News at the time, the two had apparently been trying to make it work, without success, and had separated in 2014. Both Alton and DeAnna had been devout attendees of their Southern Baptist Church. In fact, many times, Alton has spoken about his devout Christian beliefs. Despite the issues tearing them apart, including Alton’s busy work schedule, part of why they’d tried to make it work was their church. They’d felt a religious pressure to preserve their marriage at the cost of their happiness. Ultimately, Alton left Johnson Ferry Baptist Church. In fact, he told Time that he was taking a “break” from organized religion and in search of a “new belief system.” He cited his former denomination’s anti-gay doctrine and its emphasis upon indoctrinating children, which were both at odds with his moral stance. The 1000-Lb Sisters lead has received nothing but praise from TLC viewers and social media followers in the wake of her extreme weight loss. Now, however? Slaton is facing a fresh round of criticism. (TLC) Criticism, we should say, but also concern… as the 37-year old shared a new video this week of herself (clad in all black) and a pair of relatively new friends, Haley Michelle and Paola Román. “Three is the magic number #magic #spiritualsisters,” Tammy wrote as a caption to this video, which featured the trio spending time in a park. This footage (posted below) marked the first appearance of Michelle — who calls herself the Paranormal Princess online — and Román on Slaton’s account in nearly a month. Based on the various remarks, not everybody was thrilled about her return, either. Many people are concerned about the influence and the motives of these women. “damn I enjoyed the last month without seeing the clout chasers,” the top comment on the post reads at the moment. “Such a weird vibe.” Another commented as follows: “We don’t like them, Tammy girl.” Michelle started becoming a frequent presence on Slaton’s social media earlier this year, seemingly out of nowhere. TLC is launching The Baldwins (though this working title may be subject to change) in 2025. The series will follow the controversial actor, his wife, and their chaotic home. As you can see in the video below, the announcement is filled with two main elements. The first is a causal, off-the-cuff vibe from Hilaria and Alec Baldwin. And the second is endless family chaos. In the seemingly off-the-cuff and improvised video, the Baldwins introduce followers to their 2025 reality series. “We’re inviting you into our home to experience the ups and downs; the good, the bad, the wild and the crazy,” Alec Baldwin says during the video. He’s still facing charges this summer for involuntary manslaughter. According to a People report in early June, New Mexico prosecutors seek to have armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed testify against Baldwin. Though he has maintained that he had no idea that the gun was loaded and that he did not pull the trigger, the state hopes to find him legally culpable for manslaughter. He could, in theory, face up to 18 months behind bars if convicted. Which, by our math, says that it’s possible that The Baldwins could see a 2025 premiere while one of its cast members is behind bars. So … that’s awkward. But maybe this is about something a lot simpler than a deadly tragedy Of course, reports from just a couple of months before this announcement said that HIlaria Baldwin was eager to become a reality TV star. Garrison died by suicide on March 5, 2024. His death devastated his loves ones, which included his father Kody Brown and his other wives, Christine, Meri, and Robyn. But perhaps no one put their grief better than Savannah, who posted Instagram after his cause of death was confirmed. “Two weeks ago, on Tuesday March 5, my older brother Garrison took his own life. He was 25.,” she began in the caption of a photo of Garrison holding her as a baby. “I’m having a hard time understanding it. But I know now, more than anything, that my brother Garrison is no longer in any more pain. Every time I see a car that looks like his on the road, I briefly wonder if it’s him on his way home from work before I am reminded that he is gone. When I make PB&Js, I am reminded of him. We are just under one month out from the premiere of OutDaughtered Season 10. We can’t say for certain just how this latest batch of episode will conclude. But a number of TLC users feel as if they’ve seen enough. They’ve witnessed the growing tension between spouses Danielle and Adam Busby and they can’t help but wonder: Are these two even a couple at this point?!? (TLC) As you might expect, the couple landed a reality show as the result of such an unusual situation. And as you also might expect, being the parents of six very young kids has taken its toll on Danielle and Adam, perhaps never more noticeably than thus far on Season 10. On the new season, Danielle has been demanding more help from Adam around the house as the girls are growing up. Due to conflicting schedules and even contrasting views on parenting in general, the husband and wife have never seem more distant. “Something we’ve talked about in the past over and over again, things have gotten difficult,” Danielle said on a recent episode. “We are pulled in multiple different directions at multiple different times, and we just can’t keep up with it.” The Busby family spends time together in this reality show scene. The fallout, at least in the eyes of the general public, has been disdain for Danielle that is rather akin to the criticism that came the way of Kate Gosselin way back in the day. Viewers of this same cable network formerly believed that Kate was far too critical and far too controlling of her then-husband, Jon, when they had their own series on TLC that also centered around their very large family. Halsey’s health struggles continue to be heartbreaking, as the pop star seemingly reveals she’s battling cancer and Lupus. In her announcement of a surprise new single and album, Halsey posted some videos of her life while creating new music. In has involved endless doctors visits, losing her hair and a promise to herself to fight her