The theme is good, and the objective is simple: survive until rescue arrives. A nice touch is the element of having to repair the campaign; at least it has something different. It's a campaign with a slightly high difficulty level, as there aren't many healing items. If you're looking for a fast but challenging map, I suppose this is the map you're looking for, I think. 4. Our dearest community, Earlier this year, we shared that we would be taking a temporary pause from running our World of Trucks events. We also know how much these events mean to our #BestCommunityEver and that many of you have missed taking part. Today, we are pleased to confirm that we have decided to resume our World of Trucks events in the familiar format you already know, while the wider rework continues. This means you can once again look forward to coming together for events throughout the months ahead. First up will be Cruising South Dakota, followed by Cruising Iceland and our seasonal Halloween and Christmas events later this year. We will share full details ahead of each event. Our teams will continue working on the underlying systems and infrastructure that support these events, with the goal of bringing much more of the event experience directly into Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. This includes the improvements we previously described, such as the ability to view and redeem rewards, earn and view achievements, and follow event progress and community milestones directly in-game. It also involves broader behind-the-scenes changes to support the World of Trucks service in the future. Thank you, as always, for your patience, support, and passion. We are excited to welcome you back to World of Trucks events and hope you will join us for the journeys ahead. We’ll see you on the road. View the full article
  5. In today's blog, we bring you another one of our Community Stories. This time with Trucker Cassie, one of the content creators playing our games, who will tell you all about her job as a real-life truck driver, as well as her passion for Euro Truck Simulator 2! You might know Trucker Cassie from her YouTube or Twitch channels, where she regularly posts videos from her life as a truck driver in Scandinavia, and also gameplay live streams, mostly from ETS2. And today, she will tell you all about her love for trucks! "It's quite random that I started working as a truck driver. I never had any drivers in my family. It was a friend who showed me the world of trucks. He had just gotten his heavy license, and one morning he gave me a ride to school in the oldest Scania I had ever seen. But from that moment, a spark was lit. Maybe I could drive a truck too? It felt so cool and free! So I applied to a trucking school, and the rest is history," Cassie told us. Cassie discovered her passion for truck driving, and now, it's been 13 years since she started this way of life, as she now works part-time as a truck driver and shares her stories on social media. "At the start of my career, I never wanted to stop working. I wanted to beat my earlier record on how many deliveries I could make in a day. I had really found my place in life! But a few years with this lifestyle caused me to burn out, and it forced me to rethink my situation. Today, I work part-time, and I've learnt how important it is to wind down and relax when I can," she says. If you wonder what kind of work Cassie usually does and what her days on the long and beautiful Scandinavian roads look like, she also shares this with us: "I have tried various delivery types, such as gravel, wood chips, and powder tanker. Now I'm delivering various goods from Sweden to Norway. And when I'm done with that delivery, I normally load fish in Norway. The fishing industries can be located in tricky places! Through small towns and up and down steep and curvy hills. It can really be a challenge during wintertime. After the fish is loaded, I drive to Denmark, where another driver picks up my trailer and drives it somewhere in Europe! Then I pick up a load from Denmark and drive home to Sweden again." What Cassie loves the most about her job are the amazing views she sees along the way as well as the solitude this life can bring. "I get to listen to music and podcasts, and I rarely talk to customers. I also get to bring my Chihuahua, Happy," she told us. This interesting merge of the two worlds is something we really love, as we have heard similar stories where either members of our community started driving trucks for a living because of our games, or long-term truck drivers that found their passion in Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator. "I have been a truck driver for a while before I discovered Euro Truck Simulator 2. A colleague of mine showed me the game, and I thought it was a silly idea to drive a truck for work, then get home, and play a truck simulator after work. And now look at me," Cassie shared. So what is actually so satisfying about playing a truck simulator when you