Kody Brown has been nominated for an American Reality Television Award. And, no, this award is somehow NOT Biggest Douche Canoe in the History of Anything Ever. Instead, the 11th annual version of this rather random eve , has nominated Kody for Reality King, a category in which he’ll go up against the following individuals: Big Ed Brown and Tim Malcolm (90 Day Fiancé), Pauly D and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino (Jersey Shore), Johnny Bananas (House of Villains) and Cameron Hardin (Big Brother). Kody Brown is likely saying something selfish in this scene. (TLC) Kody spent more of the latest Sister Wives acting like a huge jerk, eventually splitting from both Janelle Brown and Meri Brown. Previously, Christine Brown — who is nominated here in the Reality Queen category, sort of ironically — walked away from her spiritual union wit Kody in November 2021. TLC actually shared Christine’s nomination via its Instagram Story this week, featuring the 52-year-old fan favorite in a cast photo, but it did not promote Kody. Interesting, huh? Christine and Kody Brown are no longer married. That’s probably a good thing. Based on her personal beliefs, and based on the fact that Donald Trump is a deranged racist felon who has trashed Taylor over the years, we somehow doubt Swift is doing to endorse Trump for the highest office in the land. In 2023, they remarried in March only to get their third divorce in December of that year. In February of 2024, Darrin finalized his third divorce. But television hosts can spend a lot of time in dressing rooms. They can also be status symbols — showing favor or favoritism. It has been reported that an ISIS plot against a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna was narrowly foiled the night before her show. Two men were arrested on August 7 in connection with alleged planned attacks at major events in Vienna, Austria, including Taylor’s upcoming concerts. The details are shocking, but the good news is that the culprits have been caught – and the show will go on! (Photo by Aldara Zarraoa/Getty Images for TAS Rights Management) Taylor Swift Concert Terror Plot in Austria Foiled: What Happened On the day before Taylor Swift is meant to take the stage for her first of three concerts in Austria, Vienna State Police Director Franz Ruf and Police Chief Gerhard Purstl revealed in a press conference that a plot to attack those at her show was foiled. Two men were arrested by Austrian federal and state police. Among them, a 19-year-old teen who allegedly pledged his allegiance to ISIS. The officials said in the news conference that both men had become radicalized through the internet. Additionally, they allegedly had specific and detailed plans on how to carry out an attack. When the 19-year-old, whose identity has not been released, was taken into custody, a bomb squad allegedly found chemical substances in his parents home, where he also lives. It remains unclear to investigators at this time if the substances could have been used to build a bomb. Austria’s Cobra unit, which is similar to the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team, assisted with the arrests. In a post from Austrian concert promoter Barracuda Music, organizers wrote, “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Vienna Shows cancelled due to government officials confirmation of planned terrorist attack. With confirmation from government officials of a planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium, we have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety.” Swift was scheduled to perform at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Vienna on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the international leg of The Eras Tour. As we understand, despite the arrests, the plan was to put extra measures are being put in place to protect concert goers. This will include heavy weapons teams, K-9 units, bomb squads and tactical vehicles, according to police. Fans were to expect delays as authorities do extensive visitor and vehicle checks, but they were ready to carry on. Probably a better idea that they didn’t though. Will Julie Chrisley actually attend her resentencing? She might skip it. And her reported reasons are pretty understandable. Thanks to Julie Chrisley’s overturned sentence, she may be leaving prison much earlier than she’d dared to hope. That doesn’t mean that Todd is getting out early. A court threw out her original prison sentence. She has currently been behind bars for about a year and a half out of her 7-year sentence. It is very likely that resentencing will mean getting out of prison early for Julie Chrisley. However, it’s not the same thing as going free. Her guilty verdict stands, at least for now. But she’s only going home soon if her new sentence is for only a couple of years. (And that’s hardly guaranteed) Julie and Todd