Welp. That was a surprise. To close out Bridgerton Season 3, producers changed things up a bit from the Julia Quinn novel series on which this beloved drama is based. Toward the very end of the finale, Francesca’s new husband, John Stirling, introduces his cousin, Michaela Stirling. Yes, Michaela Stirling. Masali Baduza has made quite the impression on Bridgerton. (Netflix) This is a departure from the aforementioned books because the character Quinn writes about is a male named Michael. “I caution you. Every sordid detail John has spoken about me is a lie,” Michaela says playfully on the episode. “The truth is far worse.” In the story as Quinn tells it, Michael becomes best friends with Francesca… even though he has harbored a crush on her since she joined the family. Looking ahead — BRIDGERTON SPOILERS ALERT! — John dies in his sleep two years into his marriage with Francesca and, after suffering a pregnancy loss, Francesca begins thinking four years later about getting married again. But they can meet the young woman cast to play Michaela right here and now… The Queen on Bridgerton. We love her portrayal! (Netflix) Masali Baduza was rumored to have been cast on Bridgerton over a year ago, based on Reddit users who perused her social media followers and posts. It was unclear for what role, however, although we now know she has taken on Michaela Stirling. Baduza is a South African actress who is likely best known for having played Sephy Hadley on the BBC drama Noughts + Crosses. She was named a rising star and one to watch by the Royal Television Society after it aired. Baduza also graduated from from the New York Film Academy in 2016; and she portrayed Fumbe in the critically acclaimed film The Woman King in 2022. Not a lot else is known about Masali Baduza. The only other role in her filmography is “Young Trish Deveraux ” in something called Slumber Party Massacre. Now, however? She added that throughout her recent weight loss journey, she’s been completely transparent with her family and her fans “I literally shared that experience with TikTok, and I told people like, ‘I gained a pound and I was so mad at myself,’ because I work hard in the gym, eating only protein,” June told her daughter. Jinger Duggar is speaking candidly about her complicated relationship with her parents. And not surprisingly, she says that she doesn’t always see eye-to-eye with Jim Bob and Michelle. On Wednesday, Jinger appeared on Matt and Abby Howard’s “Unplanned” podcast, where she spoke about her difficult childhood and where she stands with her parents. I shared a lot of difficulties that I struggled with throughout my childhood, but at the end of the day, I’m grateful for my parents,” Jinger said, according to Us. They are in two very different worlds 90 percent of the day. They’re leading separate lives,” this insider tells the tabloid, noting that at least the spouses seem to be aware of their issues. Hence why Clooney will soon be relocating to New York City to star in a Broadway show. Amal is often in the Big Apple as well due to her job as an adjunct professor at Columbia University. In this latest case, the outlet doesn’t drop the D-Word anywhere in its report, instead focusing on two people who are very successful in their fields… and the toll that can take on a relationship. “George runs his filmmaking operation — from directing and producing to taking acting roles in other people’s projects — like a military general,” In Touch explains, detailing how Clooney has directed a movie (The Boys in the Boat), filmed two movies (one with Brad Pitt and one with Adam Sandler) and produced numerous projects over the past few years. For Amber Portood, what ought to be a celebratory time has turned into something very different. It has turned into a nightmare. Earlier this week, you see, we reported that Portwood was engaged to her boyfriend Gary, not long after the latter made his debut on MTV’s Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. Mere days later? Amber Portwood on an episode of MTV’s Teen Mom. (MTV) Gary went missing. As previously reported, Portwood’s fiance vanished after he and Amber got into some sort of argument while they were in North Carolina for the Teen Mom star’s brother’s wedding. On Tuesday night, meanwhile, Amber opened up about this concerning development for the first time. “This is a huge deal, his parents, everybody is very worried. I am worried,” the 34-year old said in a YouTube stream on June 11. “There was not a big blowout fight or anything like that. He is a missing person right now.” Amber Portwood has had her share of legal trouble over the years. (MTV) Portwood is not being dramatic here. A couple days ago, the Bryson City Police Department confirmed via Facebook that Gary was missing. Described in the police report as 6-foot-1 male weighing 205 pounds with brown eyes and a bald head, Gary drives a 2009 gray Nissan Rogue SUV with Indiana state registration plates. I slept maybe an hour.” The mother of two acknowledged that she and Gary got into a fight while staying in an Airbnb for her brother’s big day — but she has denied any reports of violence. “There was no explosive argument. You guys have to understand, okay?” Amber told viewers. “I am not what people have been saying about me all of these years. I changed a long time ago, okay? You guys have to understand this. Please listen to what I’m saying. I’m an honest person to you guys.” Back in 2019, Portwood was arrested for allegedly attacking ex-boyfriend Andrew Glennon with a machete. She lost custody of her son James as a result. Wearing a bold pair of glasses and a striped top, Amber Portwood recalls the well-deserved rejection that she received from her daughter for years. (MTV) “We have not had explosive fights,” Amber continued of her and Gary. “We are very in love. This man asked me to be with him. This man asked me to marry him. I have not touched this man in