Kourt has been a bit reclusive in recent months, but she enjoyed an early spring trip to the ocean. And she even chose to share some glimpses with fans. She saw her chance to roast Kim with a KUWTK callback, and she took it. In the pair of tropical pics, which you can see below, Kourtney is advertising her incredible post-baby body in a bikini. The water is the “crystal blue” of a pleasantly flavored Gatorade. Kourtney Kardashian remains absolutely gorgeous. And she looks like she had fun in the sun. Check out Kourtney’s caption “My diamond earring came off in the ocean and it’s gone,” Kourtney Kardashian wrote on Instagram. Out of context, this sounds like a sad situation. First, because it would be the loss of jewelry. Second, because it is generally unsafe to wear shiny jewelry into the ocean — as it can attract sharks, which are notoriously curious. However, this is a callback to Season 6 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which aired in 2011. Kim Kardashian said those words during an episode while the family vacationed in French Polynesia. After Kourtney Kardashian quoted her sister’s tearful line about a missing earring, momager Kris Jenner chimed in with an Instagram comment that quoted Kourtney herself. Kim lost a $75,000 diamond earring and had a crying meltdown about it. At the time, Kourtney poked her head out of a door, asking about the Kardashian drama. That was when Kourt hit Kim with an amazing line. “Kim,” she coolly advised her younger sister. “There’s people that are dying.” Now, Kris is repeating the quote towards Kourtney. Some ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashian’ moments will always be with us Kourtney’s message to Kim was wise and a healthy dose of reality. But her delivery and the contrast to Kim’s (understandable!) distress made it hilarious. It’s one of those Kardashian family moments that you see even if you’ve never even a minute of the actual show. In fact, we’d go so far as to say that “Kim, there’s people that are dying” is an all-time reality TV line. Much like America’s Next Top Model‘s equivalent, “I just want to tell you that some people have war in their countries.” Is Kourtney Kardashian shading Kim on purpose? Ordinarily, we’d say that this is just a fun, playful callback — along the lines of “don’t be f–king rude” or “it’s what she deserves.” These are iconic family moments that have become enduring memes. So, she dove in the ocean, put on goggles, found it, and then she went back and found the back of it.” Kim announced: “That’s how clear the water is in Bora Bora, so, guys, the earring has been found.” Kourtney Kardashian might be deliberate shading Kim Kourtney and Kim have gotten on each other’s nerves for many years. This is not “normal” sibling squabbling — or, if it is, then there are just a lot of siblings with unhealthy dynamics. With that in mind, it’s possible that Kourt brought this up deliberately. If she knows that Kim’s so over it, her goal may have been to antagonize Kim. But it’s very likely that Kourtney just thought of the callback caption as a playful way to show off her bikini body. In 2022, after months of messy legal wrangling, Kelly Clarkson finalized her divorce from Brandon Blackstock. In 2024, the war still rages on! When things were all said and done, the divorce settlement wasn’t ideal — Clarkson was forced to pay millions to Blackstock — but at the time, at least she could say it was all over with. In March 2024, Kelly filed a fresh lawsuit against her ex-husband and former manager Brandon Blackstock. She claims in the motion that Brandon and his father Narvel Blackstock’s management firm, Starstruck Entertainment, violated labor laws since the beginning of their relationship with Clarkson, which started in 2007. Clarkson alleges in the lawsuit that Starstruck “was not licensed as talent agents” and argues that the firm never “obtained a talent agency license from the California Labor Commissioner.” To put in plainly, Kelly’s legal team is claiming that because Brandon and his family weren’t licensed talent agents, all the money they received while working for her, “including, but not limited to, any and all commissions, fees, profits, advances, producing fees, or other monies,” should be returned. How much could that even be?! This comes just months after a California agency ordered him to repay the singer over $2.6 million. Kelly won that previous lawsuit – though Brandon is appealing – with the courts ruling her ex must pay back millions of dollars for fees he took out of her work on The Voice, the Billboard Music Awards and other projects. Oh, you thought the divorce was settled? Not by a long shot! In fact, this divorce may continue to be complicated for many, many years to come. Kelly and Brandon tied the knot in 2013, ushering in a new era fro the American Idol singer. While they were married, the couple welcomed two children: daughter River Rose and son Remington Alexander. But the romance wasn’t meant to last. Kelly filed for a divorce in 2020 – and that’s where all the trouble started. Almost immediately, Brandon and the Starstruck company sued Kelly for unpaid commissions. Then, as the divorce stretched on, Brandon made demands for everything from