long PGS Points race spanning PGS 1 through PGS 12. PGS Points StandingsWith three circuits and nine PGS events now complete, the battle for PGS Points is more intense than ever. At the conclusion of Circuit 3, Virtus.pro leads the standings with 261 points, followed by Made in Thailand with 224 points, 17Gaming with 223 points, and T1 with 208 points. Currently occupying the final PGC qualification spot is Petrichor Road in eighth place with 152 points. But the gaps around the cutoff remain narrow. Seventh-place Falcons sit just two points ahead at 154, while ninth-place Gen.G Esports trail the current PGC qualification line by only seven points with 145. Most importantly, Circuit 4 is still to come. The current standings are far from the final picture of who will advance to PGC. PGC 2026 Qualification & PGS PointsThe top eight teams in the final PGS Points standings, accumulated across PGS 1 through PGS 12 during the 2026 season, will qualify for PGC 2026. And the final standings determine more than just qualification. The higher a team finishes in the PGS Points standings, the later the stage from which they will begin their PGC 2026 journey. The team finishing 1st in PGS Points will advance directly to the PGC 2026 Grand Finals. The 2nd-place team will enter at Survival Stage Day 1, while the teams finishing 3rd through 8th will begin their journey in the Qualifying Stage. This means Circuit 4 is about more than simply breaking into the Top 8. For teams already inside the qualification zone, the battle will continue until the very end as they fight for a higher PGS Points ranking and a more advantageous PGC seed. 240 PGS Points Are Still Up for Grabs In both PGS 10 and PGS 11, the winner will earn 60 PGS Points, with points awarded down through 16th place. At the Circuit Final, PGS 12, the points will be doubled. The winner will earn 120 points, with 96 points going to second place, and double the PGS 10 and PGS 11 point values applied throughout the standings. That means the maximum number of points a single team can earn in Circuit 4 is: 60 points (PGS 10 1st) + 60 points (PGS 11 1st) + 120 points (PGS 12 1st) = 240 points. Considering the current gaps both inside and outside the PGC qualification zone, the three remaining tournaments leave plenty of room for the final standings to change. For teams outside the Top 8, Circuit 4 represents one final opportunity to make their move. For those already inside, it will be the final test to defend their position and secure a higher PGC seed. PGS 10 GroupsAnd it all begins with PGS 10. The Group Stage groups have been confirmed for the 24 teams competing in PGS 10. The teams have been divided into Groups A, B, and C through a snake seeding format based on the final results of PGS 9. PGS 9 winner Gen.G Esports has been placed in Group A, second-place T1 in Group B, and third-place Falcons in Group C. From there, the direction of placement alternates according to the PGS 9 standings, distributing all 24 teams across the three groups. Group A: Gen.G Esports, Made in Thailand, Virtus.pro, TEAM LIQUID, DN SOOPers, Sharper Esports, Team Vitality, Natus Vincere Group B: T1, Alpha Gaming, Team Flash, eArena, Petrichor Road, FULL SENSE, TYLOO, JD Gaming Group C: Falcons, Geekay Esports, Anyone’s Legend, 17Gaming, FOUR ANGRY MEN, Twisted Minds, 09(Team Nemesis at PGS 9), Godlike \[Updated: October 12] Following GAM The Expendables’ withdrawal from PGS Circuit 4, Team Flash has been selected as the replacement team based on its placement in PVS Phase 1, in accordance with the existing team qualification criteria. ※ Further updates will be provided if there are any changes to the tournament. The Final Step to PGCThe 2026 PUBG Global Series journey that began with PGS 1 now has just three tournaments remaining. There is still everything to play for after Circuit 3. With 60 points available at each of PGS 10 and PGS 11, followed by 120 points at PGS 12, a total of 240 points remain on the table—and a single strong finish could reshape the race to PGC. Which teams will finish inside the final Top 8 and earn their place at PGC 2026? And which team will rise to the very top of the standings to secure a direct seed to the PGC Grand Finals? The final competition of the 2026 PUBG Global Series is about to begin. Tune in and cheer on your favorite teams as they make their final push toward PGC 2026! View the full article

  8. Until last year, it felt like the era of Twisted Minds. But this year, everything has changed. The arrival of a predator capable of devouring every team in its path has reshaped the PUBG Esports landscape. And that predator emerged not from Asia or APAC, but from Europe. Its name is Virtus.Pro (VP), the new dominant force in PUBG Esports. Of course, VP was not yet the finished product in 2025. The team finished as runners-up at PGS 9 and went on to claim the PGS 10 title. However, when it mattered most at PGC 2025, VP once again had to settle for second place. But the VP of 2026 is a different beast. Starting with a championship victory at PGS 3, VP followed up with a runner-up finish at PEC Spring, third place at PGS 5, and a championship title at the Esports World Cup (EWC). The team then secured back-to-back runner-up finishes at PGS 7 and PGS 8, followed by another second-place finish at PEC Fall. And last week, VP claimed yet another championship at PGS 10. VP now holds a commanding lead in the PGS Points standings and has consistently placed among the top teams at major tournaments throughout the year. So, what exactly has made VP so strong? VP’s biggest transformation began in mid-2025. After announcing his retirement as a professional player, ibiza transitioned into a coaching role with VP, while curexi joined the roster to fill the vacant position. Having made his professional debut in 2018, ibiza competed until 2025 and established himself as one of Europe’s most experienced veterans. He had served as VP’s in-game leader (IGL), but decided