Morgan Wallen would like your attention. The country music superstar was arrested earlier this month after chucking a chair off of the rooftop of a bar in Nashville, Tennessee. As bad luck, and poor decision-making, would have it… the chair landed on the sidewalk close to this establishment — and also close to a pair of police officers. Authorities proceeded to arrest Wallen on three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct. I’m not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility. “I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe. Regarding my tour, there will be no change.” Indeed, the arrest came just days after Wallen embarked on the latest leg of his One Night at a Time world tour. He went ahead and performed on Saturday night at the Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi. Also, in 2020, he was arrested on public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges after being kicked out of Kid Rock’s bar in downtown Nashville. But there’s been speculation that Wallen was angry at the time over his former fiancee getting married. Savannah Chrisley is trying to be optimistic. About her family’s future, but also about their reality TV careers. Following her parents’ incarceration, Savannah Chrisley has balanced raising the alarm about prison conditions with having to become a parent to her brother and niece. In a new interview, Savannah opened up about what this new reality has been like. She also expressed her hopes that a future reality series will showcase her parents’ homecoming. She’s not suggesting that she wants to see them pull off a dramatic escape. Instead, she’d like to see her parents win their appeals. To that end, there has been some relatively good news. In 2023, the Chrisleys scored an appeals win of sorts, with the court agreeing to hear oral arguments. That’s a complex topic. Not everyone wants that — including people who object to the sentences that Todd and Julie have received. We don’t know much at all beyond that it’s through Scout Productions. The network, release date, and more were not part of the announcement. If the show is going to follow Savannah’s role as guardian to her teen brother and tween niece, that could see a real audience. Especially as Todd and Julie’s predicament weighs down upon the family. Similarly, though they are victims of our deeply flawed carceral system, they are not sympathetic victims. That means that some people don’t feel sorry for them at all. And others don’t necessarily want to see them receive another reality series, even if their sentences ended tomorrow. At the same time, those who would like to see this new reality series happen point out that it would likely center upon Savannah and other Chrisleys, not Todd or Julie. They are not their parents. This is a huge time for Taylor’s career. And, in between football seasons, this is a major time for Travis. So why are they thumbing their noses at the Met Gala instead of showing up together? That’s not quite the same as Taylor turning it down for both of them. As previously reported, tragedy struck the world of music and entertainment this week. On Thursday, Mandisa was found dead inside of her home in Nashville, Tennessee. A contemporary Christian singer who advanced to the top 10 on American Idol on Season 5 and who won a Grammy Award for her 2013 album “Overcomer,” Mandisa was 47 years old. At this time we do not know the cause of death or any further details,” a social post that confirmed the sad news read yesterday. “We ask for your prayers for her family and close knit circle of friends during this incredibly difficult time. “Mandisa was a voice of encouragement and truth to people facing life’s challenges all around the world.” As you can see above, no cause of death has been determined or announced; while an investigating by local police is underway. And one The Tortured Poets Department track in particular sounds like it’s all about Travis. Mama Kelce sure seems to like it. And how could she not? That said, some fans think that they hear a reference to one of Taylor’s most infamous exes. However, some Swifties are dismissing the obvious explanation … and zeroing in upon a different detail. This could point to a different man with whom Taylor spent time in 2023. It’s possible that Taylor’s line is a jab at someone else, indicating how refreshing Travis is. But that might be a stretch. It doesn’t have to be about anyone else. Many people have characterized the Church of Scientology as a “cult.” But this vague, incendiary term is not especially helpful, and its meaning can change dramatically over time. Rather than use such a loaded term, some countries just don’t recognize it at all. Some decline to classify Scientology as a religion and while others just turn a blind eye, giving it no characterization at all. He also spoke to Page Six on this matter. “Suri is not a Scientologist and never will be,” Rinder affirmed. “She deserves love and sympathy.” It is possible that Suri could speak out about Scientology and its effect on her family. It may be the end of a massively successful era at Bravo. According to In Touch Weekly, Andy Cohen may soon be parting ways with the cable network… in the wake of dwindling ratings for a number of programs, along with a number of controversies swirling around the mega producer. “Negotiations for Cohen’s departure package are underway as he grapples with the fallout from mounting accusations by his stars,” said a tabloid source this week. Back in February, Brandi Glanville accused Cohen of inappropriate behavior. In a letter, the star alleged that an “inebriated” Cohen sent Glanville a video message awhile back stating of “his intention to sleep with another Bravo star that night while thinking of her and invited her to watch via Facetime.” The letter went on to say that the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star felt “trapped” and “disgusted” due to the nature of Cohen’s exchange. It names Cohen, Bravo Media, NBC Universal Media, Warner Bros. Discovery, Shed Media US and three producers… and it claimed that these defendants were responsible for unsafe workplace environment, one in which employees experienced pressure to consume alcohol. McSweeney went on to accuse of producers discriminating against her history of alcoholism and mental health struggles by “intentionally planning scenarios intended to exacerbate [her] disabilities.” Their alleged goal, she wrote? But now we have confirmation — oh, and we also have A LOT of new Taylor Swift music! “So here’s the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs,” concluded Swift on social media. ‘And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours.” Swift had often held up two fingers in the past during public appearance, doing so, for example, on stage at the Grammy Awards in February. Astute followers knew this wasn’t a mere peace sign from the artist; they suspected that she was leaving them a clue as to what she had planned. It begins! The Tortured Poets Department album is finally here. Taylor Swift’s 11th album finally dropped, and fans are basking in the glow of her alternative sound and deep cut lyrics. The title track of the album is getting a lot of attention: from the name drop of Charlie Puth to the easter eggs about Matt Healy. But there are two other names mentioned in The Tortured Poets Department lyrics that fans may not be as familiar with. Unlike more recent smear campaigns following celebrity divorces, it was alarmingly successful. But the longer that Pitt and Jolie continue to butt heads in court over, among other things, that one French vineyard, the more grim revelations will continue to emerge. None of them cast Pitt into a positive light. Between that and how some of his own children despise him, the legal struggle is not helping Pitt’s public image.
