At first, she was preparing for the removal of her ovaries. That was already hard. Then, she learned that it would be better if she underwent a full hysterectomy. Losing her uterus hit her hard. Kris has six children. She has spoken about how much she loved being pregnant. And while pregnancy would be a non-starter regardless, there’s an emotional component to this. The first is that Kris misunderstood a fact about egg development, suggesting that she made True Thompson when she gave birth to Khloe. That is a goofy mom-ism if we’ve ever heard one. The second is that, according to Khloe, Kourtney “eats placenta all the time.” Kourt has given birth to four kids, so either Khloe was exaggerating or Kourtney’s sourcing placenta from other places. That sentence will haunt us for life. (Notably, she had this conversation in the early evening the day before her 6AM surgery. He bid farewell last month. In his place, producers have hired Ryan Seacrest, who is trying to play a role on every show that has ever aired in the history of television… but we’re now hearing that he’s off to a rough start. Specifically, Seacrest is allegedly not getting along well with co-host Vanna White. If you believe a new report in Life & Style, that is. Kim has quite a number of social media followers and while she’s often been criticized for lacking any real talent… how much talent is necessary to flip over the letters in a Wheel of Fortune puzzle? So this is conceivable, we suppose, but also a bit of a stretch. We’re not sure why it’s relevant, either. But the same can not be said of Steven during the regular play. The Duggars are about to face their worst nightmare. Ok, fair enough. In actuality, the family has already faced its worst nightmare, considering oldest sibling Josh previously admitted to cheating on his wife and molesting his sisters, causing the clan’s TLC reality show to be canceled years ago. They’re all truly scared of him and what he’s capable of — even from behind bars!” Josh doesn’t speak to any of his siblings at this point. For years now, we’ve been hearing rumors that Stephen Wissmann is Jana Duggar’s secret boyfriend. The first reports that Stephen and Jana were courting arrived back in 2021. George Clooney is calling for President Biden to step aside in favor of a new nominee for the 2024 election. And he’s not alone. Despite being one of the many famous faces to endorse President Biden in the past — and even very recently — he has also seemed to grow skittish following the first Presidential debate of the season. Biden’s 2024 reelection bid is a complex decision, for him and for America. It is also a vital one. Particularly as the grim specter of disgraced former president Donald Trump extends across the nation. Just last month, Clooney was co-hosting Biden fundraisers. As a vice president and as president. I consider him a friend, and I believe in him.” He then elaborated: “Believe in his character. Believe in his morals. Ironically, Stephanopoulos, was approached a day earlier by a stranger in NYC and asked for his thoughts on President Joe Biden’s fitness for office. “I don’t think he can serve four more years,” candidly replied the ABC News anchor, who had just sat down with Biden a few days earlier for his first on-camera television interview following the CNN presidential debate. “Was he tired? Yes. A cold? Maybe. He highlighted his concern about how this is about more than the Oval Office. This is about retaking the House, about retaining the Senate — vitally important in holding the line. And then there are state legislatures and governor races, all of which could fall victim to feckless, easily swayed voters who would let hand-wringing pundits or their own general lack of enthusiasm sway their votes — or prevent them from voting at all. And, of course, his fear that America cannot win in November with Biden at the helm. That’s likely true during this present news cycle. The fact that corporate media grows bored with a topic and moves on to something else is both a blessing and a curse. Ultimately, Clooney may be right or wrong. Come a Second Term Biden or a new nominee, come victory or bitter defeat, there will be no end of hindsight arguments and “told you so” arguments. Squabbling is, as always, inevitable and self-defeating. Also on Wednesday, Michael Douglas appeared as a guest on The View. Though he was not there to address the (very new at the time) op ed, he did weigh in on George Clooney’s argument. “This is such a tough one. I adore the guy. Fifty years of public service, a wonderful guy, and this just happens to be one of these elections that’s just so crucial,” Douglas remarked. Last month, Jason Duggar introduced his new girlfriend to the world in an unexpected way. He shared photos of himself and his partner on the beach. (TLC) It was surprising, and some fans didn’t really know what to make of the pseudo-reveal. But it’s a safe bet that Jason’s parents preferred that post to the one he shared earlier this week. As far as we know, there’s no specific rule prohibiting that type of transportation. But considering single Duggars aren’t even allowed to go on unchaperoned dates, we’re guessing piggyback rides do not receive the Jim Bob seal of approval. Many have pointed out that with her shorts that stop several inches above the knee, Maddie is also violating the Duggar dress code. (Duggar women are required to dress “modestly” — usually in floor-length skirts — at all times.) One Reddit user even went so far as to superimpose a skirt over Maddie’s legs. “I found Jason’s photo with his girlfriend a little too revealing, so I fixed it Jana style,” the Redditor joked. Meri Brown has traded her Sister Wives life for a haunted house! Or so we’re told We all know how Meri Brown is doing on a