any horrible way. He does not touch me in any horrible way. We do not yell at each other. “We have a wonderful relationship, please understand this. People change.” In general, Portwood is looking for any sort of help she can get. She’s even turning to a higher power amid this panic-stricken situation. In 1985, New York magazine branded the cast of The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo’s Fire under that seemingly derogatory name. Even if they did not wish to be. However, other — sometimes more famous — young 1980s actors like Timothy Hutton, Tom Cruise, Nicholas Cage, and Sean Penn have sometimes become associated with the label. The group’s name is, of course, a play on Frank Sinatra’s Rat Pack. In the mid-1980s, the Rat Pack was not as distant of a memory as it is today. Theresa has received the divorce filing. And she’s signed off on a couple of divorce-related matters. But she has yet to file an official response. He cited an “irretrievable breakdown” of their union. Translation? Theresa didn’t want to quit her job, find a new job (miserable at any age, but especially in one’s 70s), or move to the midwest. According to court documents that The US Sun obtained, Theresa signed off on a joint stipulation, agreeing that Indiana courts should handle the divorce rather than New Jersey courts. Even if Tori is a little too broke for The Real Housewives, she has lived in some high-end rental homes following her separation from Dean McDermott. This time, however, she ditched a rental unexpectedly … allegedly leaving behind a colossal mess and foul-smelling filth. It sounds like she moved in late last year, and signed the lease only four months earlier. But she moved out on June 1, and obviously took her five children — 17-year-old Liam, 15-year-old Stella, 12-year-old Hattie, 11-year-old Finn, and 7-year-old Beau — with her. The rental home cost a reported $15,000 each month at the time. Unfortunately, even that and the pricey deposit might not be enough to cover the property’s sorry state. She reportedly paid a $7,500 security deposit before moving in … but that might not cover her expenses. It has been three months since the tragic death of Garrison Brown, the 25-year old son of Sister Wives stars Kody Brown and Janelle Brown. Three long, painful, shocking and simply very sad months. As you likely know by now, Garrison killed himself on March 4 via a self-inflicted gunshot wound. It was a decision his loved ones may never fully comprehend, although it’s come out in the time since that Janelle was aware her child suffered from suicidal thoughts and tendencies. Garrison Brown died by suicide at age 25. RIP. (Image Credit: TLC) It’s just a terrible situation all around, and it’s one Meri Brown opened up about during a recent appearance on Miss Understood With Rachel Uchitel podcast. The TLC personality explained in this interview how she has talked to both Janelle and Kody “and I think there’s good days and bad days. I don’t know how there couldn’t be.” She elaborated as follows: “There’s still times that I’ll see a picture of Garrison and I’ll be like, ‘Awww. I don’t like that this happened.’ It’s really sad, you know? I feel so much for Janelle. I watched my mom lose two of her own kids before she passed… it’s tragic.” Meri Brown opens up here to the TLC cameras. Spacey was acquitted on sexual assault charges in the UK last year. But with at least 16 accusers claiming they were victimized by the 64-year-old, his legal troubles may be far from over. We have an update on the passing of Ben Potter. As previously reported, the vastly popular YouTube personality died on June 8 as a result of what his wife, Nathalie, described as an “unfortunate accident.” He was only 40 years old. (YouTube) The social media star was known as Comicstorian and had over three million subscribers on the video-sharing platform at the time he was killed — in a single-vehicle car crash, People Magazine and other outlets can now confirm. Someone from The Colorado State Patrol told Us Weekly that Potter was driving near Fort Collins in a silver Toyota 4Runner on Saturday… when he veered off the right shoulder and continued to cross over a frontage road before rolling the car “multiple times.” According to a press release provided to this same tabloid by the aforementioned department, Potter was wearing his safety belt at the time. However, he “succumbed to injuries from the crash while at the scene.” We send our condolences to the loved ones of Ben Potter. (YouTube) The beloved content creator — who often talked about Marvel and the DC Comics universe with viewers — was the only occupant of the vehicle, and no other vehicles were involved. Expect an investigation to take place. And then, when she was finally free of her mother, the state stepped in and robbed her of the next eight years. Our justice system is, at times, a perversion. Kail is not alone on her opinions Naturally, a lot of people want to protect Ms. Rose Blanchard from opportunists and general weirdos. Some people want fame by proxy. She’s been used for more than enough “by proxy” of anything for one lifetime. The way that Ryan Anderson has given interviews after their split, to many, seems to confirm their worst fears about their erstwhile marriage. Very few people put much confidence in a romance that began in prison, anyway. Ryan’s on-screen behavior is not endearing him to Ms. Blanchard’s fans. She deserves the breathing room to learn how to be a person — free of her mother and free of jail. And, since they’re no longer together, free of her ex. King Charles is not especially popular, particularly when compared to almost any member of his family (with the exception of Prince Andrew). Author David Wroblewski, who wrote the book that Oprah had intended to promote (it is part of her eponymous book club), was in attendance. And Gayle did not hold back when she went into detail on those symptoms.
