SURPRISE! Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield revealed on the April 22 installment of Seeking Sister Wife that they welcomed a third child into their immediate family… a long time ago. Daughter Leia Lilly Melisa Merrifield was born on May 17 of late year, the unusual couple has now confirmed, speaking with People Magazine about their latest addition. “Leia is such a personality. She is very particular with what she likes and doesn’t like,” the Merrifields tell this publication. Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield in in the confessional last season on Seeking Sister Wives. (TLC) “She makes us all laugh. She is super independent and has been since birth. I prayed she would have her daddy’s beautiful blue eyes and she does.” Added Dannielle: “Pregnancy at 35 is a lot harder than pregnancy at 20, for sure. I had some preterm contractions at about 19 weeks and was hospitalized to get things under control. “It was super scary because I didn’t have any problems in my previous pregnancies with our boys.” The Merrifields have starred for multiple seasons on Seeking Sister Wife. Garrick has not always been the most popular cast member on this show, which centers on plural marriages and expanded family units. He was dragged hard a few years ago after it certainly seemed as if he just wanted a second spouse so he could have sex with more than one woman. “We decided two years ago that God wanted us to live a plural lifestyle,” Garrick said on the Seeking Sister Wife Season 3 premiere. After praying about it awhile back, she said on air that she “realized bringing a sister wife into mine and Garrick’s relationship means my children gain another mother figure, and I think we all gain a little more love in our lives as well.” That’s one way to look at it, we suppose. The Merrifield are parents to a pair of sons on top of their new daughter. “As everyone knows, it’s crazy how fast time goes by,” Dannielle also told People. “It’s insane that she’s almost one year old and about to start walking! She doesn’t live in the U.K., but the backwards libel laws could still be a problem if she worked in or traveled to beans-on-toast island. Probably much safer to avoid identifying the royal. The royal family is vast, and most members of the line of succession are not names that normal people know off of the tops of their heads. That list has also changed significantly since 2014 (some of the current people in the Top 20 weren’t born or were children at the time), and we don’t know if she refers to the 2024 or to the 2014 line of succession. To be clear, Rebel isn’t directly accusing the unnamed royal family member of any wrongdoing. Not in these excerpts, anyway. MDMA is illegal under the United States’ embarrassing war on drugs, but not immoral. And orgies aren’t even illegal, let along harmful. Might the ice be thawing between Jim Bob Duggar and his children? We can’t say for certain at this time. But we’re guessing plenty of celebrity gossip followers out there are well aware that the father of 19 doesn’t see his kids very much these days. Not after Josh Duggar was found guilty of child pornography possession and then Jill Duggar dragged the f–k out of her parents as part of an Amazon documentary. Will Matt Roloff and Zach Roloff ever mend fences? With Little People, Big World‘s cast departures, the family feud hasn’t just torn apart the Roloffs but also their show. Zach acknowledges that, in time, maybe he and his dad will have an easier relationship. But he also admits that things will never be what they were. Jackson, Lilah, and Josiah will — for better or for worse — have different lives than their parents had. Zach and Matt Roloff had a famous falling out when Matt, after years of leading on his sons with the idea that they would one day run the farm, put a portion of the family farm for sale. This shattered Zach’s dreams — for himself and for his family. While twin brother Jeremy had already given up on the idea, it was a tough pill to swallow for Zach. Now, however, Zach says that it’s not anger holding him back from visiting the farm where he grew up. But he has moved on — and has his own life with his wife and children. Interestingly, Kimmel had included mention of The Tortured Poets Department during his opening monologue. Yet he didn’t dare broach the subject when Kim sat down for an interview. Instead of talking about the topic that was actually on the minds of viewers, Kimmel instead spoke about Kim’s life and business. They discussed how Kim grew up as Madonna’s neighbor. And they talked about Kim’s “ultimate nipple bra,” which she unveiled in 2023. We’re sure that these were comfortable topics for Kimberly. But it was not one of Kimmel’s better interviewers, and had critics comparing him to Jimmy Fallon. To be clear, that’s an insult. The emphasized letters spell out “KIM.” Once fans picked up on the lyrics, the song really took off. Taylor sings about a “bronze” and “spray-tanned” high school bully by the name of Aimee. This fictional character is someone whom her mother “wish[es] were dead.” In the lyrics, that is. Why would Taylor take aim at Kim? Well, that feud is actually pretty easy to explain. In 2016, when Taylor was already precariously overexposed, Kanye West released “Famous,” a song in which he referred to Taylor as “that bitch.” Taylor didn’t like that. Her fans didn’t like that. But Kim released a conspicuously edited audio recording of a phone call, presenting it as “proof” that Taylor had given the go-ahead for the song. Janelle Brown has an update for her fans and followers. On Sunday, the veteran Sister Wives star revealed via Instagram the plan for her son’s beloved pet cats… about seven weeks after Garrison Brown died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. “Garrison’s cats, Catthew and Patches are thriving at Logan [Brown] and