According to a synopsis for the book, Manganiello’s health began deteriorating after what he describes as a “cascade of autoimmune-related illnesses” affected his skin, thyroid, eyes, lungs, and digestive system. The actor reportedly suffered chronic pain, multiple medical crises, and a prolonged struggle that left doctors unable to provide clear answers about what was happening to him. The health battle eventually led to a life-saving organ amputation, though Manganiello has not publicly disclosed which organ was removed. In a statement to People magazine, Manganiello reflected on the experience and the toll it took on him. “It was the most brutally difficult time of my life, one I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy, but also my greatest adventure,” he said. The 49-year-old explained that his search for answers eventually extended beyond traditional medicine. After doctors were unable to determine the cause of his illnesses, Manganiello turned to alternative paths that included spiritual exploration, genealogy research, ancient myths, and other unconventional practices. According to Fulton County Jail records, Tigger — whose real name is Darian Morgan — was taken into custody on Saturday and booked on charges of battery and third-degree cruelty to children. He was later released after posting a $10,000 bond. Brown shared photos and videos on social media that appeared to show injuries she allegedly sustained during the incident. According to previous reports, she was later transported to a hospital for treatment. At the time, Morgan strongly denied the allegations. His attorney told TMZ that the claims being made against the radio host were false. Authorities have not confirmed whether the charges filed this weekend stem from the same alleged incident involving Brown. For now, many details remain unclear. She shared that she has been diagnosed with a facial tumor. Though Brandi’s tumor is thankfully benign, that is a technical term for its growth pattern — not for how it impacts her life. In the wrong place, a benign tumor can be potentially fatal. According to Brandi, the tumor has grown “in one of my lymph nodes in my face.” The tumor may be playing a role in her ongoing facial disfigurement battle, which has now been going on for years. “That could be why the fluid is going around my face,” Brandi suggested. She desperately wishes to be able to go back to having a normal life. Well, normal for Brandi, anyway. “I can wear makeup for, like, 15 minutes and then I have to take it off,” she then revealed. Even if she is no longer experiencing tooth-destroying drainage (a symptom that we hope never returns), ‘I haven’t had a facelift yet’ According to Brandi, some doctors had previously dismissed what should have been a tumor diagnosis. She said that they dismissed it as “just scar tissue.” Brandi objected to that theory, asking what may be a very obvious question. “From what?” she asked. “I haven’t had a facelift yet.” Too many, it seems, have assumed that Brandi’s face is a “botched” cosmetic procedure. (Image Credit: YouTube) PHOTO ONE On the Tuesday, June 23 episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Mollen responded to the backlash by joking that her 12-year-old son, Sid, is a “predator.” “If you knew my son, he’s really the predator, not me,” she joked for some reason. “He’s the one who’s f–king all over me,” she continued while speaking to host Amanda Hirsch. “I’ve been trying to lock him out of the bathroom for the last 12 years,” Mollen then joked. She accused, seemingly also in jest: “He just wants my undivided [attention].” Mollen doubled down on the post that landed her in hot water in the first place — the PDA pic with the caption: “Your eldest son will be the most toxic boyfriend you ever have.” She also said that Sid is aware that his mom was trending in a bad way because of it. “He’s like a little spider monkey on me, and I’m in trouble,” she lamented. Mollen continued: “And now he’s like, ‘Get away from me, you molester,’ just to f–k with me.” That is a perfectly fine (and healthy) way for a tween to joke. The issue, however, seems to lie with Mollen’s very public joking without backtracking or, you know, just giving the joke a break. PHOTO THREE Mollen suspects that her recent split from longtime husband Jason Biggs is playing a role in the backlash. “I think if I made this joke a month, or two months ago, it would have played differently,” she suspected. A few months ago, she “was publicly with a man.” Not so in May when she called her son her toxic boyfriend. “And I think that there’s something about a woman who is not attached to a man that somehow reads as a threat, dangerous,” she added. Actually, we cannot rule out that she’s right. But we can say that people who have no idea who she is, and no idea who her ex is, had similar responses to her post to those who do. Joking that Sid is “toxic” is “the joke I’ve been making forever,” she explained. “Like, I’m in this dysfunctional relationship with a guy who’s like, ‘Can you hold my head while I vomit into the toilet?’ ‘Can you give me a full body massage before bed?’ ‘Can you be a dear and put more ice in my water bottle?’ Like, this is the treatment,” Mollen listed. “He’s the dictator,” she joked. “And I live in this autocratic regime where I have to like … it’s like, thumbs up or thumbs down. One of those anchors was, of course, Savannah herself. She said that she has “no comment” officially and is “not involved” in the “coverage” of her mother’s abduction and likely murder, but she cannot “pretend” that she isn’t there. “This is unusual and unprecedented to say the least to be sitting here,” Savannah acknowledged after Liz Kreutz’s coverage. Earlier this year, Savannah was on a hiatus from work when much of her mother’s abduction was covered. Now, she’s back … and her mother’s case remains part of the news. “So since I am I just wanted to take the opportunity to really ask people and really beg people to come forward because somebody knows something,” Savannah expressed. “This is a news story today that is on your radar,” she acknowledged. “But this is the life my sister, [Annie Guthrie], lives, that I live, that my brother, [Camron Guthrie], lives,” Savannah explained. “That our extended families live, that our children live every day.” She went on to say that she and her relatives remain “in agony” over this case. “We cannot be at peace,” Savannah explained. Or, since her split from Brad Pitt in late 2016, her lack thereof. “To be candid, I haven’t dated since I divorced a decade ago,” Angelina shared. “So I kind of get in my head that that aspect of me is not centered in my life if I’m focusing on my children, my family,” she explained. However, she has very recently come to see that she can be a focused mother and date. In Couture, Angelina portrays Maxine, who is a mother — having one daughter. “It took me a second to kind of say, well, she can also love her daughter and be dedicated to her daughter and also need this as a woman and receive this as a woman,” she reasoned. Sometimes, actors portray roles that help them to explore themselves as people. This is not exclusive to the acting profession. Writers and other storytellers do this too, exploring character and not always leaving the experience unchanged. This can be a dark experience for some. On Monday, June 22, Jenny and Sumit provided an Instagram update on her ALS journey, her treatment, and more. “A lot of people sent us a lot of wishes, love and suggestions [about medical care],” Sumit acknowledged. “So thank you so much for your love and support, it means a lot to us.” Jenny chimed in: “And people have been booking Cameos with us!” Cameo allows public figures to create miniature shout-out videos for pay. It can be very lucrative if someone is willing to commit to generating good videos — and if there is sufficient demand. Sumit also thanked fans for donating to the couple’s GoFundMe, which launched in May. He expressed that they feel “very happy to see that much love [shown] for us.” As of Tuesday, June 23, they have already raised over $60,000 of their $250,000 goal. They explained that they had raised their goal this high after speaking to doctors, who warned of the realities of ALS. In his countersuit, Baldoni alleged that Blake used her friendship with Taylor as leverage to gain power over him while the two co-starred the 2024 film It Ends With Us. The legal battle dragged on for months, and insiders say Taylor deeply resented being dragged into the drama. One insider claimed that Taylor was “taking a break from their friendship right now,” adding: “Taylor is really hurt by this whole situation and feels like a pawn.” Another stated that “Taylor wants nothing to do with this whole ordeal. She has always been a loyal friend to Blake and doesn’t appreciate being thrown into this at all.” But once a settlement had been reached, there were reports that Blake and Taylor had decided to try and revive their longstanding friendship. Jill Smokler, the founder of the groundbreaking parenting platform Scary Mommy, has passed away at the age of 48. The bestselling author and mother of three died this week after fighting glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer she publicly revealed in 2024. “It’s with broken hearts that we share that Jill passed away this morning, after a more than two-year fight with glioblastoma. At the time, representatives said the admission was precautionary and that he was expected to recover. If the belief, which lacks evidence, that Sweeney is a supporter of Donald Trump is true, then it would be a bad look to rub elbows with her. But that’s … not really certain. As we have previously pointed out, there is no confirmation of Sweeney and Zendaya having any sort of feud in real life. Did Sweeney flirt with Tom Holland? It’s theoretically possible, but unconfirmed. (Her real-life dating history suggests that she does not really go for handsome, age-appropriate men, so trying to steal a guy from Zendaya sounds out of character.) Additionally, Sweeney’s voter registration as a Republican is a red flag, of course. But it is also from years ago. She hasn’t done enough to distance herself from Trump, and is probably just hoping to avoid any more political backlash than she’s already received. (Photo by Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images) In case our hypotheticals were too vague, the above situation is currently unfolding in Washington, as the Trump administration scrambles to patch up the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool ahead of America’s 250th birthday on July 4. As the deadline approaches, the Reflecting Pool situation is looking increasingly grim — and green. The algae that the administration sought to eliminate — in order to cast the pool in a shade of patriotic blue in time for America’s big day — is still in full bloom. Worse, blue lining that was installed in an effort to attain the desired hue is now peeling and floating to the surface, transforming the pool into a swamp-like eyesore. That might be a result of the large quantities of hydrogen peroxide that have been poured into the pool in order to slow the growth of algae. Whatever the case, the sudden change in the chemical makeup of the pool seems to be impacting the local flora and fauna, as Newsweek and other outlets report that a dead duck was retrieved from the water over the weekend. Unable to ignore the situation any longer, Trump took to his Truth Social platform to … blame everything on his haters. “What these terrible Vandals have done is a true affront to both Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, and should be dealt with accordingly,” Trump wrote in his post, adding: “They took some form of knife or blade, and put a 250 foot long gash into the beautiful facade of what took so much work, competence, and money to build and complete,” he added. “They also poured