Here’s the good news: Hell’s Kitchen has been renewed for season 23. Here’s the really superb news: it’s also been renewed for season 24! The double renewal announcement surely made fans happy, but with it came the reveal of some big changes coming to the competition in the years to come. While the show won’t kick off officially until fall (release date below), we already have some spoilers to share about the season ahead. Now, the show may have it’s forever home 3,000 miles from where it started. The next two upcoming seasons will be filmed in the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. Ramsay opened the sixth installment of his signature Hell’s Kitchen restaurants their last year. It seems that the property was custom-built for the show in mind. Some Reddit fans were hoping it would be an all-star year – while some decidedly did NOT want that at all! What we do know is that kitchen isn’t the only thing changing in season 23. Namely, Sous Chef James is returning as Sous Chef for the blue team, due to Sous Chef Jason opening new restaurants during the time of filming. Additionally, it looks like one of the guests this season will be comedian Nikki Glaser. In June, Gordon posted a photo of Nikki and her pop on the set of HK around the time the new season would be filming. Dead giveaway much? The Premiere Date: Set Your Calendars The best news of all is that fans don’t have long to wait to see what happens next. Hell’s Kitchen’s season 23 premiere will debut on Fox on September 26, 2024 at 8pm. Even better news than this is that it’s rumored season 24 started filming right after they wrapped on season 23, so we may get a fall AND a spring season. Sad news from the world of music today. Lucy Bleu-Knight — the stepdaughter of Guns ‘N’ Roses guitarist Slash — has passed away at the age of 25. According to In Touch, Lucy died at “a private residence” over the weekend. An autopsy was performed, and the body has now been released to the family for final preparations. The rock legend described Lucy-Bleu as the “beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson.” He noted that she “passed away peacefully in Los Angeles on July 19, 2024.” What Was Lucy-Bleu Knight’s Cause of Death While the autopsy has been completed, Lucy-Bleu’s cause of death is currently listed as “deferred.” This might mean that medical examiners are still waiting on additional information, such as the results of a toxicology report. According to a report that The US Sun published on Sunday, July 21, Josh Duggar has been offering his signature to fellow inmates, who then gift his autograph to friends and family. “Josh has been signing autographs on newspapers articles about him for prisoners’ family members,” the inside source reported. His 151-month sentence followed his guilty verdict for receiving and possessing child sex-abuse material (CSAM). In Netflix’s official announcement, the logline confirms that Benedict will be searching for said “lady in silver,” but does not explicitly mention the character from the book, a low-born woman named Sophie Beckett. Given Benedict’s confirmed pansexuality – and the gender-twist in Francesca‘s storyline – many fans are curious to see how close to the book’s narrative the new season will go. While a full cast list has not been announced, both Bridgerton and Featherington families are meant to reprise their roles. Autumn was confirmed dead by the Virginia Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed on Monday, July 22, at only 27 years old. She is the second 16 & Pregnant star to pass away this year, with Sean Garinger passing away in February. The Doubling Down With the Derricos star announced on July 20 that his nephew, who had guest starred on the show previously, had died just that week. The news is as heartbreaking as it was unexpected. Life can be hectic on Doubling Down with the Derricos, considering all the kids involved. (TLC) ‘Doubling Down With the Derricos’ Star Dead: Deon’s Nephew Passes Away On Saturday, July 20 the Doubling Down with the Derricos star revealed that his nephew, Amani, died following a long battle with autoimmune hepatitis. “My Family, friends, and fans….It is with great sadness that I #DEONDERRICO Announce the passing of my loving nephew Amani Barkley! Our family is devastated,” the reality TV star wrote in an Instagram post. He reminded longtime viewers of the show that Amani was the son of his “late brother Christopher S. Turner, and Stacey Dickey” In the fourth season of Doubling Down With the Derricos, the family met Amani for the first time after a DNA test confirmed that he was related to Deon and and his mother, GG. Over the course of the season, the family’s close bond and relationship grew and flourished. “You guys along with my family fell in love with him and in this short time we have built a bond with Amani, and merged our families forever!” The post included a photo of Deon holding Amani’s hand, seemingly sharing that he was with his nephew near the end. According to the crowdfunding site, Amani had been battling the autoimmune disease since he was 14 years old. As a result, he needed multiple liver transplants. Amani received a liver transplant on June 2, which the family believed to be successful. Unfortunately, his body rejected the organ and he underwent his third and final transplant on June 15. In her post on Instagram following his death, Karen Derrico