Michelle’s place and Ms. Boots is living her best life with Aspyn [Brown] and Mitch,” Janelle wrote. “It was awesome that we could continue to take care of them like he would.” Garrison Brown and mother Janelle on Sister Wives. (TLC) For the record: Logan, 29, was Garrison’s older brother… while Aspyn, 29, whose mom is Christine Brown, was his half-sister. Garrison took his own life on March 4. The 25-year old was an active member of his community when it came to rescue animals and working with shelters around the Flagstaff, Arizona area. According to a new report from The New York Post, Kate and her family will mark the special occasion with “private party” on Tuesday. Under normal circumstances, the party would likely be a more public affair. But insiders say the royals plan to make Louis’ big day just “as normal and as much fun” as any of his previous birthdays. Tragic news today out of the world of music and entertainment: Chris King (real name: Christopher Cheeks) was shot and killed in Nashville, Tennessee on April 20 in a incident that left others wounded, police confirmed in a press release late Monday. He was 32 years old. Chris King is dead at the very young age of 32. RIP. (Instagram) The musician — who was close friends with Justin Bieber, Machine Gun Kelly, Keke Palmer and Trippie Redd, — was in an alley with acquaintances when were shots fired in the downtown region of this city. Via the aforementioned press release, authorities said a man approached King and tried to rob him. “The [surviving] 29-year-old victim reported the group was hanging out cordially for some time before the three suspects attempted to rob his group of friends,” police said. “It was then that he heard gunfire and realized he was struck.” Gunfire soon broke out… and King was eventually found in the parking garage of the Hayes Street Hotel. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he passed away. Growing up in a homophobic society is extremely damaging, and he saw that everyone, including in the media that he watched. “The majority of gay people were either the butt of jokes, or being caught in sexual acts and considered deviants, or they were committing suicide, or they were dying of AIDS,” Bailey recalled accurately of LGBTQ+ representation. In some ways LGBTQ+ youth who are currently teens may face more acceptance. But they are also the targets of nationwide hate campaigns by political opportunists. Homophobic parents of kids Bailey’s age might not have suspected their child of being anything other than cis and straight, while LGBTQ+ youth born 15 years or so after Bailey may have faced the downside of increased community visibility. Audiences are lucky to have Jonathan Bailey (and so is his partner) Amidst the increasingly watered down and often removed sex scenes in film and television, Bailey and Matt Bomer brought a lot of horny authenticity to their performances in Fellow Travelers. Late on Sunday, the veteran Sister Wives star shared a lengthy post in Instagram in tribute to her wedding anniversary to Kody Brown. Yes, I know full well that we are a very polarizing topic.” Indeed, Meri garnered a great deal of backlash for sticking with Kody — long after they stopped having sex and long after Kody made it clear he was done with Meri as a romantic partner. She shared how painful her journey has been since being diagnosed with Stiff Persons Syndrome and how the diagnosis has not only affected her, but everyone in her orbit. Like the fans who loved to watch her on stage. “People always came to see me sing,” Celine said. “And that, for me, was the proof that I was, and that I am, truly a singer. The sexy cover shoot and intimate interview came just 2 months after she made a surprise appearance at the Grammys. It also comes just ahead of the debut of her new documentary, sharing her unfiltered struggle with SPS. And the struggle is real. “I haven’t beat the disease,” Celine shared in the Vogue interview. “It’s still within me and always will be. I hope that we’ll find a miracle, a way to cure it with scientific research, but for now I have to learn to live with it.” Living with it entails undergoing “athletic, physical and vocal therapy” no less that 5 times a week. She works on everything from the movement for her fingers to controlling her voice. She a woman as vivacious as Celine, the diagnosis was a huge shock. “At the beginning I would ask myself: why me? How did this happen? What have I done? Is this my fault?” she admitted. Either I train like an athlete and work super hard, or I switch off and it’s over, I stay at home, listen to my songs, stand in front of my mirror and sing to myself. I’ve chosen to work with all my body and soul, from head to toe, with a medical team. I want to be the best I can be.” We’d expect nothing less! As you can see in the video below, he slipped on a fan’s phone. You know the recent, bizarre trend of crazed fans throwing their actual phones onto the stage? Well, phones are flat and smooth and slippery. Being no stranger to stumbling and falling on stage, Country singer Luke Bryan got back up. He laughed off the incident and tossed the phone back to the fan. No hard feelings? “It’s okay,” he said on stage. Madison Brown Brush is really going through it these days. For a really understandable and tragic reason. The Sister Wives star lost brother Garrison to a self-inflicted gunshot wound back on March 4, a truly shocking and horrifying development… the impact from which will be felt for years to come. In a new Instagram post, Maddie doesn’t mention Garrison by name. Garrison talks to the cameras during an episode of ‘Sister Wives’ (TLC/Youtube) But she delves into some recent emotions that one must assume are linked to the suicide. “This past November, I embarked on a month-long journey of gratitude, driven by my curiosity about its profound effects on our well-being,” wrote