Patti Stanger has made a career out of finding a husband or wife for matchmaking clients. But what about her own love life? Patti is returning to TV after leaving her hit Bravo show, The Millionaire Matchmaker, in 2015. Her new ventute, a CW unscripted series called Patti Stanger: The Matchmaker, airs in April 2024. The last time she shared an update on her love life was in February 2023, when she revealed details about her new boyfriend on the Behind The Velvet Rope podcast. His name is David, a “cute salt and pepper guy,” or so Patti calls him. In truth, we’re not sure what he looks like as he’s never made an appearance on her social media, so far as we can tell. But his looks are what attracted her to him in the first place – namely because she found him on Tinder! “I went on Tinder, and I saw David. He had this cute little picture in Australia (his son lives in Australia) with a kangaroo, feeding a kangaroo,” she explained. She added that it only took 3 dates for David to ask her to be his girlfriend, signaling that he could see things getting serious. Not being afraid of commitment is the first step to marriage, right? David Krause was Patti’s boyfriend for three years, before they split in 2015. Patti met her mortgage banker beau again through online dating, and for awhile, was even sporting a promise ring from him. But the romance wasn’t meant to last and Patti confirmed the split on her website in June 2015. “I wanted to let you know myself – David and I broke up,” she wrote in a lengthy post. Soon after that, she appeared on the Wendy Williams show and talked about the breakup. She admitted then that she has not given up on finding the one. “Now I’m ready to get married, and I’m ready to find the one,” she told Wendy, and she confessed she had a picture in her mind of what he would look like. “I like hot surfer dudes, maybe with a job.” Honestly, who doesn’t? Patti joined forces with Bachelor star Nick Viall to launch the brand new series on the CW. It premieres on April 11, 2024. The series will follow Patti as she helps singles find love while teaching them “the real tools and rules to become the most eligible versions of themselves.” Patti admitted she’s excited to have him along for the ride. “I get a partner with great understanding of relationships, the following of Bachelor Nation and well… he’s easy on the eyes. Quite the package.” The show really sounds like a lot of fun! Per the official logline, “No case is off limits or too difficult for Patti and Nick to crack. Each episode will feature two clients desperate to find love, with Patti and Nick pushing them to face their fears, identify their emotional core, and in the end, emerge ready to find the one. There were times last season when some very cantankerous NFL fans were calling for Taylor Swift to be banned from all league events. They argued that the pop icon was ruining the game with her very presence, as she created a distraction that stole focus from events on the field. As you’re likely aware, Taylor attended numerous Kansas City Chiefs games for the purpose of cheering on her boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce. The gripes were ridiculous, of course, but the NFL is the most dominant force on American television, and when enough fans complain, the powers that be tend to pay attention. And it’s safe to say the NFL never even seriously considered such a move. There are many reasons for this, the first and most obvious being that Taylor hasn’t done anything to merit such a punishment. On Tuesday’s episode of The Valley, viewers learned a little bit more about what led to the recent separation of Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright. As a quick refresher, the couple announced in late February that their marriage of four years was over … although there have since been some questions over the permanence of this split. “Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health,” Cartwright told podcast listeners at the time. Travis, who didn’t have kids then and still doesn’t now, admitted that, as he was single at the time, he’d have to start catching up if he wanted to stay in his mother’s good graces. While Travis has never commented on the joke further, his mother has made sure the world knew just where she stood with her sons. He isn’t immune to speculation and accusations about his current marriage. In recent years, wild rumors have circulated about his relationship with Marjorie Harvey. When Tom Sandoval cheated on Ariana Madix, he did more than just destroy their nine-year relationship — he very nearly ruined her life. At least that’s the claim Ariana made on last night’s episode of Vanderpump Rules. Throughout the show’s current season, the cast has been attempting to arrange peaceful group gatherings involving both Tom and Ariana. This turns out to be a mistake literally every time, but the conflict makes for good TV, so these outings probably won’t be coming to an end anytime soon. The remark comes on the heels of last week’s clash, during which Ariana accused Tom of trying to murder her dog. That may have been a bit of an exaggeration, but Madix was forced to shell out for an expensive procedure after the dog devoured a wooden skewer due to Sandoval’s negligence. In Touch Weekly has gotten a hold of Garrison Brown’s cell phone. On Monday, the tabloid published a shocking feature in which it included numerous photos of the late 25-year old’s device, revealing to readers just what Brown was thinking and saying before taking his own life back on March 4. These messages reveal that Garrison had recently taken a day off of work prior to his suicide… that his family had been very concerned about his mental well-being… and that they tried to reach out to him to help before their biggest nightmare came true. We also get a look at the text message that prompted Garrison’s brother to go check on him, and eventually discover his corpse. Garrison Brown died by suicide