to take on a new challenge as a coach to help the team reach the next level. To fill the gap, VP brought in curexi, who had previously played for prominent organizations such as Heroic and FaZe Clan, strengthening the team’s overall balance. As a coach, ibiza began applying the experience and strategic knowledge he had accumulated over his long career, providing tailored preparation for each tournament. Meanwhile, curexi quickly adapted to the existing roster, requiring little time to find his place within the team. So, what makes this team so formidable? VP has many strengths, but three stand out in particular. The first is VP’s ability to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure. Lukarux, the team’s IGL, excels at identifying which positions to secure and which routes to take. Even when circumstances change in an instant, he remains composed and makes decisive calls. Whether attacking or defending, his decisions consistently demonstrate remarkable precision and stability. But these decisions do not come from Lukarux alone. In today’s competitive environment, every player must be capable of making independent decisions. At the same time, those individual decisions must align with the team’s overall strategy. Lukarux establishes the bigger picture, while the other three players make real-time adjustments and contribute the finer details needed to execute that strategy. As we will explore further, VP’s confidence in its fighting ability—and its understanding of which engagements it can win—forms the foundation of its decision-making. This is why VP often takes a far more aggressive approach than other teams. Once VP identifies a target, the team commits its full attention to it. Teams that fall behind in championship races sometimes struggle because they consider too many options at once, losing sight of what matters most at critical moments. VP is different. The team knows exactly what to prioritize when it matters, and more importantly, how to execute the actions required to achieve its objective. The second strength is VP’s exceptional fighting ability and technical skill. And to explain this, we have to talk about NIXZYEE. If I had to choose just one player with the most formidable fighting ability in 2026, I would pick NIXZYEE without hesitation. He possesses an extraordinary range of combat techniques and movement skills, combining devastating firepower with excellent teamwork. His precision when spraying with magnified scopes is almost mechanical. His peeks are astonishingly fast, and his unpredictable movement constantly disrupts his opponents’ timing. With his overwhelming individual skill, NIXZYEE turns every engagement into a nightmare for his opponents. Among all active players, it would not be an exaggeration to call him one of the most complete players in the game. What makes him even more frightening is his constant pursuit of improvement. He continues to study new techniques, refine them, and incorporate them into his gameplay. But NIXZYEE is far from VP’s only threat. Beami and curexi also bring tremendous firepower to long-range engagements, consistently delivering strong performances. They are particularly dangerous when using sniper rifles (SRs), often securing the first knock against an opponent and creating new opportunities for their team to push forward. Their headshot accuracy is especially impressive. While many professional players maintain headshot rates of around 20%, VP’s players frequently exceed 30%. These precise headshots allow them to knock opponents out of position and create opportunities to take control of areas held by enemy teams. These strengths were on full display at PGS 10. Throughout the tournament, VP recorded 55 first knocks, averaging 5.5 per match. VP’s third major strength is its ability to build and execute strategies specifically designed to win championships. Its tactical flexibility goes beyond making adjustments within individual matches. VP also analyzes the overall standings, identifies its closest championship rivals, and develops strategies to directly challenge them when necessary. The final match of PGS 10 on Taego is a perfect example. At the time, VP was tied on 86 points with tournament leader Team Liquid (TL). Rather than simply following its usual strategy and trying to outscore its rival through conventional play, VP made a bold decision. It chose to directly target TL. This was not a reckless gamble. It was a calculated decision based on VP’s confidence in early-game engagements and its analysis of how TL was likely to respond. And the strategy worked almost immediately. VP eliminated two TL players in an early engagement, gaining a decisive advantage from the start. From there, VP systematically shut down the routes TL could use to move into the playable area, limiting its opportunities to recover and earn additional points. By neutralizing its closest rival, VP took control of the championship race. In the end, the title belonged to VP. Looking Ahead There is still much more to explore when it comes to VP’s winning formula. But with even greater challenges waiting ahead, it would be a shame to reveal every aspect of their strategy just yet. The predator of 2026 has already conquered PGS. Can VP go one step further and finally lift the PGC trophy it has been chasing? We’ll be watching closely as the predator prepares for its next hunt. - Jisooboy View the full article

