As you may have heard about, Rob Marciano has been fired. The meteorologist, who was hired back by ABC back in 2014, was let go by executives this week after he had been temporarily banned last year from the Good Morning America set due to allegedly inappropriate behavior. Even amid this punishment, however, Marciano continued to report on the weather from other locations. It was an unusual situation, to say the least. Which, some believe, was related to his divorce from wife Eryn. “The last couple of years have been very difficult. I didn’t want this and tried to save the marriage, but we are sadly divorcing,” the then-ABC employee said at the time, adding: “My focus now is on my kids.” (ABC/Heidi Gutman) According to various sources, Marciano developed an anger problem in the wake of this split. According to Page Six, though, Marciano also developed a rivalry with fellow meteorologist Ginger Zee… which may have also contributed to his job loss. Marciano joined Good Morning America in 2014 to take Zee’s weekend gig after Zee had been promoted to the daily GMA set to replace chief meteorologist Sam Champion — who had left at the time for the Weather Channel. An insider now tells Page Six Marciano had a “hot temper” that caused problems on the program, while Zee was equally capable of being “nasty.” “I think she brought out the worst in him. Conversely, an anonymous insider told People that all these criticisms of Marciano have been “vicious,” untrue and unfair, adding: “[The] Rob Marciano being portrayed is not the Rob Marciano we know.” Try telling that to Ginger Zee, though, apparently. Multiple individuals have told this outlet that Marciano and Zee frequently butted heads. “She treated him as a beta and she was the alpha,” one media executive said, for example. “But they were much more peers in terms of experience, more than Ginger was with Sam.” Zee has not issued any sort of statement about this report or about Marciano’s termination in general. Jenelle Evans is moving on in her personal life. But she may be moving backward in her professional life. The former Teen Mom participant — who was fired by MTV back in 2019 after her husband, David Eason, shot and killed the family dog, which led to a Child Protective Services investigation — just may appear again on this franchise. Might Evans just be leaning on a friend amid her split from Eason? Yes, absolutely. But it’s worth noting that DeJesus is in the process of filming Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, which has prompted many to wonder whether cameras will capture this reunion and whether Evans will be featured again at some point on the program that made her quasi famous. I filed for separation. Britney Spears’ divorce from Sam Asghari is now complete. In August of 2023, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari split. Though they have never publicly explained the split in detail, rumored reasons include everything from cheating allegations to simply spending too much time apart. However, in the wake of their breakup, both Britney and Sam have refused to trash each other despite ample opportunities. Now, the months-long and often painful divorce process is over. According to the report, the two filed a Stipulated Judgment alongside Britney’s response to Sam’s initial divorce petition. Technically, there’s one final step, TMZ notes — waiting for the judge to sign off. But with no anticipated obstacles, the marriage will soon be consigned to history. Prenuptial agreements are often a good idea in marriages, but can become vital (depending upon local marriage laws) when one party is significantly wealthier than the other. In this case, the prenup essentially leaves Sam Asghari with nothing following the divorce. Britney did pay (very pricey) rent for Sam’s new digs after they split. And reports said that she planned to part ways by giving him a six-figure check — though it’s unclear if that happened. Divorce plans can change dramatically in eight months. That does not appear to have happened. There was also a report that Sam believed that Britney had been unfaithful. One alarming claim alleged that Britney been physically abusive towards him during the marriage. No actual mention of any of that appears to have arisen from the actual divorce itself. In fact, Sam has vocally defended Britney following their separation. And Britney trashed other exes in her best-selling memoir but did not condemn Sam at all. Some people were clearly hoping that this would be a big, ugly mess. Some specific tabloids that profited from hysteria over Britney’s behavior in the 2000s seemed eager for a prolonged, bitter divorce. But that doesn’t seem to be the case. And while it’s always possible that Britney and Sam’s divorce had a grim underside that didn’t come to light in paperwork, sometimes people just grow apart. They had years of happiness together. As previously reported, Jen Tran will make history in the near future. Why? Because she has been named the next Bachelorette, becoming the first Asian-American in history to land the role. ABC made the announcement in late March, with Jesse Palmer interviewing Tran weeks after she was eliminated as a contestant on Joey Graziadei’s season of The Bachelor. The Bachelorette is one of our favorite shows in reality TV history. (ABC) We’ve now learned, however, that Tran was not the network’s first choice. “I was offered the role,” Maria Georgas said on the May 1 episode of Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast. “I mean, it was mine until I said it wasn’t. And yeah, it became very overwhelming to the point where I had to decline.” Georgas also appeared opposite Graziadei, advancing all the way to his final four aspiring wives this past winter. (ABC) In this revealing new interview, the reality star said the casting decision was so “set in stone” that she had even went ahead with fittings. The long-time meteorologist was let go by the network on Tuesday, although neither Marciano nor anyone affiliated with the network has spoken in public about the reason why just yet. Marciano had been with ABC News since 2014, although was banned from the network studio in New York City last year for a period of one month… reportedly due to inappropriate behavior. (ABC) “He was found to have done something … that