are a real-life truck driver? "I am having the time of my life when I play ETS2 on my livestreams! Because in a real truck, you have a lot of responsibility; to deliver the cargo, the truck, and yourself to the delivery place safely. Always being alert. But when I'm playing the game, I can be social with the chat, drive together with the viewers, answer questions, and just have a good time. And the consequences won't be too big when my digital truck makes a kickflip off a mountain because I was focusing on what the chat is saying. I also like to compare the real-life roads to the simulator! And point out the landmarks and differences from the real places," Cassie explained. What actually inspired Cassie to start creating content on social media was kind of a coincidence, but from there, it helped her to grow a big community of over 160 thousand followers on YouTube alone. "I started my main YouTube channel after I got the offer of being in a reality TV show years ago. I had to film my workday as a truck driver myself, and then send the footage to the TV production. The TV show was canceled before it had even started, though, and there I was with a vlog. I realized I could put it together myself and post it on YouTube! So that's what I did. A few videos in, and I suddenly gained thousands of subscribers in a few weeks' time. It was crazy! I also have a smaller YouTube channel, where I post gaming content and previous livestreams. I decided to have two separate channels since the content is quite different. And of course, my Twitch channel, where I do livestreams when I have the energy for it," Cassie told us. This gave us a great opportunity to ask Cassie, a real truck driver, how Euro Truck Simulator 2 compares with the real world, and she was happy to answer that: "I think Euro Truck Simulator 2 is very accurate to real life trucking! Especially when you have a steering wheel and pedals. I know a few people who have practiced reversing trailers in the game, then tried it out in real life. And they nailed it! All because they have practiced in the game." We were also curious how Cassie's driving differs from the real world to how she drives in Euro Truck Simulator 2. "I definitely test the limits and do more daring stuff in the game! Somehow, people get surprised when they see my real-life work videos, and notice I actually know how to drive a truck. But I don't blame them, after seeing my stunts in ETS2. It would be nice to have a pink MAN truck in real life as well! But until now, I'll get to be pretty in pink in the simulator," she answered. If you think this life would be for you and you are also thinking about taking on a truck driver career, Cassie has a message for you! "I really recommend people try out Euro Truck Simulator 2 if they are curious about becoming truck drivers in real life. It is a pretty big decision, with lots of money needed to get a heavy license with all the needed certificates. And I think ETS2 gives a great hint of what trucking can feel like! Also, it's a really fun activity to bring home your non-trucking friends and let them reverse a trailer in the game! Better than any board game I have played :)," she concluded. We hope you have enjoyed Cassie's story! If you did, remember to give our X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky, and TikTok a follow so you won't miss similar blogs and also updates from our games straight to your feed. Today, we're excited to take you on a journey to another destination coming to the upcoming Isle of Ireland DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 - the county town of Cavan! Located in the heart of Ireland's lakeland region, Cavan is known for its picturesque countryside, rolling green landscapes, and rich agricultural heritage. As our map team continues to recreate the unique atmosphere of Ireland, we knew this important regional hub deserved its place on the road network of the Isle of Ireland DLC. While exploring the area, keen-eyed drivers may spot a stone wall or even a rugby field, well-known local landmarks that help bring even more regional identity to the town and its surroundings. Combined with carefully crafted roads, vegetation, and architecture, these details help create a location that feels true to its real-world counterpart. Of course, no town in Euro Truck Simulator 2 would be complete without plenty of opportunities for work. In Cavan, truckers will be able to deliver cargo to several industries that play an important role in the local economy. One of the key destinations is a local oil supplier, serving businesses and communities across the region. Whether you're hauling fuel products or supporting regional logistics, this depot offers an important link in the supply chain. Drivers looking for refrigerated or packaged cargo will also find work at a food distribution depot. Acting as a hub for incoming and outgoing goods, this facility ensures products reach stores and customers throughout the island. In addition, a supermarket