shared a video filled with photos of Amani spending time with her 14 children with Deon. “#theDerricos #AmaniB #GonetooSoon Rest well Amani! Thank you for all your texts, calls, DM’s, prayers, donations, and support! This is extremely devastating to our family, and we love each and everyone for all that has been done!,” read the post. Very, very sad news today out of the universe of reality television: Sean Garinger, best known for appearing on 16 and Pregnant alongside his ex-girlfriend Selena Gutierrez, passed away following a horrific ATV accident in February. He was 20 years old. Now, officials have released his cause of death. While it’s not surprising, it’s still devastating to hear. Sean Garinger during his time on 16 and Pregnant. (MTV) Sean Garinger’s Cause Of Death After ATV Accident According to his mother, Sean was moving an ATV from one parking spot to another in front of his home in Boone, North Carolina on February 28 when the fatal incident occurred. “He was just moving [the ATV] from one parking spot to the next for me, so I could back into park,” Mary Hobbs told The Sun on. “He pulled [in] front of me to park the ATV and the ground gave way from all the rain and mud.” Sean Garinger and Selena Gutierrez on 16 and Pregnant. TMZ obtained the docs from the Raleigh, NC Medical Examiner’s office, and the report on his February death says his skull was fractured in multiple places Just truly awful. Very sad news over the weekend out of the entertainment industry: Esta TerBlanche, a veteran actress best known for having played Gillian Andrassy on the popular soap opera All My Children has passed away. She was 51 years old. Esta TerBlanche as a bride on All My Children. (ABC/Courtesy Everett Collection) According to the star’s goddaughter, who spoke to TMZ, TerBlance “died unexpectedly” on Thursday in her North Hollywood residence. Authorities believe she had been gone for about a day by the time medical personnel discovered her body. The cause of her death is under investigation rep Lisa Rodrigo told this celebrity gossip website, emphasizing there is no other information available at this time. TerBlanche rose to fame after she won Miss Teen South Africa in 1991. Esta TerBlanche was best known for her role on the series All My Children. (Disney General Entertainment Content via Getty Images) The late actress landed first acting role as Bienkie Naudé Hartman on South Africa’s first soap opera, “Egoli: Place of Gold,” from 1992 to 1995. Two years later, she was cast as Andrassy on All My Children. The character was a troublesome Hungarian princess who was married to Ryan Lavery (Cameron Mathison). She was killed off in 2001 (after getting shot by an assassin in a case of mistaken identity), although TerBlanche returned as Gillian’s ghost for one episode in 2011. “When I came back, it was really emotional for me and Cameron. Fans have two questions about Owning Manhattan Season 2. Is it happening? When is it coming out? Netflix has struck gold more than once in the realm of high-end real estate reality television. Serhant (the person) of course starred for years on Million Dollar Listing New York. Clearly a kindred spirit to Selling Sunset, this series follows luxury real estate properties in a place with more skyscrapers and much better weather: Manhattan. Thus far, the show’s only critics seem to be folks who either don’t like reality TV or specifically don’t like real estate agents on reality TV. That’s fair. But the show obviously has a hefty audience of fans, so not everyone agrees. Owning Manhattan debuted its entire first season on June 28, 2024. Of course, these days, an “entire season” tends to be agonizingly short. Americans used to make fun of Brits for miniseries-length seasons, but now we’re all living in that reality. The truth of the matter is that 8 episodes is simply not enough for most shows. Especially not for Owning Manhattan‘s eager fanbase, who are already itching for more just weeks after Season 1 dropped. Will ‘Owning Manhattan’ Get a Season 2? Season 1 had plenty of hallmarks of a solid first season of reality television. Obviously, the initial draw — before viewers get to know the people involved — is the high-end apartments. But how many first seasons feature a dramatic firing? (We suspect that a second season of Owning Manhattan will not include Jonathan) Viewers responded to the drama. During its first week, Netflix audiences streamed over 512 million minutes of the show, Variety reports. Members of the cast have spoken excitedly about a second season. “We have filmed some things that we weren’t able to continue with by the time shooting ended,” Serhant recently told House Beautiful. “[They] didn’t make sense for season one. I think [they] are primed for season two and are intense, to say the least.” Are those hints at a second season renewal? Or is he merely projecting confidence and hoping for Season 2? And there are things to consider, from cast salary to shakeups to episode order and more, before anyone can iron out a renewal. That said, Ryan Serhant has received dozens of new applications following Season 1 from people who hope to work for his agency. So there’s no chance of running out of hopeful reality TV stars. But Hulu is bringing the series back with a reboot (titled “A New Era”) on August 7… and the first trailer, released this week by People Magazine, makes it clear that Miller may be gone.