illness. Strong. Powerful. Beautiful. It defines the song and the artist. Already, she has had to deal being with diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogren’s syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and POTS. Now, with the announcement of her new single, The End, her illness journey has seemingly intensified. In the caption of her post, which features several videos of her receiving unknown treatments, she tags two organizations. The first is the Lupus Research Alliance; the second is Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This seems to indicate that she has been diagnosed with both conditions, though she has not confirmed this as of yet. She has, however, made donations to both organizations to coincide with the song’s release. Lupus is an autoimmune disease that several other celebrities also suffer from, like Selena Gomez. It is a chronic (long-term) disease that can cause inflammation and pain in any part of your body, according to the alliance. Leukemia and lymphoma are both blood cancers that affect the immune system. In short, Halsey has been dealt a very rough hand, and things may have worsened. In the caption, she wrote, “long story short, i’m Lucky to be alive. short story long, i wrote an album.” Halsey’s Illness Journey Halsey, who uses she/they pronouns, appears to be in tremendous pain in the videos she shared. In one, she is dressed in comfy clothes, but looks anything but. She’s rubbing her calves and complains about feeling like an “old lady.” “I told myself i’m given two more years to be sick,” she says in the video.” When I’m 30 I’m gonna rebirth, I’m not gonna be sick and I’m gonna look super hot.” The pop star, who is currently 29, then shares videos of themselves getting treatment. Whether this is chemo or something else, it’s hard to say, but they involve and IV. The videos also seemingly show Halsey losing her hair, bit by bit, until finally, she has a bald head while singing in the studio. The videos show their tears and their hard days and their resilience. They also give understanding to the new song they dropped. It’s entirely his own doing, especially after his outspoken antisemitic rants horrified the world. It’s sadly no surprise to hear that someone who used to work for him is taking him to court. In this case, the lawsuit accuses Kanye of wrongful termination, of sexual harassment, and of unpaid termination. The filings detail that she began working for him in July of 2021. At that time, he was preparing to launch his Yeezy fashion line. Pisciotta is an influencer. As such, the legal documents explain, Kanye offered her $1 million (as an annual salary) to work as is assistant. She would need to be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to do the job. Lauren Pisciotta accepted the job. In her lawsuit, she shares that she was making another $1 million through her OnlyFans account at that time. However, in 2022, Kanye West allegedly insisted that she become more “God like,” by which he meant to delete her account. He allegedly offered to raise her salary to $2 million per year to compensate for the lost income. The lawsuit accuses him of not actually adjusting her income despite their agreement. It’s also hypocritical given Kanye West’s apparent porn studio aspirations. Kanye’s alleged failure to deliver the promised raise to Pisciotta is even more serious. That sort of thing can happen as an honest mistake, but any responsible employer should immediately work to rectify it with apologies. However, the filing says that Kanye began sending Lauren Pisciotta vulgar text messages. The sort of content that is inappropriate for an employer to send to an employee. “See my problem is I be wanting to f–k but then after I f–k I want a girl to tell me how hard they been f–ked while I’m f–king them. Then I want her to cheat on me,” one of the inappropriate texts allegedly reads. That is, at best, oversharing that is inappropriate for any workplace. However, in addition to burdening Pisciotta with explicit details of his sexual fantasies, he allegedly sent her photos and videos of his actual sexual activities with various women. And the incidents apparently went beyond what he sent to her. Other accusations include Ye allegedly masturbating while speaking to her on the phone, asking her about her sex life (including the penis sizes of her boyfriends), and forcing her “to remove her cardigan while she was in the office because he said ‘it was covering too much.’” Perhaps the most alarming item in the lawsuit is the allegation that Kanye locked them in a room together and then masturbated beside her before he fell asleep. Pisciotta also reports in the lawsuit that he became angry when she declined to “date or have sex” with him. In the summer of 2022, Lauren Pisciotta received a promotion. She was Chief of Staff for several of Kanye West’s companies, and would allegedly receive a $4 million salary. However, within a month, he fired her. Pisciotta’s lawsuit notes that she was offered a $3 million severance … but never received it. It has been nearly two years, and she would like to receive money that her former employer owes her. For that reason, she is suing West for compensation for breach of contract and also for a hostile work environment. Truly devastating news this week out of the sports and entertainment industry: Spencer Wright and his wife took their three-year old son, Levi, off of life support on Sunday… not long after the toddler suffered a brain injury in the wake of driving his toy tractor into a river. (Facebook) Family friend Mindy Sue Clark confirmed the passing of Levi on Facebook. “I cannot even begin to explain how hard the last two weeks have been,” Clark wrote in a June 3 post. “From the moment my phone rang the night of his accident, to last night receiving the message that he had to go. I don’t want to focus on the bad or sad, even though it feels like someone ripped my heart out and squeezed it right in front of me.” Mindy went on to praise the community who rallied in support of Levi, saying on this same platform: “I want to focus on the many miracles we all got to bear witness to in those 