depot provides another busy destination for deliveries. From everyday consumer goods to fresh produce, truckers will have a variety of cargoes to transport while helping keep shelves stocked across the region. Our teams have worked hard to capture the atmosphere of this charming Irish town, from its characteristic rural surroundings to its industrial areas and landmarks. We hope that Cavan will become a memorable stop on your journeys across the Isle of Ireland. We look forward to sharing more previews from the Isle of Ireland DLC in the future. If you're excited to discover, explore, and travel across the Isle of Ireland, be sure to add this upcoming map expansion to your Steam Wishlist! Don't forget to follow us on X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky, TikTok, and YouTube, or sign up for our newsletter for all the latest news. Until next time, keep those wheels turning, and happy haulin'! https://store.steampowered.com/app/3851260/Euro_Truck_Simulator_2__Isle_of_Ireland/ View the full article
  9. After years away from the spotlight, True Damage could finally be making its League of Legends comeback. According to a new leak, Riot Games is reportedly preparing new True Damage skins for Season 3 Act 2 of 2026, potentially bringing the virtual hip-hop group back for its first major League appearance since 2019. The timing makes plenty of sense. Riot has officially confirmed that Season 3 Act 2 will put a special spotlight on music, with multiple musical reveals planned for the upcoming act. In brief: True Damage is reportedly returning during League of Legends Season 3 Act 2. New True Damage skins are said to be part of the comeback. Riot has officially confirmed that Act 2 will heavily focus on music. The champions receiving the rumored new skins have not yet been confirmed. True Damage Could Finally Return in League of Legends According to League of Legends Leaks & News, better known as LeagueOfLeaks, True Damage is expected to return with new skins during Season 3 Act 2. The original True Damage lineup consists of Akali, Ekko, Qiyana, Senna, and Yasuo. Riot introduced the group at Worlds 2019 alongside its debut single, GIANTS, with all five champions receiving True Damage skins. True Damage has largely remained dormant since then, making a potential 2026 comeback particularly significant for fans who have waited nearly seven years for another proper release. Season 3 Act 2 Is Going All-In on League Music There have already been several signs that Riot is preparing something much bigger around its virtual music universe. Riot Games Music recently returned to social media with a teaser featuring several of League’s musical acts, including K/DA, HEARTSTEEL, Pentakill, and True Damage. Riot has also officially stated that Season 3 Act 2 will feature a strong music focus, while reports and teasers have already pointed toward new HEARTSTEEL and K/DA content. Which Champions Are Getting New True Damage Skins? As of writing, that remains the biggest mystery. The leak indicates new True Damage skins are coming, but the exact champion lineup, skin tiers, pricing, and release date have not been revealed. It is also unclear whether Riot plans to reunite Akali, Ekko, Qiyana, Senna, and Yasuo or introduce completely new members. Until Riot makes an official announcement, the new True Damage skins should still be treated as unconfirmed information. However, with Riot openly teasing a music-heavy Act 2 and True Damage appearing in its recent music promotion, a comeback is looking increasingly possible. 11. League of Legends Patch 26.18 is here with another round of champion balance changes, targeting several picks that have become too strong while giving some struggling champions a much-needed boost. Riot is also making adjustments to Cassiopeia, buffing Guinsoo’s Rageblade, expanding League Classic, and improving ARAM: Mayhem. The patch also celebrates Caps becoming the third player inducted into the League of Legends Hall of Legends, bringing a new event pass alongside Immortalized Legend Tristana and other cosmetics. In brief: Ekko, Kassadin, Master Yi, Viego, and Zaahen are receiving buffs. Bard, Nautilus, Seraphine, Syndra, and Zeri are getting nerfed. Cassiopeia receives a larger adjustment that trades early power for stronger AP scaling. League Classic adds Fiora, Galio, Poppy, Shyvana, and Xin Zhao, while ARAM: Mayhem gets Augment improvements. League of Legends Patch 26.18 Champion Buffs Ekko Riot is giving Ekko more room to scale while also making Timewinder less expensive to use. Q, Timewinder Mana Cost: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 ⇒ 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 Q Return Damage AP Ratio: 60% ⇒ 70% Kassadin Kassadin’s early and mid-game damage is going up without significantly increasing his already powerful late-game scaling. Q, Null Sphere AP Ratio: 70% ⇒ 80% R, Riftwalk Base Damage: 70 / 90 / 110 ⇒ 80 / 95 / 110 Master Yi Master Yi should become slightly more durable