at age 25. RIP. The first screen shot shared by this outlet featured sibling Logan asking Garrison to “give me a call when you can,” adding, “Got an off text from ya. In a group chat with people who have worked with the Browns, Garrison responded to a photo of a friendly paintball fight by writing: “I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can’t. (TLC) Garrison was also in contact with one of his roommates before he reportedly died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound and he asked an unknown person to come over. This individual said he/she was “coloring my hair” and turned down the offer as a result. Grace Pauline Kelley, 27, was taken into custody on Friday, April 5, at 5:05 p.m. local time by the Millbrook Police Department, according to the arrest report filed. Wynonna’s daughter was arrested by police after she allegedly exposed her breasts and lower body near a highway, according to local station WSMV 4. While making a commotion on the busy intersection of I-65 and Highway 14, she then sat on the roadside edge and refused to comply with the officer who tried to remove her. She was book for indecent exposure and obstructing governmental operations, and $1k bond was set for her release. In her mugshot, posted on the Millbrook Police Department’s website, Grace is clearly identifiable by the tattoo above her right eye. We insist that they are free to create work without facing online harassment.” The Jamie Lloyd Company put out a statement on Instagram in April of 2024. Citing the racial abuse of a member of the theatrical company’s Romeo & Juliet cast, they condemned this harassment. Unfortunately, through the anonymity of the internet, racists seldom respond well to scolding. Some have even expressed concern that it could make matters worse. Holland’s high profile acting career could contribute to a sort of Streisand Effect — making more racists aware of Amewudah-Rivers and thus painting a larger target on her. Amewudah-Rivers’ public statements have been positive. As we noted, she is a Shakespearean actor, and this is her West End debut as Juliet. Perhaps she is ignoring the bigotry and vitriol. But no matter how well she might be coping with the onslaught of hate, she shouldn’t have to. That’s not on casting agents (or on Tom Holland), but on the monsters who are attacking her. Said photos are heartbreaking. Kody Brown is likely saying something selfish in this scene. (TLC) Now, meanwhile, a new alleged piece of information has leaked about this very sad event. A source — who was at the funeral, we’d have to assume — told The Sun this week that Kody made things awkward and uncomfortable through his attitude and behavior. “Kody was standoffish. On Sunday, country star Morgan Wallen was arrested for throwing a chair off the roof of a Nashville bar. And there’s reason to believe that the incident might have been prompted by news about his ex-fiancee. According to a new report from the Daily Mail, Wallen may have been upset after learning that the ex in question, KT Smith, recently eloped with a man named Luke Scornavacco just five days after the couple announced their engagement. Just a few days after we learned that Blanchard had separated from her husband of about two years, multiple celebrity gossip outlets have confirmed that divorce papers were filed on Monday in Louisiana. “The filing has been sent to the assigned Judge for review and to schedule any hearing dates if necessary,” Annette M. Jonathan Majors has learned his legal fate. And it has left nearly every observer around the globe scratching their heads in befuddlement. A few months after Majors was found guilty of domestic violence — in connection with an alleged fight between him and his former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari — the Marvel actor was sentence on Monday afternoon. Inside of a New York City courtroom, a judge decreed that the star must attend a one-year “in person batterers” intervention program in Los Angeles. Moreover, Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Michael Gaffey ruled that Majors must continue mental health counseling and stay away from Jabbari. There was at least some chance Majors could have been sentenced to up to a year in prison instead. The Challenge returns to MTV in 2024 with host TJ Lavin at the helm, who just a couple of years ago survived a two, terrible accidents on his bike. As fans prepare to watch their favorites compete on newest season of All-Stars, let’s look back at how TJ himself recovered from two insane physical challenges, one that left him in a coma. TJ, a veteran BMX pro dirt jumper, never stopped riding after he segued into hosting, and was still doing incredibly difficult stunts well into his 40s. Cue the summer of 2018, where TJ found himself with a lacerated face and injured knee after a BMX accident in Las Vegas went wrong. On Monday, August 27, via his Instagram Stories, TJ shared a clip of the accident, with the biker missing a jump at a dirt course. T.J. The new jump that I’ve been working on all month, I finally hit it … and overshot it by a lot. Yeah … 41, still having fun.” Thankfully, this time around, he managed to escape major injury. “The CAT scan was negative, no brain problems,” he told his followers. “And the knee came back, no knee problems. So, just little stitches here and there. No worries. Keeping it real.” Within a few hours, he was dischared and sent home and was back on the course before anyone knew it. It’s a marvel he’s still riding on the course at all, give the fact that 8 years earlier, he was in medically induced coma after a similar accident! In October 2010, TJ was critically injured and hospitalized after crashing on a different dirt bikecourse in Las Vegas. In what was billed at the time as his last ride as a professional biker, TJ suffered brain bleeding, a broken wrist and was put into a medically induced coma for 9 days after the accident. Very scary