12 days.” (Facebook) Levi was placed in critical condition after the aforementioned accident. His mother, Kallie, previously shared an update on June 2 that the family would be “letting him go” very soon, explaining: “After several sleepless nights, lots of research, multiple conversations with the world’s best neurologists & millions of prayers we are here in the face of our biggest fear. “Levi showed us just enough to buy us time for all of this,” she continued. “We prayed those things were him defying odds & proving to us that he wanted to stay here but we see now he wanted to give us time to find peace with letting him go. “I told you my baby was thoughtful & considerate, I truly believe he did that for us.” Kallie and Spencer also share a five-year old daughter and a nine-month old son, both of whom are pictured along with their late sibling in the Instagram photo posted by their dad directly above. Her parents have been keeping the public informed, ever since she was hospitalized. Their latest update reveals their daughter is in a “tremendous pain” after enduring a “medical emergency at home,” followed by a 5-story fall once in the facility. What exactly happened? If not for her mother, who arrived just “in time to save her life,” according to Mamie’s GoFundMe page, she may have been lost to her family. However, things went from bad to worse after she was admitted to a Vancouver hospital. Mamie shockingly suffered a five-story fall from a hospital walkway, resulting in her being placed on life support. How and why she fell are still being investigated. A spokesperson for the hospital confirmed to that “an incident happened” but refused to go into further detail. “In cases related to patient safety, an internal critical incident review is conducted to determine exactly what happened and to make recommendations for improved patient safety,” the rep said. However, Mamie’s parents insist they have “a case” against the hospital, and point the finger at hospital staff. In speaking with the LA Times, Mamie’s mother, Nicole Rockmann, said that any potential legal action they take would be considered a “negligence-type case.” “We have a case,” she said. “All we care about is that Mamie can make a recovery and that she’s alive and that she’s fighting and that she’s strong. A bat landed on (and bit) Taylor Momsen on stage. Now that’s some Gossip, GIRL! Taylor Momsen has been making headlines for her music performances since she was much younger. Young enough that her fan base was much creepier. This time, however, it’s not the Gossip Girl alum’s planned performance that’s raising eyebrows. A very unplanned guest star crashed the stage. The bat landed on Taylor Momsen’s thigh during her performance. A bat landed on the singer’s thigh during the performance. At first, she didn’t even realize that it was there. As you can see in the videos that Taylor Momsen posted to her Instagram, audience members noticed before she did. Soon, however, Momsen was asking crew members for help. There was, after all, a bat clinging to her thigh. Soon, the bat flew off. “I must really be a witch,” Taylor Momsen joked to the audience about the bat visit. She had been performing the song, “Witches Burn,” during the incident. Very serendipitous. Though not all wild animal bites involve rabies (in fact, biting can be a normal panic response in a small, disoriented mammal), it is an important precaution. Wild bats seldom want to land on humans, let alone bite us. Bats want to eat insects or fruit while avoiding predators. Humans are apex predators that dwarf the small, flying mammals. Rabies could drive a wild animal to approach a human and bite. However, the deafening sounds of a music performance could disorient a bat’s sonar, prompting the lil’ fella to land wherever he can. That won’t stop the bat unless it can read. But it certainly brought a smile to Taylor Momsen’s face. She’ll need that sense of humor as she continues to receive preventative rabies treatments. But fans have a theory, you guys! A number of members of the Bates family — whose own reality series, Bringing Up Bates, ran for 10 seasons on Up TV — commented on Jason’s revealing upload. More than that, fans will get something they’ve been clamoring for: more aliens! “Eddie and Venom are on the run,” read the movie’s logline. “Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.” ‘Venom 3’s Cast: Brand New Faces, But Where’s Michelle Williams? In the trailer, we meet all the brand new characters joining the franchise. Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor join the fold as scientists hell bent on stopping the alien invasion, with a specific interest in Eddie and Venom. We also see the return of Mrs. Chen, played by Peggy Lu. But you know who you don’t see? Anne Weying. You know, Michelle Williams’ character. Anne Weying is a pretty important person in Eddie/Venom’s life. Not only is she Eddie’s ex, but in the sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage , she actually morphed into She-Venom. Are you really going to tell us that the trilogy is going to close out without her?! Well, we have some good news and bad news. The bad news: her name isn’t anywhere to be found on the cast list. Between that and her not showing her face in the trailer, it doesn’t look good. Except that Michelle really, REALLY loves the franchise! With The Real Housewives of New Jersey sagging in the ratings, and with many out there wondering whether or not The Real Housewives of New Jersey will even be canceled after this upcoming season, we now have a significant update on the franchise. Such a decision marks the first time this series will ever conclude without such a special. A source has told Page Six this is due to the “divisive state of the show,” while People Magazine quotes someone who had said the following of the surprising move: “A reunion is meant to have resolution and it’s clear in the season final that there is no path forward in that type of setting. So the network is figuring out a different concept to wrap up the season.” Danielle on The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14. (Bravo) How mysterious, huh?