as games progress, while Highlander will give him more movement speed at every rank. Armor Growth: 4.5 ⇒ 5 per level R, Highlander Movement Speed: 35 / 45 / 55% ⇒ 40 / 50 / 60% Viego Viego is getting better scaling and additional support for bruiser-oriented builds. Attack Damage Growth: 3.5 ⇒ 4 Passive, Sovereign’s Domination: Now gains additional healing based on bonus health, adding 2% per 500 bonus HP to its target maximum health healing calculation. Zaahen Zaahen’s second Q strike deals more damage, while Riot has also changed how the ability interacts with resurrection effects. Q2 Damage: 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 ⇒ 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 If Q is active when Zaahen enters Resurrection, the ability is now immediately placed on cooldown. League of Legends Patch 26.18 Champion Nerfs Bard Bard has been one of the strongest supports throughout much of 2026, so Riot is reducing his durability. Armor: 34 ⇒ 32 Armor Growth: 5 ⇒ 4.7 per level Nautilus Nautilus is also being targeted after remaining a consistent presence in the support meta. Attack Damage: 61 ⇒ 58 Q, Dredge Line Damage: 85 / 130 / 175 / 220 / 265 ⇒ 85 / 125 / 165 / 205 / 245 The 90% AP ratio remains unchanged. Seraphine Riot is specifically targeting Seraphine’s bot lane performance while attempting to leave support Seraphine mostly unaffected. E, Beat Drop Cooldown: 11 / 10.5 / 10 / 9.5 / 9 seconds ⇒ 11 seconds at all ranks Syndra Syndra loses some mana sustain from her passive while Force of Will becomes available less frequently. Passive Splinter Mana: 20 to 255 ⇒ 20 to 199 W, Force of Will Cooldown: 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 / 8 ⇒ 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 seconds Zeri Zeri’s recent rise following buffs to items such as Runaan’s Hurricane and Yun Tal Wildarrows has prompted Riot to reduce her burst and wave-clear potential. W Damage AD Ratio: 120% total AD ⇒ 100% total AD W Wall Damage AD Ratio: 180% total AD ⇒ 150% total AD Her W base damage remains unchanged. Cassiopeia Adjustments in Patch 26.18 Cassiopeia is one of the biggest individual champion changes in Patch 26.18. Riot wants to reduce some of her strength in professional play while allowing AP-heavy builds to scale better. Passive, Serpentine Grace Movement Speed Bonus: 6% to 40% ⇒ 5% to 36% Q, Noxious Blast Damage: 75 / 110 / 145 / 180 / 215 ⇒ 65 / 100 / 135 / 170 / 205 AP Ratio: 65% ⇒ 75% E, Twin Fang Mana Cost: 40 ⇒ 45 Base AP Ratio: 10% ⇒ 20% Enhanced AP Ratio: 55% ⇒ 45% Total Enhanced AP Ratio: Remains 65% Damage: 52 to 120 ⇒ 50 to 120 R, Petrifying Gaze Damage: 150 / 250 / 350 ⇒ 125 / 225 / 325 AP Ratio: 50% ⇒ 75% Overall, Cassiopeia loses some base power and mobility but gets noticeably stronger AP scaling, particularly on Q and her ultimate. Guinsoo’s Rageblade Buff Patch 26.18 also includes a small quality-of-life buff for Guinsoo’s Rageblade following an earlier interaction change. Seething Strike Stack Duration: 3 seconds ⇒ 4 seconds The extra second should make it easier for Rageblade users to maintain their stacks between targets and during short breaks in combat. League Classic Gets Five More Champions League Classic receives its biggest champion expansion yet in Patch 26.18, adding older versions of five champions: Fiora Galio Poppy Shyvana Xin Zhao These champions use versions of their historical kits, including Fiora’s Blade Waltz, Galio’s Idol of Durand, and Poppy’s infamous Diplomatic Immunity ultimate. League Classic Balance Changes Several existing Classic champions are also being adjusted. Anivia Nerfs Q Missile Speed: 950 ⇒ 850 Q Manual Detonation Stun: 1 ⇒ 0.75 seconds Q Manual Detonation Radius: 230 ⇒ 210 Minimum Q Recast Delay: 0 ⇒ 0.25 seconds Gangplank Buffs Q Bonus Gold: 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 ⇒ 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 E Attack Damage: 12 / 19 / 26 / 33 / 40 ⇒ 14 / 22 / 30 / 38 / 46 E Movement Speed: 8 / 11 / 14 / 17 / 20% ⇒ 10 / 14 / 18 / 22 / 26% Heimerdinger Buffs Heimerdinger receives increased health regeneration and turret damage, lower W mana costs, and improvements to his E cooldown and cast range. Kayle Buff Passive AP Gain: 30% bonus AD ⇒ 30% total AD This significantly increases the amount of Ability Power Kayle can receive from Holy Fervor. Malzahar Changes Malzahar gets better attack speed and improved Voidlings, but his Q AP ratio drops from 80% to 70%. Riot has also fixed an issue that allowed Nether Grasp to continue dealing damage after the channel ended. Nasus Nerfs Nasus’ Siphoning Strike stacks can no longer critically strike. Wither’s slow now ramps once every second instead of every 0.5 seconds, and Riot has fixed an issue that caused the slow to ramp twice as strongly as intended. Warwick Nerfs Attack Speed: 0.644 ⇒ 0.625 W Cooldown: 24 / 22 / 20 / 18 / 16 ⇒ 30 / 27 / 24 / 21 / 18 seconds R Damage: 250 / 335 / 420 ⇒ 180 / 300 / 420, with its bonus AD ratio unchanged Warwick’s passive