That means the maximum number of points a single team can earn in Circuit 4 is: 60 points (PGS 10 1st) + 60 points (PGS 11 1st) + 120 points (PGS 12 1st) = 240 points. Get the Irn Bru chilled, grab yourself a Tunnock’s, and get ready for a wee trip north of the border! Today, we’re buzzing to give you your first proper look at Edinburgh as part of our ongoing UK Rework project for Euro Truck Simulator 2. So, nae messing about, let’s get stuck in and see what’s changed in Scotland’s historic capital. Edinburgh is a city packed with history, character and some of Scotland’s most recognisable architecture. From its historic Old Town to its famous castle, the Scottish capital has a distinctive look which our team has been working hard to capture in-game. Of course, no recreation of Edinburgh would be complete without Princes Street! Around this famous shopping street, players will be able to spot several of the city's most famous landmarks, including the Scott Monument, the iconic clock tower of The Balmoral Hotel, and Edinburgh Castle overlooking the city from Castle Rock. Another landmark players may spot on their travels is Arthur's Seat, one of Edinburgh's most famous natural sights. Rising above the city, it can be seen from many areas around the capital and beyond. However, our team wanted Edinburgh to feel like much more than just a collection of famous landmarks. As you travel through the city, you'll encounter a mixture of busy commercial streets & residential neighbourhoods. You'll also find plenty of history around the city too, including churches and statues of notable figures placed throughout the city. One such statue can be found at Picardy Place, where Sherlock Holmes keeps a watchful eye over the surrounding streets! We felt this was a rather elementary detail worth including in our recreation. Head to the waterfront and you'll reach Leith, one of Edinburgh's main industrial areas in our rework. The Port of Leith forms an important part of this district, with its docks, yards and surrounding infrastructure. Looking for work? Players will find a selection of delivery opportunities around Edinburgh! Head to Leith for jobs at the port or a local construction site, or venture towards the outskirts of the city, where you'll find more locations to deliver to and from. Drivers will also be able to find their own little rest spot by the seaside, as our team managed to place the Edinburgh garage right beside the coast! You may even spot some friendly furry friends hanging around, as the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home is located nearby. We're also working to recreate some of Edinburgh's familiar public transport, including its trams and double-decker buses, which will help bring even more life to the city streets. Alongside this, Edinburgh Bus Station is being created with our upcoming Coaches DLC in mind, allowing players to pick up and drop off passengers as part of their journeys to and from the Scottish capital. We hope you've enjoyed this wee look around Edinburgh and everything our team has been working on for the UK Rework! There’s still plenty more to come, so keep your eyes peeled and be sure to follow us on our social media channels for the latest news, screenshots and updates. Until next time, keep on truckin'! https://store.steampowered.com/app/227300/Euro_Truck_Simulator_2/ View the full article
  12. Evil Geniuses is closing its doors after more than 25 years in esports. The organization will cease competitive and day-to-day operations on November 2, 2026, citing limited sponsorship opportunities and the rising cost of competing at the highest level. The announcement follows EG missing out on a VCT Americas partnership spot for 2027. For fans who watched the organization lift the VALORANT Champions trophy just three years ago, it’s a tough ending to a memorable run. In brief: Evil Geniuses will stop competitive and daily operations on November 2, 2026. CEO Chris DeAppolonio cited sponsorship challenges and rising competition costs. Players across all EG rosters can begin discussions with other organizations immediately. EG’s VALORANT players and coaches can sign with new teams when the season ends on November 2. Evil Geniuses Shutting Down In EG’s announcement, CEO Chris DeAppolonio described several years of rebuilding the organization. Those efforts included stabilizing operations, improving public sentiment, increasing content output and engagement, entering new games, and expanding its creator roster. According to DeAppolonio, those improvements still couldn’t overcome the financial pressures facing the business. Sponsorship remained limited while the cost of maintaining top-level teams continued to rise. EG’s official website also points to constrained investment, saying the organization had reached the conclusion that it could no longer operate responsibly under current conditions. EG Closure Follows VCT 2027 Partnership Setback The shutdown announcement arrived shortly after the final spot in the next VCT Americas partnership lineup was announced, leaving EG without a partnered place for 2027. That setback adds context to the timing, although DeAppolonio’s statement attributes the closure to broader financial problems. EG did not identify the partnership outcome as the sole reason for shutting down. Its departure also closes the chapter on an organization that won VALORANT Champions 2023, one of the biggest achievements in its long competitive history. What Happens to Evil Geniuses Players and Staff? EG has allowed every player across its rosters to speak with other organizations immediately. Its VALORANT players and coaches will become free to sign with new teams on November 2, when the 2026 season ends. The organization says it will wind down in an orderly way and work closely with affected players, coaches, and staff throughout the transition. DeAppolonio also asked employers to consider EG’s people for available roles, offering personal recommendations for players, creators, and staff. Helping them find new opportunities over the coming months is now his stated priority. Evil Geniuses Leaves Behind a Championship Legacy Founded in 1999, Evil Geniuses built a history spanning multiple generations of esports. Its biggest achievements include winning Dota 2’s The International 2015, the 2018 Call of Duty Championship, and VALORANT Champions 2023. The immediate focus now shifts to the players, coaches, creators, and staff searching for their next home before EG’s operations end in November.