was improper, but he was punished for it, and they still haven’t let him return,” an insider told Page Six in March 2023. Even during this punishment, Marciano continued to report on the weather from other locations. It was an unusual situation. And many observers believe it was related to the journalist’s divorce. Across all of Gumball’s performances to date, the panelists have guessed that Gumball might be everyone from Chace Crawford to Kevin Jonas to Derek Hough. Late on Tuesday, Tori Roloff shared a concerning update on her Instagram Story, alerting followers to what sounds like a chaotic situation at home — for herself and for her husband, in particular. (TLC) “Today has been a doozy and I feel like it’s times like these that God is telling us all to slow down,” began the mother of three in her post, adding: “We ended up at urgent care to help get Zach some relief from sickness.” Tori didn’t elaborate any further. Even a decade later, the explosive fight between dance teacher Abby Lee Miller and the Hyland sister’s mother is still talked about. A generation of fans even act it out on TikTok. As the girls discuss on the Dance Moms: The Reunion special, there is still a lot of trauma to be dealt with regarding what happened. So, let’s revisit what went down and why Paige and Brooke Hyland left Dance Moms when they were kids. Abby Lee Miller spent a lot of the first four seasons playing favorites (Maddie Ziegler) and pitting the girls against each other (poor Chloe!). In the now infamous Season 4 episode, the sisters’ mother Kelly Hyland got into a heated argument with Abby Lee when, out of the blue, a new girl is brought into the company on a competition day. Kelly felt Abby had brought in surprise newcomer Kalani Hilliker purposefully as an ambush and to replace her two children. Abby denied it, but Kelly was not detoured. Things unfortunately got physical when Abby walked up to Kelly and pointed her finger in her face. Then, Abby motioned as if she was going to bite Kelly, who is turn grabbed her hair and pushed her away. While the situation was later defused by the other mothers, Brooke and Paige quit ALDC after that. And in fact, they never danced again. However, the charges were eventually dropped. Kelly agreed to go to counseling and to stay away from Abby for six months. Six months quickly turned into forever, as the girls quit dancing with Abby. But the legal battles were just beginning. Kelly and her daughters filed a lawsuit against Abby and the show’s production company in November 2014, months after the explosive fight. The family claimed the girls that they suffered from “defamation” and “emotional distress” because of the show, according to THR. They alleged Abby had a “domineering and often bullying and insulting leadership style” and wanted $5 million in damages. It’s starting to feel a lot like 2007 around these celebrity gossip parts. And that’s not a good thing when it comes to Britney Spears. Over the past several days, fans of the singer have found new reasons to be concerned about her well-being, with insiders saying Spears is nearly broke and that her mental health remains in very poor condition. Spears then uses these surroundings to take some jabs at her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, for having appeared on the reality show I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here. Britney says at one point, for example, that her group os heading into the “jungle,” where she adds that her sibling was getting “bathed” on television. Instead, she quickly breaks out a British accent and details how she has a vagina rash because she peed in the bushes and says she is out of wine and would like to go on a helicopter ride. Rob Marciano is out of a job. The long-time ABC News and Good Morning America meteorologist is no longer with the company, a source has confirmed to multiple news outlets. The reason why remains a mystery, however. Rob Marciano has been let go from ABC and Good Morning America. Prior to his official departure, the broadcaster had been temporarily banned from the network studio in New York City — reportedly due to allegedly inappropriate behavior. However, he continued to report the weather from outside locations. “He was found to have done something … that was improper, but he was punished for it, and they still haven’t let him return,” an insider told Page Six in March 2023. (ABC) Back then, this same outlet claimed Marciano was dealing with “anger” issues while doing through a divorce after 11 years of marriage. “He made people feel uncomfortable. There was a period where there were some issues, a number of alarming events,” a second source said last year. When Dance Moms fans tune in to the reunion special on May 1, fans of the West Side Story star will be surprised not to see her sitting next to JoJo Siwa or the other girls. Or maybe they won’t. To be honest, there’s a lot of bad blood between Maddie and the dance teacher who put these dancers on the map via reality TV. And because Maddie Ziegler skipped the reunion, she now has some beef with the other girls. During the special, JoJo even took things a step further and called out all of the girls, like Maddie, who turned down the reunion special because of her complicated relationship with Abby Lee Miller. “Them not being here is kind of like, ‘Let me erase my past, pretend it never happened, shove it down the drain,’” JoJo said to the other girls. “When it’s like, that’s why you are who you are.” It seems most other girls agreed with JoJo, like Kalani, who can be seen nodding along, and Kendall Vertes, who added: “We would not be here without Dance Moms. These days, she’s off TV and into the movie scene, along with dancing and modeling. In not wanting to look back, Maddie is most definitely looking ahead to a bright future in Hollywood. After her breakout role in West Side Story, she recently starred alongside Wednesday actress Jenna Ortega in The Fallout. She has another film, Fitting In, coming out in 2024. In short, Maddie is growing up and growing away from the little girl people saw on-screen. And honestly, isn’t that the way it should be? “I’m not always going to be that little girl,” she told Teen Vogue in March. “I’m still that same goofy, loving, hard-working girl, but I’m also changing and growing.