damage scaling is also being adjusted. ARAM: Mayhem Changes Riot is continuing to refine ARAM: Mayhem’s Augment system so champions are less likely to receive options that make little sense for their kits. Clown College has been re-enabled, while Spin to Win now increases applicable ultimate damage by 50% instead of 30%. Ultra Hydra also receives a new restriction preventing players from selling Hydra items while holding the Augment. Riot has introduced additional Augment exclusion filters and changed several champion-specific pools to improve the relevance of the choices players receive. Patch 26.18 Bug Fixes and QoL Changes The update includes several additional fixes, including: Baron Nashor’s maximum Void Corruption stacks being higher than intended. Serpent’s Fang’s Shield Reaver damage incorrectly applying Omnivamp. Diana’s ultimate VFX sometimes displaying incorrectly. Viego possessing Kled causing an infinite looping audio effect. League Classic and ARAM: Mayhem also receive their own collection of bug fixes. New Patch 26.18 Skins Patch 26.18 accompanies Caps’ Hall of Legends celebration, with the following skins becoming available on September 10, 2026: Immortalized Legend Tristana Risen Legend Tristana Risen Legend Orianna New Paragon chromas are also coming for Risen Legend Orianna, Elderwood LeBlanc, Empyrean Akali, and Freljord Taliyah, alongside a Mythclimber chroma for Risen Legend Orianna. League of Legends Patch 26.18 is not the biggest Summoner’s Rift balance update of the year, but several of its changes could still shift the meta. Ekko, Kassadin, Master Yi, and Viego all have meaningful improvements to work with, while Bard, Nautilus, Syndra, Seraphine, and Zeri players will need to adjust to their respective nerfs. Meanwhile, Cassiopeia’s redistribution of power toward AP scaling could be one of the most interesting changes to watch as players settle into the new patch. 13. The Coven universe is making another return to League of Legends, with Riot revealing four new skins for Janna, Mel, Anivia, and Urgot. While Janna and Mel officially join the Coven, Anivia and Urgot take on the monstrous Old God side of the same universe. The new lineup is currently heading to the PBE for Patch 26.19, with Coven Janna confirmed as a Legendary skin. Riot has also revealed the official splash arts for all four cosmetics. In brief: Coven Janna, Coven Mel, Old God Anivia, and Old God Urgot are the four new skins. Coven Janna is confirmed to be a Legendary skin. The skins are expected to release with League of Legends Patch 26.19. Patch 26.19 is scheduled for September 23, 2026. All New Coven and Old God Skins The upcoming skin lineup includes: Coven Janna Coven Mel Old God Anivia Old God Urgot Although Anivia and Urgot do not carry the Coven name directly, Old God skins are part of the same dark fantasy universe. The Coven worship and draw power from ancient entities, while the Old God skins represent those terrifying beings themselves. Coven Janna Coven Janna is easily the centerpiece of this release. Riot has confirmed that it is a Legendary skin, giving Janna her first new Legendary cosmetic in years. Her splash art transforms the usually graceful wind spirit into something much darker. Janna appears with a feathered headdress, black wings, pale hair, and red accents while surrounded by the enormous form of an ancient bird-like entity. Coven Mel Mel also joins the Coven with a completely different take on her normally regal appearance. The splash art keeps her elegant silhouette while adding black, crimson, and gold elements associated with the Coven universe. Her new lore describes Mel receiving twisted death magic after being cast out, putting her directly against the Eclipse Knights. Old God Anivia Old God Anivia may have one of the most dramatic splash arts of the entire set. Instead of simply giving Anivia darker feathers, Riot has turned her into a disturbing owl-like creature with multiple glowing red eyes. Her skin lore identifies her as the Twilight Raptor, an ancient being that despises humanity for squandering nature’s gifts. Old God Urgot Urgot’s new skin takes his already intimidating design even further. Old God Urgot appears as a gigantic corrupted monster covered in dark armor and glowing red energy. His lore reveals that after being slain by the Eclipse Knights, Urgot returned as an embodiment of mortality and decay. New Coven Skins Price Riot has not yet published final store prices for the entire set. However, based on Janna’s confirmed Legendary classification and Riot’s usual skin pricing structure, the expected prices are: SkinExpected PriceCoven Janna1820 RPCoven Mel1350 RPOld God Anivia1350 RPOld God Urgot1350 RP Janna’s Legendary status makes the 1820 RP price the expected tier. The other three appear to be standard modern skins, making 1350 RP the likely price unless Riot announces otherwise. Coven Skins Release Date The new Coven skins are expected to arrive with League of Legends Patch 26.19. Riot’s official 2026 patch schedule currently lists Patch 26.19 for September 23, 2026. The skins are being tested on the PBE ahead of their live release, so Riot could still make adjustments to models, effects, animations, or other details before launch. 