the daughter of Janelle Brown last week. “The insights I gained were nothing short of astounding, revealing how a simple practice could significantly alter our emotional landscape.” Maddie then said she’s bee “holding onto a lot of anger — feeling it gnaw at me day after day.” She continued in her post as follows: “It’s becoming a heavy load to carry, and I’m starting to feel ready for a change. “I’m not quite ready to commit to another month of focused gratitude or to completely let go of my anger yet. “However, I am ready to wake up without that immediate sense of irritation and to not let anger color my entire day. It seems that cultivating a softer heart could be the first step, and gratitude feels like the right tool for this.” Garrison Brown and his mother, Janelle, on Sister Wives. Tori opened up about how fans often why she’s not a Real Housewife. It’s a fair question. According to her, she spoke about it with Andy Cohen in person — and that he’d sort of nipped that idea in the bud. She described: “He was like, ‘Yeah, we keep getting this question.'” So she gets the question and so does Bravo. “And I’m like, ‘So, Andy, what’s the answer?’” Tori narrated. “He was like, ‘Ehh, I don’t know. It’s unclear when this chat took place. “I go, ‘Every single one of them I am friends with and have known forever and have a history,’” she asserted. Tori then noted: “But whoa, whoa, whoa, wasn’t I the OG Beverly Hills? I don’t understand.” In addition to starring on Beverly Hills 90210, Tori also grew up as the scion of the extremely wealthy Aaron Spelling. There was one obvious potential explanation for why Andy Cohen (and others at Bravo) never cast her on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. “What I really want to say to him, and I’m a little passive aggressive, so I’m like, ‘Huh! All the fans ask, Andy, so I don’t know, whatever that’s fine,’” Tori admitted. Admitting her suspicion to listeners, Tori confessed: “What I wanted to say is, ‘Uh, is it ’cause I’m broke? Long before Tori and Dean’s divorce, one of the defining aspects of their marriage was financial troubles. They share five children, and financial struggles — despite Tori’s mother’s fortune — certainly contributed to many of their relationship issues over the years. We have to note that not all Real Housewives are rich. Sure, Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards are loaded. Gina Kirschenheiter famously worried that she was joining as the “poor” Housewife. However, RHOBH tends to have more glitz than other shows on the franchise. And many of the wealthiest Housewives dwell in Beverly Hills. We’re not saying that Tori should move to another city in the hopes of becoming a Bravolebrity … but if she did, it might improve her chances. Kim Kardashian once made the mistake of starting a feud with Taylor Swift. And now, years later, she’s experiencing the wrath of the Swifties. Yes, as you’ve no doubt heard by now, Taylor released her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, last week. Yeah, it seems that Taylor wanted to make sure the whole world would know that the song’s scathing lyrics are targeted at her longtime rival Kim Kardashian. Very early Taylor of her! The Kim Kardashian vs. Taylor Swift Feud Rages On Kim and Taylor have been feuding since about 2016. The song features Taylor lashing out at a hometown bully who’s an obvious stand-in for Kim. Well, perhaps the imagery wouldn’t have been quite so clear if it weren’t for that title, but as it is, there’s no doubt Taylor is settling a score with an equally famous woman who once pretended to be her friend, only to betray her publicly. Swifties got the message loud and clear, and according to a new report from Us Weekly, tens of thousands of them have now unfollowed Kim on social media. In fact, the outlet claims that Kim has lost an astonishing 120,000 followers since the release of Taylor’s album. Why you being quiet. Work that magic on this TayTay drama, girl,” wrote one fan in her comment section, according to Us Weekly. “Me just waiting for Kris to spin this Taylor beef into a new Skimms collection or something. Joy-Anna Duggar is not in a good place at the moment. The former reality star gave birth to her third child back in May 2023, with husband Austin Forsyth breaking the blessed piece of news on social media at the time as follows: “He’s here! Thank you all for praying … Mama and baby are recovering well.” Joy-Anna Duggar appears here way back in the day on Counting On. (TLC) Joy-Anna and Austin are also parents of a 5-year-old son named Gideon and and a 3-year-old daughter named Evelyn. They suffered a miscarriage in 2019. Now, meanwhile, Duggar has used the couple’s YouTube channel to admit that she is suffering from postpartum depression; now for the first time, either. But this this feels unlike those past times. (TLC) “I figured I’d just share the things that I’m struggling with,” The Counting On alum said in this footage. “This postpartum has been a lot harder than my past postpartums.” Duggar has seen a physician to help her deal with such physical and mental health problems. “She said, ‘I definitely think that you are struggling with some post-partum depression’,” the TLC personality explained. The mother of three went on to say that her doctor took a full lab panel and found out that she was low on a number of vitamins. “There’s also been the mental side of things that I’ve been really battling and I’ve never had to battle something quite like this,” Joy-Anna confessed. But should she be, based on how she feels at the moment? How she has often felt after becoming a mother? Unfortunately, however, Joy-Anna has received a great deal of flak for perceived parenting mistakes over the last several months. If they have any sense of decorum or good manners or are simply sympathetic people, they will absolutely back off.