property to millions of dollars. The Divorce Settlement In 2022, after two years of contentious legal battle, Kelly and Brandon agreed to a divorce settlement. On the family side of things, they agreed to joint legal custody of their children, with Kelly obtaining primary custody. Court documents revealed that Kelly was on the hook to pay monthly spousal support payments of $115,000 through Jan. 31, 2024, as well as $45,601 in child support monthly until the children reach 18. On top of all that, she was required to pay her ex-husband a one-time payment of $1,326,161. But the divorce settlement only settled that – their divorce. Their lives were so intertwined, as he acted as her manager, that the legal waring continues, as mentioned above. And honestly, we don’t see it ending ANY time soon. (Getty) Will Kelly Clarkson Ever Marry Again? “No. I never wanted to get married the first time,” Kelly admitted in an interview with PEOPLE after her divorce was finalized. She how things have panned out for her, we can’t blame her, but it’s interesting that she didn’t even want to lock it down to begin with. As it usually is with situations like this, she did for him. “[Brandon] had children, a religious background, and it was important, I think, for him. But I’ve never been that person. Because I’ve been through a couple divorces in my family, I just don’t like to put any weight on it. It can happen; it doesn’t have to happen. For my kids, I definitely would never even think about it until they’re out of my house.” Kelly Clarkson will not be appearing as a coach on The Voice Season 22. She stepped down from the gig in order to devote more time and energy to her mental health and her children. “I hadn’t had a minute and it’s obviously been a rough couple of years,” Kelly explained in a interview with the Today Show‘s Hoda Kotb at the time. Clarkson explained that over that summer, when she would have been filming blind auditions for The Voice, she was instead spending quality time with her kids in Montana. “The kids were with me, and with their dad,” she said. “It was nice because they usually have to travel a lot because of our separation. Trust us, though, it gets more sordid from there: A source has confirmed to this same outlet that the spouses filed for divorce because Drummond’s mother was having an affair — with the family’s church rector! “It was at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Bartlesville,” the insider told Radar Online. Authorities arrested Morgan Wallen on charges of reckless endangerment and more. Just a few years ago, Country singer Morgan Wallen’s N-word tirade caught the attention of people who’d never heard his music. Unfortunately, he has reportedly pivoted from hurling slurs to hurling chairs. As in an actual physical chair. From a rooftop and onto the street below. That is not only bad behavior, but it’s a crime. Especially since Wallen had the bad luck of allegedly yeeting the chair awfully close to a pair of police. According to a report by Nashville’s local News Channel 5, some officers were standing on Broadway, the location of Chief’s Bar as well as Garth Brook’s new honky tonk. A chair came hurtling down off of the roof and struck the ground in front of them. The officers went into the establishment and spoke to staff members. Reportedly, the Chief’s Bar staff identified Morgan Wallen as the culprit. According to their accounts, he tossed the chair off of the roof and then laughed about it. Authorities arrested Wallen on three counts of reckless endangerment. That applies to the two officers who were reportedly dangerously close to the chair and for the general danger to the public. Additionally, Wallen faces a charge of disorderly conduct. As tends to happen when one throws a chair. Wallen’s bond was set at $15,250. Davidson County Jail released him at around 3:30 AM. In a good-news, bad-news twist, he was already planning to be in Nashville on that date — as he has tour performances on May 2 and May 3 in the city. This is, to say the least, not Wallen’s first brush with controversy. Back in May of 2020, authorities arrested Wallen on disorderly conduct charges and public intoxication charges. To his credit, he made a thorough apology, disavowing the slur and asking fans to not try to defend him. Of course, this news came after Wallen was facing professional consequences. Some question how sincere an apology, however thorough, can be if someone has to apologize for work. And others wonder how much the apology matters, as it’s difficult to understand why he would be hurling slurs in the first place. Most people can probably agree that while hurling a restaurant chair off of a rooftop is a dirtbag move, it would have been worse if it had injured someone. The reason that this is a crime is because doing so requires a reckless disregard for public safety. Truth be told, getting arrested on these charges is still something that Wallen can “come back from” as an entertainer. Rough, dangerous behavior in a bar isn’t okay or excusable, but it’s seldom evil. To many, Morgan Wallen will always be “N-word guy.” Reckless behavior in a bar is more physically dangerous, but is fundamentally more understandable than the use of racist slurs.