14. Hello Responders! We know many of you have been patiently waiting since our Beyond Armageddon blogpost and it’s now time to share more about what’s coming next starting with Resupply, our first post-launch content update. These updates will continue to include important fixes and improvements, but also deliver new or expanded features based on community feedback. This update entered development prior to Armageddon launch, and as such focuses on content we wanted to make a bit better shortly after 1.0. Future content updates with larger features are in development, so stay tuned as we keep working on our 2026 releases and beyond! Here’s a few previews into what you can expect next week on September 15th: Familiar Places, New SpacesResupply brings a whole new alternative scenario for Pottsville, one that sees Responders dropped all together directly into action on the Downtown rooftops. Tasked with aligning antennas to gain further access to the map, bodies must be found and burned to prevent additional NPV-26 outbreaks as they reach the outskirts to extract. This reverse run allows players to experience this map’s familiar surroundings in a whole new way! Lewiston is also receiving some much smaller objective flow changes, aimed at adding a bit more to do in areas that lacked engagement prior. This includes additional events at Gas Station and Park that should make the map feel more similar to the rest of the Objective experiences in length. Getting AttachedAttachments are an area we began to give more focus in our last Early Access update, Revelation, by giving them more depth on how they improve a firearm’s capability. In Resupply, we’ll be adding a whole host of additional attachments that help you customize each gun to the next level! From laser sights that reduce your spread and improve your hip-fire accuracy, muzzle brakes that dramatically decrease your experienced recoil, to compensators that provide a smaller benefit to both recoil and spread; Handguns and rifles have many more options to adjust their comfort and lean into a specific playstyle. For shotgun fans, you can now discover chokes in the wild that give a serious boost to your lethality at medium range! Controller ImprovementsFor controller users, we’ve made a lot of improvements and fixes to various areas and menus where control could be lost unexpectedly and scenarios in which loadout and cosmetic selections can skip or fail to apply. We’re continuing to take in feedback on menu navigation and are working on additional fixes for 1.2! We also know that controller players want more choices in how their input behaves in-game, and while we continue to work on adding those options, in Resupply we’ll be reducing the current deadzones by 50%, making joystick movement much more responsive! Additional Fixes & Known IssuesIn Resupply, we’ve got several fixes coming to address remaining gameplay and UI issues from Armageddon, including a fix to an issue preventing players from mantling after rapidly picking up and dropping objective items as well as additional issues with objective interactables. Achievements also have fixes to track progression more consistently and during matches as opposed to after. For PlayStation Responders, we’re in the final stages of readying a fix for specific trophies not progressing or completing and will likely release it as part of a hotfix. Finally, a quick note on a persistent issue involving an inability to squad up with friends: We’re still investigating the potential factors at play that causes this behavior, and have narrowed it down to how certain internet connection types interface with our partying system. A universal fix still hasn’t been discovered but various users have reported seeing improvement via switching between Ethernet & Wi-Fi, adjusting their NAT type, and disabling a VPN if they are utilizing one. We’ll continue to look into potential solutions as more information becomes known! 15. Today, we're heading to Bristol, a historic city in the south-west of England known for its harbour, maritime & industrial heritage and iconic landmarks. We’re excited to bring Bristol to life as a brand new city in our UK Rework project for Euro Truck Simulator 2. Our talented map and asset teams have been working hard to recreate its distinctive character, landmarks and industries for players to discover. So, what can you expect to find? Let us show you! Located in the south-west of England, Bristol has long been shaped by its connection to the water. The city grew around the River Avon and became one of Britain's most important ports, playing a major role in maritime trade and engineering. Its location close to the Severn Estuary also places Bristol on an important route towards South Wales, making