Chrisley may be all smiles in this scene from their reality show. But their life is awful these days. (Image Credit: USA) The resentencing hearing for Julie Chrisley will take place in Atlanta, Georgia. As Chrisley Knows Best viewers may recall, the infamous reality TV family lived in Georgia prior to making their move to Nashville, Tennessee. However, Julie is serving her sentence at a federal prison in Kentucky. That’s not a short trip from Atlanta. Making the trip to appear physically in court would likely involve spending hours shackled in a prison van. Todd Chrisley and wife Julie are victims of a flawed carceral system. That doesn’t mean that they’re sympathetic or decent people — just that they’re facing injustices alongside countless others. (Image Credit: USA) Julie Chrisley would rather participate remotely According to numerous outlets, including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Julie Chrisley does not wish to attend the hearing in person. She has pleaded with the court to allow her to attend virtually. Transporting her there as a prisoner would constitute “undue physical hardship,” she has argued. With prosecutors not giving any objections, it’s likely that Julie Chrisley will not have to embark upon this journey. Especially since her current prison has indicated that remote participation should not be an issue. Todd and Julie Chrisley received hefty prison sentences for their financial crimes. Both the court’s handling of loss calculations and the governments own admissions regarding Julie’s alleged involvement in Todd Chrisley’s crimes are factors in her upcoming resentencing. Though any Chrisley Knows Best viewer could tell you that they are not good people, it’s hard to wrap your mind around someone losing a decade — give or take a few years — for financial crimes. She has Graves’ disease. Many people may recognize that condition because of Wendy Williams’ health struggles. Graves’ disease is an autoimmune disorder. Essentially, Daisy Ridley’s thyroid produces too much of a hormone. This impacts her health in various ways. This likely stems from how Jim Bob and Michelle have continually defended oldest son Josh… despite him having been convicted of child pornography possession. Though unexplained at the time, most royal fans were content with the narrative that the procedure was planned and that Kate would be back among the royals soon. But then, on the morning of February 27, Prince William canceled an appearance at a memorial for his late godfather, King Constantine II of Greece, citing a “personal matter” for the last-minute change to his schedule. Many observers were curious and concerned that her husband canceled this appearance because something had gone wrong in her recovery. In a statement released the following day, Kate admitted that the pic was a fake. But neither she nor the royals gave any reason as to why such a ruse was necessary. Until it all became too much. It felt as if the royal family was handling more than it ever had before. And that’s when the truth came out. The Princess of Wales revealed she was in the early stages of treatment after a cancer diagnosis in a video statement on March 22. Kate confessed it was a “huge shock” after an “incredibly tough couple of months,” but she assured royal fans by saying: “I am well and getting stronger every day.” Details of the cancer still have not been disclosed, but the discovery was made during her surgery. “Tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment,” said the princess. Motion sickness can take various forms, particularly nausea or intense dizziness. Some people even experience greyouts, which include temporary blindness, after roller coaster rides. It doesn’t sound like Jill got the worst of it. But she clearly found that the symptoms were memorable. Overall, Jill and Derick clearly had a good time. Couples with sufficient means for childcare, time off, and travel can vacation at any time. However, a 10-year anniversary trip can usually only happen once. Most of the memories seem to be positive ones. And whenever they take their next trip, whether it’s for an 11-year anniversary for their 20th, perhaps they’ll skip the rides. However, he’s told his family, including his late mother Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, that he’ll come only “if it doesn’t cause too much drama”. According to a pal of Harry’s, it is very unlikely that his brother Prince William and his father, King Charles, won’t also attend the service. Harry has not seen his father since his impromptu visit after Charles announced his cancer diagnosis. He has not seen his brother since Charles’ coronation. “In normal times it would be unimaginable that Harry would not be there to support Jane. Of course he would want to be there. It’s possible that this will be her final Olympics. As Biles herself has acknowledged, being 27 as