indeed! Thankfully, doctors at the time helped him make a full recovery, though he did have to stay in the hospital for over a month. Video of the crash was shared the following season, to talk about the extent of TJ’s injuries. Did TJ Lavin Suffer Brain Damage? Only a few weeks after he was released from the hospital did TJ return to the set of The Challenge to film the upcoming season. The 21st season was called “Rivals” and was set in Costa Rica. “I wish I could tell you how it felt to walk back out into the show as the host after the brain injury that I had, but I really cannot remember,” TJ admitted on Instagram at the time, via Heavy. He admitted that in the weeks after his traumatic brain injury, he suffered “short term memory loss” among other mental issues. However, as of today, 14 years removed from that incident, and he’s feeling and looking great! You love to see it! Beyonce has made history – AGAIN! – as the first Black woman to come in at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart with her “Act II: Cowboy Carter,” according to Billboard. This coming directly off the cowboy boot heels of Beyonce’s country songs topping the charts immediately after releasing. “Texas Hold ‘Em,” already made history as it’s success made her the first Black woman with a #1 country song. Ever. Clearly, it seems the Beyhive’s vibing with the Queens new sound, but what about true blue country fans? And what about solidly country artists? We’re sad to say there is division on that front, with certain group of people are absolutely fuming that she’s part of the music genre at all. On Tuesday, February 20, Billboard announced that Beyonce’s “Texas Hold ‘Em” has hit the Number 1 spot on the Hot Country Songs chart. Rolling Stone has confirmed the significance — that Beyonce is the first Black woman to top that charge since 1958, when it came into being. Then, after the Cowboy Carter album dropped, Bey made history again, becoming the the first Black woman to come in at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. (Photo Credit: Emma McIntyre/Getty Images for The Recording Academy) Beyonce’s music didn’t premiere without a hitch, though Just a short time after Beyonce’s historic Grammy Awards wins earlier this month, she used a Super Bowl commercial to announce her upcoming album — which arrives in late March of 2024. “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages” dropped immediately onto streaming services. Beyonce announcing new music at the most-watched Super Bowl in history is a very winning combination. Initially, a Country music radio station declined to play Beyonce’s music … even though it is of the genre. The fan outcry from the Beyhive and from music fans alike was intense and very justified. The radio station reversed course, with overwhelmingly positive results. In fact, most other radio DJs have noted that they’d love it if Beyonce’s fans, who are only dipping their toes into the Country music pond for her sake, find that they enjoy other songs of the genre. The album sold 407,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending April 4, according to Luminate. Not bad! Not bad at all! And yet, there is still a fierce debate over whether Beyonce’s album should even be considered country at all! Not Everyone Is A Fan, While Others Defend Beyonce With Their Whole Heart But it’s not just fans who are divided. There are celebs who are at odd over Beyonce’s new music venture as well. The Dukes of Hazzard alum John Schneider whined to fringe-right platform OAN that this is a case of “lefties in the entertainment industry” trying to “seize control” over country music. The has-been actor suggested that Beyonce is “just like a dog in a dog walk park. You know, every dog has to mark every tree, right? So that’s what’s going on here.” Shocking words! But not necessarily surprising words from a man whose most famous work features America’s most notorious symbol of racial hatred on the hood of the show’s “iconic” car. Never mind that this is not Beyonce’s first foray into country, just her first full album. And let’s all just forget the fact that she is from Texas, we guess! But, it’s certainly true that Beyonce’s music covers numerous genres. It is part of why she has such a massive, passionate fanbase. News in mid-February. “The more the merrier,” Lainey Wilson told Extra, as you can see below. “[Country music] is about that storytelling. It’s about making people feel at home. Particularly, during her 2016 hit, Lemonade. Country music isn’t for everyone. Even Beyonce’s music isn’t for everyone. Not vibing with specific tunes can have unsavory causes, but it isn’t inherently racist. But suggesting that Beyonce’s Country songs don’t belong on a Country station? Over the past month or so, the Brown family has been in the news for the most tragic of reasons: Garrison Brown, the 25-year old son of Kody and Janelle, took his own life in early March via a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to authorities in Arizona. It’s all so very sad. Now, meanwhile, we’re hearing that the world may be hearing a lot more from/about the cast members who make up Sister Wives — due to what may be a bombshell memoir. (TLC) According to Mykeltki Brown, via a recent Live Stream on YouTube alongside her husband Tony, a few of Kody’s children have talked about writing a memoir of some kind. “We actually have considered writing a book,” Mykelti told listeners, adding that she got tired of waiting on her brothers and sisters to start the process after this idea was first broached. “I think I honestly gave up waiting to write a book [with my siblings] and that’s one of the reasons we did Patreon.” Mykelti is the fifth child of 18 born to Kody and went on to say that the book may still happen down the line. (TLC) “I do still think some of my siblings debate back and forth about writing a book,” she said. “As far as I know, [none of my siblings] are currently actively writing a book.