it a natural gateway between England and Wales. Our recreation of Bristol is divided into two main areas, the city centre and its surrounding road network, and the harbour and logistics area. While everything you see is still in early development, the city centre portion is already progressing well. Drivers will be able to travel along a variety of road networks including Brunel Way, the A4, Hotwell Road, Merchants Road, and the A4018. These routes offer some fantastic views across different parts of Bristol, from its residential streets and riverside scenery to several of the city's best known landmarks. One of the most recognisable sights is the Clifton Suspension Bridge, which spans the Avon Gorge and has become one of Bristol's defining landmarks. Designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the bridge has overlooked the city since the 19th century and can be seen from parts of the road network around the River Avon. Brunel's influence can also be found closer to the harbour with the SS Great Britain. Launched in Bristol in 1843, the ship was one of the most advanced vessels of its time and today remains preserved in the city's historic dockyard. Drivers passing through the area will be able to spot the famous ship and enjoy views across Bristol Marina. Elsewhere in the city centre, you'll come across landmarks such as Cabot Tower, which stands above the city on Brandon Hill, and the Wills Memorial Building, one of Bristol's most distinctive buildings and an important part of the University of Bristol. Queen Elizabeth's Hospital can also be seen along the route through the city. The road network itself includes several notable junctions and intersections too. Among them is St James Barton Roundabout, commonly known as The Bearpit, an instantly recognisable part of Bristol's inner-city road network. Closer to the waterfront, drivers will also discover our Marina Plaza depot, situated among the historic dockside surroundings of Bristol Marina. This part of the harbour has a long connection with shipbuilding, with the nearby Albion Dockyard tracing its history back to the early 19th century. Of course, Bristol's maritime character also plays an important role in its in-game economy. The harbour and logistics area will feature three main depot locations. A logistics warehouse, a car shipping terminal, and a marina yacht dock. Be sure to have a good look around while you're there too, you never know what you might find hidden among the dockside buildings! The Bristol Bus & Coach station is also being recreated, giving players another destination to visit as part of the upcoming Coaches DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2. Whether arriving in the city or setting off on a new journey, it will form part of the growing network of coach destinations being prepared across the reworked UK. We hope you've enjoyed this first look at Bristol, one of the brand-new cities being introduced as part of the UK Rework. We're excited to share more from this project, which will arrive as a free update for all owners of Euro Truck Simulator 2 in the future. Be sure to let us know in the comments what UK city you'd love to see next! Keep on truckin', cheerio! https://store.steampowered.com/app/227300/Euro_Truck_Simulator_2/ View the full article
  16. Hello Responders! Earlier today, we hosted a Reddit AMA to answer some questions about our future goals and content we're working on as well as any other topics the community had. We're now here to share these Q&A responses so even those who don't visit Reddit know what we've said. As always, the best way to stay informed is joining our Discord where we chat regularly as well as host events like the ongoing cat bracket. With that out of the way, let's dive right into the info: Question 1:Will there be a level lock for difficulties? NMRIH2 Dev Team replied: We've been having this discussion internally since Armageddon launched as this topic came up! Back in Early Access, we tried tying difficulties to character levels which proved unpopular and prevented skilled players from power leveling if they chose to. We're continuing to think on this but currently don't plan to introduce barriers to our current difficulties. Hell Mode will have additional barriers in place like account and character accomplishments to help preserve its endgame status! Question 2:Are there any plans to reintroduce any more cut content from the legacy build? Maxx replied: Yes, as we continue to look to develop the game further we'll continue to consider past ideas and content again if it makes sense for the modern game. We definitely won't bring everything back but continue to think about aspects of legacy builds that could work better now. Question 3:Will there be an airport map? ✈️ Cenelder replied: This is one of the many settings we feel would be cool! We've got a lot of ideas that we hope to work through and this could be one that comes down the road. Not in the short-term but it's on our mind! Question 