a gymnast makes her practically geriatric. This makes it rather challenging to hammer out the details of a divorce … despite TMZ sources also confirming that a prenuptial agreement is in place and Affleck and Lopez only share the house in Beverly Hills that is currently for sale. Page Six, meanwhile, tells a slightly different story. ET now writes that the couple is “waiting to announce their official split, because they want to make sure everything is seamless when they do, especially with everyone involved. “Neither of them want this process to be rushed. They are treating the separation with as much grace, understanding, and gentleness as they can.” It’s difficult to know what to believe at this point. Andy Cohen’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey comments hinted at upcoming changes to the longtime Bravo series. Well, Jennifer Aydin had something to say about that. (Image Credit: Bravo) Is the ‘RHONJ’ reboot really happening? This summer, Andy Cohen opened up about upcoming changes to The Real Housewives of New Jersey. His comments suggested a revamp of RHONJ. While he didn’t say that it would be a true reboot — that is, an all new cast — there could be serious changes and new faces. Naturally, word of this quickly spun into a belief that every Housewife on RHONJ will soon be out of a job. Well, out of this job. Andy stressed that he had been “riffing” when he joked to an argumentative caller than there would be “all new faces” on a RHONJ “reboot.” Are changes on the way? Almost certainly. But the reaction has been overblown. (The caller in question had been a diehard Teresa Giudice fan, and wanted Melissa Gorga and Margaret Josephs gone) Since his off-the-cuff remark made its way around the internet, multiple Housewives have responded. As you can see in the @bravosnarkside video below, which features a TikTok montage of multiple Housewives, Jennifer Aydin spoke on the RHONJ reboot story. First, she emphasized that she believes that Bravo will make the best decision. That is, she was very diplomatically not biting the hand that currently feeds her. “People sit there and like, ‘Oh, what if you didn’t do the show?’ I mean I don’t know,” Jennifer Aydin said. “I guess I will go back to counting my Ferraris and all the bathrooms and go back to my fabulous life.” While having numerous bathrooms in a home suggests that it is newer, larger, and more expensive, it can be an odd status symbol. Some would argue that it sounds more desperate than the line about Ferraris. Other criticisms in the comments described her as trying too hard. This is not uncommon among Real Housewives. Some (allegedly) rent nicer houses than they could afford without the show, simply to project a more opulent lifestyle for Bravo viewers. Anyone at risk for losing a high-paying gig has two choices. They can beg to keep their job, or they can act like they don’t need it. Both have their merits. Jennifer Aydin has responded to the RHONJ reboot rumors with the latter. Only time will tell how that works out for her. As for the show … we won’t actually know what comes next until after Bravo decides. And that’ll likely be after this season. A former contestant on The Bachelorette is in trouble with the law. Again. According to Page Six, James McCoy Taylor was arrested Sunday and booked on two charges: assault causing bodily injury and unlawful restraint. He has since been released on $8,000 bond. (ABC) College Station Police Department’s public information officer told The New York Post today that Taylor was handcuffed and hauled away from at a bar in the Northgate entertainment district of Brazos County, Texas. We don’t have any further information on exactly what transpired… but the charges are actually related to some sort of incident from April 24, jail records state. Taylor, who is smiling broadly in his mug shot, denied any wrongdoing when contacted this morning by Page Six. However, he has not issued a public statement at this time. In September 2022, Taylor was arrested for driving while intoxicated and unlawful carrying of a weapon. A month later, a Brazos County judge found Taylor guilty on both charges. He was sentenced to serve five days, pay a $500 fine and $585 in court costs — and there was a temporary suspension of his drivers license. Elsewhere, this same alleged law-breaker participated in the insurrection on the Capitol in Washington, D.C., to protest former President Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss back on January 6, 2021. “Big thanks to #TheBachelor family for supporting me during this time … from top to bottom,” he wrote via Twitter shortly after this riot went down. “Conservative producers are the best!! Thank you @ABCNetwork @ABC & @BachelorABC for having my back while I legally supported our President.” Of course, this wasn’t exactly the case. James Taylor gets a rose on The Bachelorette.