personal basis these days: She’s trying. The veteran Sister Wives cast member split from spiritual spouse Kody Brown in January 2023 and has since made an effort to tell folks that she’s looking forward to the future. She’s forging a new path, Meri might say. As part of that, Meri moved back to her native state of Utah shortly after terminating her marriage and reportedly into Lizzie’s Heritage Inn, the bed and breakfast she has owned there for years. Here’s the thing, though: Scared face! (TLC) Meri Brown’s Bed & Breakfast Is Haunted! It turns out, there are funny rumors about the house she lives and rents out. Spooky, scary rumors! “Guests have told Meri and the manager, Jenn, that the inn was haunted,” a source told The Sun late last week. “Like, they would hear spooky noises and claim that ghosts are living there. “It’s not like something bad would happen – it’s just a freaky thing and coincidence that dead people are on the wall.” Brown opened Lizzie’s Heritage Inn in December 2017; it had been her old family home, which was occupied by four generations until it was sold in the 1980s. The dead people referenced above consist of portraits of some of the former owners, including Bonnie, Meri’s mother who helped run the inn and who passed away in 2021. “It is actually creepy to go to sleep in one of the rooms and have a late person’s photo on the wall stare at you,” writes The Sun. In October 2023, Janelle Brown stayed in the establishment despite concerns that apparitions existed within its walls, but she too was not visited. “It’s a wonderful place. I’m glad we stayed. I didn’t see a ghost, for the record,” Janelle said on an episode of Sister Wives. A year later, however, it seemed that Meri finally encountered one of the famed ghouls living in her inn. Meri posted the above photo of herself and her friend Jen enjoying a night at home, when an intruder interrupted their evening. Amid the cobwebs and spiders set up for Halloween, a young girl in a white dress, photobombed the pair covering her face with her hair as she stared blankly at the camera. “Beware the little ghosts and goblins that drop in to @lizzies_heritage_inn,” Meri captioned the post. Of course, we jest. This is just Meri leaning into the ghost stories – as all owners should! Who doesn’t love a haunted house! Meri’s Doing Well For Herself Despite the alleged haunting, the inn has a 4.5 star rating on Google and has received five stars on Tripadvisor and Yelp. This is good, as Meri counts on the inn to help support herself in this new chapter of her life. Along with the inn, in 2024 she launched a lifestyle brand called Worthy Up. It remains in development, as does the upcoming season of Sister Wives, which she will appear in, and perhaps a memoir that will likely detail everything her life with the Brown family. At the time, she shared nothing about the project — leaving fans to pour through her trademark applications for clues. American Riviera Orchard will, according to these documents, sell home decor and household goods such as kitchen items. That means decanters, napkin rings, utensils, table linens, and full-fledged cookbooks. Then there are also edible goods, like jams, marmalades, veggie-based spreads, nut-based spreads, nut butters, and fruit butters. As you can see, Meghan Markle’s new company’s Instagram page currently features one of those seemingly-obligatory composite image grids. A lot of companies use these designs when launching a company, especially before they’re ready to go live with the actual products. However, it seems that American Riviera Orchard takes its name from Meghan and Harry’s Santa Barbara home. The areas surroudning the coastal city is known as the American Riviera. As for the “Orchard” part, it’s an illustrative name that also refers to the amount of fruit involved in the products. Particularly when it comes to the jams, jellies, and preserves. Alec Baldwin has a high-priced lawyer. More than one, actually. And looks like he’s going to need them. Despite some previous good news for him, Alec Baldwin is not yet in the clear in the Rust shooting case. Baldwin’s shooting trial is underway, beginning with voir dire before (optimistically) Wednesday’s opening statements. Meanwhile, the embattled actor may be paying a tremendous amount for his defense. The gun discharged, resulting in injury to director Joel Souza and the tragic death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Baldwin has pleaded not guilty to the charge of involuntary manslaughter in connection to her death. He has stated that he did not pull the trigger or know that the gun contained live ammo. Her defense argued that she became a scapegoat for issues beyond her control. In March, she received a conviction for involuntary manslaughter over Hutchins’ tragic death. She is serving an 18-month sentence while appealing. The judge has denied her immunity to testify, meaning that she will be unable to answer certain questions as a witness at Baldwin’s trial without potentially incriminating herself. And, of course, that the court cannot compel her to answer certain questions (thank you, Fifth Amendment). In 2023, he represented entrepreneur Charlie Javice as the founder of the student loan company, Frank, faced charges of fraud and conspiracy. According to People, court documents from that case showed that Spiro charged Javice $2,025 per hour to represent her. That is an expensive lawyer, even by legal standards. Ultimately, Javice did not have to pay — in 2023, a court ruled that JP Morgan (who had brought suit against her) had to cover her hefty attorney fees. However, it does not have an official release date, but knowing the streamer as we do, fans won’t have to wait too long. The first season of Perfect Match aired on Valentine’s Day 