corrosive and destructive chemicals into the Pool.” Security around the pool is now at an all-time high, and arrests were made over the weekend. One of the detainees was a retired Olympic canoeist named David Hearn. Hearn, 67, told NBC News that he approached the pool in order “to satisfy my curiosity as a citizen of what was happening with all the algae and the peeling blue coating that I’ve been seeing in the news.” “I didn’t remove, tear, rip, break or destroy any of it. The condition of the reflecting pool was the same after I stepped away from the water as it was before I got there,” he continued, adding: “All of a sudden they were handcuffing me behind my back, and they hadn’t really told me what I was charged with.” Comparisons between America in 2026 and the Roman Empire in its final years are almost cliche at this point. Anne got sober so that she could devote all of her time and energy to her kids. By all accounts, she’s a fantastic mom. Of course, this discourse has less to do with Anne than with the never-ending culture wars being waged across the social media landscape. The people who are angry that she’s having a third child aren’t really worried about what Anne’s relationship with her kid will look like in 30 years. More likely, they’re angry about whom she might have voted for in 2024. The experience of an adult child wishing their parents had had them at an earlier age is rare to the point of being nearly non-existent — and the haters likely know that. But that’s not gonna stop them from ranting and raving about the personal choices of someone they’ll never meet. And while we don’t want to get too morbid on a Monday morning, let’s not forget that none of us is guaranteed tomorrow, and having kids at an early age does not necessarily mean you’ll be there when they get married and have kids of their own. Yes, folks, we’re all gonna check out at some point. And while there’s not much to be gained by dwelling on that fact too often, it might be good to occasionally pause and reflect on the fact that there’s no greater waste of our short time on this planet than being cruel to other people for no reason. She continued: “And I would pay it forever rather than have never been your child at all!” “I will never stop missing you,” Kelly affirmed in her caption. This is, notably, her first Father’s Day since Ozzy Osbourne passed away. “It is an honor to spend the rest of my life loving you,” she gushed. That is a reference to Sidney Wilson, Kelly’s son. She and Sid Wilson welcomed Little Sid in 2022. “I just [wish] you were both still here,” Ozzy added. “I really love the both of you and all I want is for the two of you to be happy.” On July 22, 2025, Ozzy Osbourne passed away. The cause of death was a heart attack alongside coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease. He was 76 years old at the time. He had lived a long, wild life. Even before his death, Kelly had begun to make headlines for her alarmingly gaunt features, prompting many to worry about her health as they would if she were posing on the red carpet with an open wound. In an emotional interview with the Daily Mail, Cathy Chase spoke publicly for the first time since Daveigh’s death, describing the devastating moment she learned that her daughter was gone. The grieving mother says she initially struggled to believe the reports were true. “I let out this guttural scream,” she told the outlet, describing a moment of anguish that sent her running into her backyard in disbelief. Daveigh died on June 16 after suffering complications from meningitis and a severe blood infection that led to sepsis and multiple organ failure. She had reportedly been hospitalized earlier this month while battling malnutrition. In the bitter aftermath of Summer House Season 10, Batula turned to Lindsay Hubbard — one of the friends still speaking to her — for comfort. “I’ve made some poor decisions, but … I was in such a s–tty relationship,” Batula insisted. The relationship in question was her marriage to Kyle Cooke. The two only separated in January, by the way. “I just wasn’t me anymore,” Batula protested. “And going out [with West], I felt just … fun again.” Feigning introspection, she claimed: “I think maybe I confused going out with West and falling in love with myself again.” Batula continued, claiming that West was texting and “pursuing” her to hang out. But the amount of sympathy being channeled by viewers in Batula’s direction is way out of proportion. Especially when compared to how some have chosen to view Ciara Miller. Ciara has been called “too harsh” and “mean” for confronting her former best friend on the reunion stage. She showed passion and heartbreak and emotion. Batula also cried, but not over her fallen friendship. On the stage, Batula cried when she felt humiliated over Wilson being with Meija Moreno when the two of them first hooked up. She even left the stage. This was about her — her image, her feelings, her sense of worth. Meanwhile, when anyone, from her castmates to host Andy Cohen, tried to challenge her for being a bad friend, she’d try to wriggle out of the conversation or swap topics or churn out more excuses. Batula wasn’t friendless when West hit her up. She turned down partying with friends because hooking up with West made her feel good, and because it’s what she wanted to do. Earlier this month, Rhode Island officials even attempted to tamp down speculation. Westerly Police Chief Paul Gingerella told TMZ that local authorities had not been involved in any wedding planning connected to Swift and Kelce, a notable detail given the extensive security arrangements that would likely accompany an event of that magnitude. In recent days, guests were reportedly spotted gathering at Swift’s Rhode Island home, leading many to believe some sort of wedding-related event was imminent. Videos and photos circulating online appeared to show increased activity at the property, including heightened security measures.