2023. A year later, on June 7, 2024, the second season premiered. Seems likely that it will take at most a year to turn the next season around then. So, it’s a wait, but not like Bridgerton season 4 or, for heaven’s sake, Stranger Things season 5, which are both AGES away from being finished. ‘Perfect Match’ Season 3 Cast: Could A.D. We’ve noted that Dean had — according to an alleged mutual friend — realized that “nothing he ever does will be good enough for her.” “Dean has changed and worked very hard to be the husband she needed him to be,” the insider told The Daily Mail. “But she is still demanding and entitled,” the source griped. “Nothing he does or has done will ever be good enough for her.” But, after 17 years of marriage, this was about more than just Tori wanting flowers and romantic gestures from her husband. “For a very long time Tori used their marital problems to stay relevant,” the insider reported. “Everyone knew about their issues,” the source pointed out. “And she didn’t play it down, she played it.” The insider then described Tori as “even going so far to go outside where she knew paparazzi were waiting holding papers that were a clear indication of a divorce.” The Breaking Point This was during those tumultuous months of 2021. (“Stitches” allow people to add to or offer rebuttals to existing videos) The original video showed TikTok denizen @emgwaciedawgie saying: “I love when I see a lesbian with their boyfriend. It’s like ‘Aww, you hate that man. You literally hate him.’” That commentary referred to closeted lesbians or lesbians who may be in denial about their sexuality. In our deeply homophobic society, it is very normal for people to attempt going through the motions of cishet compliance before feeling free to be themselves. In Julia Fox’s stitched response, she faces the camera and says: “Hey, that was me. I was that lesbian. So sorry, boys. Won’t happen again.” Obviously, she does not owe anyone an apology. The social pressures to feign heterosexuality cause many people to date without attraction — and she may have earnestly not realized that she was not attracted to men. The funny part of this is the implication that she loathed Kanye West. It doesn’t excuse dating him, but it is funny. As of now, only rumblings of who will be doing the rumba in Season 33 have surfaced, but there is some strong contenders being discussed by people in the know. Who will compete? Within the fan community, there are quite a few names being tossed around for competitors this coming season. Some are keen to see Jesse McCartney. For starters, she had to meet 25 people and remember their names! On top of that, she was tasked with the difficult job of eliminating seven contestants at her very first rose ceremony. What’s the story with Brandi Passante and Jarrod Schulz’s divorce? The former Storage Wars couple broke up years ago, keeping it quiet — at first. Obviously, Storage Wars viewers aren’t shocked at the news. Their on-screen dynamic didn’t exactly seem lovey-dovey. But how did their breakup happen? What are the divorce details? Storage Wars couple Jarrod Schulz and Brandi Passante had infamous conflicts, including when he drove her car into a pole. Whoops! (Image Credit: A&E) When did ‘Storage Wars’ stars Brandi Passante and Jarrod Schulz divorce? That’s actually a little bit complex to answer. Because, technically, they didn’t. Officially, in legal terms, Brandi and Jarrod never married. But they were in a long-term relationship, shared a business, had children together, and were life partners — until they weren’t. In some relationships, avoiding marriage can simplify a split. But having kids and a business together can make a conscious uncoupling complex even without a marriage license. When it comes to the children, Brandi has repeatedly characterized herself as the primary caregiver of her children. Both before and after the 2018 split. Their son, Cameron, and their daughter, Payton, are both teens. However, both parents have tastefully avoided mentioning them often. After news of Brandi and Jarrod’s split became public in 2020, Brandi told The Dad Diary that “I did a lot of it on my own anyway. … I have them all the time, 24/7 they’re here with me, so I have to navigate that.” Why did Brandi and Jarrod split? After seeing them clash and bicker on Storage Wars (famously, there are toxic clips that A&E itself has uploaded), their 2018 breakup wasn’t a shock. Even if it took fans a couple of years to learn of it. Additionally, Brandi’s characterization of herself as being the primary caregiver for both of their children to such an extent that being a single mom wasn’t so different may have been a major contributing factor. Even more seriously, a May 2021 TMZ report detailed Jarrod’s charge of misdemeanor domestic violence battery against Brandi. According to the report, he left the scene and was not arrested. Apparently, because the two were no longer in a relationship, authorities did not rush to pursue the matter. Clifford works as a realtor. And from the photos that Brandi’s posting, she’s much happier these days than she appeared with Jarrod during their Storage Wars era. Jarrod may have also moved on Unlike Brandi, Jarrod is not especially active on social media. His last post to Instagram, for example, was in May of 2022. At the time, he shared a photo with someone named Rochel Beckman. He did not formally confirm that the two were dating. TV Shows Ace reported that Rochel had posted about him on social media, gushing about him in 2019. “It’s crazy how much happier life can be when you are appreciated and cared for the way a person should be,” she wrote at the time. Presumably, this was a reference to Jarrod. Clearly, both Storage Wars exes have moved past their erstwhile relationship.