4:Will there be a roadmap? Kryptek replied: Yes! We already have a blogpost that dives into our short-term goals but we also hope to share more of the rest of the year soon. We've been taking some time to make sure we've got the right priorities before listing more to make sure what we convey is reliable! Question 5:Is there any chance we’ll be getting a ‘takedown’ attack when sneaking up behind zombies? NMRIH2 Dev Team replied: Cool idea, not something we're currently planning to add! Question 6:Will there be more clothing options or skins possibly to buy like being able to buy a full military combat fit, like what the army zombies wear or even like a hazmat type skin/outfits? Cenelder replied: Yes, absolutely! Both earned and DLC/purchasable. Question 7:Will there be a mall map like dawn of the dead? NMRIH2 Dev Team replied: We all love Dawn of the Dead. Literally all of us. 😉 Question 8:Will there be any chance of mod support? At least for custom maps. Maxx, Cenelder, Essbuh & Kryptek replied: This is a conversation we've had for a long time, both internally and with our community. Currently, this is still something that isn't planned. There's a lot of reasoning behind that we may have not shared widely, so here: The way that NMRIH2 was built over time makes its structure difficult for modding to be implemented as a feature. The journey we went through Early Access and how the game evolved means there's a lot of connected systems and dependencies that can't easily be modified. To create those tools would take most of our technical resources upwards of 6+ months of solely working on the functionality, meaning the rest of the game's development would be heavily impacted if not stopped. That's also before considering how players would be able to interface with these tools (e.g. platforms, documentation, integration/separation from the game's progression) We know that if we were to implement mod support, players would rightfully expect a robust toolset that actually enables the type of user-generated content they want to create. Especially with our history as a mod title, we don't want to underdeliver on something like this if we did undertake it. TL;DR It's not something we're currently planning to work on and if that ever changes we'd let our community know! It's also worth noting that this doesn't mean we aren't looking into other ways to modify your experience (we totally are!) and will share more on those in the future. Question 9:Will there be any random weather effects/time of days for maps? Maxx replied: This is a concept we really like, but currently don't have planned. We have a larger focus on new/improved gameplay contents when it comes to maps so this isn't quite our priority right now. We may revisit in the future! Question 10:Will survival be receiving any new maps in the future and will there ever be more alternate game modes like survival? Maxx & Essbuh replied: Yes 🏕️🔪, and sortof! An alternative way to experience Survival is something we're planning to tackle, but we're not looking to add additional major game mode types. Question 11:Since 6.8 is only supported by the M7, I assume no other 6.8 Gun will be added but can we expect other guns that will Support .45 ? Maxx replied: Bold to assume we'll never add an additional 6.8 gun! That said, we are hoping to to expand our least-supported calibers to have multiple options over time. Question 12:When is Hell Mode coming? NMRIH2 Dev Team replied: Soon™️ EDIT: Soon, in this case, means as soon as we're confident it's ready. It's a priority for us but will take some time to be great. Question 13:Will we ever get to have military customization outfits? Or atleast Like CBRN or MOPP suits and gas masks? Cenelder replied: Yep. Question 14:Is there any plans to expand the melee system? Overheads, jabs etc? Anytime I play a FP melee game, I always think how much better it would be with Chivalry 2’s combat system. Maxx & Kryptek replied: We don't plan to expand melee in the ways that Chivalry tends to. We're a different game with a different goal for our melee system, Zombies aren't ones to respect your honorable parries. That's not to say we won't add to or adjust our melee offerings over time, with more of a focus on the tools and systems you as a player can utilize. Question 15:Is there any plans for a map select? I'm tired of playing the same 1 or 2 over and over Kryptek replied: We've been discussing the feedback around map frequency and selection and while we don't have any adjustments planned soon, it's a topic we'll continue to listen on. In the meantime, playing with a pre-made/LFG squads (shoutout our Discord) is the best way to curate your experience map by map! Question 16:What are the plans in tackling the issues of trolls and griefers who make the important aspect of teamwork very difficult here, not to mention the reports of cheating as well? Kryptek replied: Reporting them is the best way to help us continue to preserve a fun & fair atmosphere! We do take action on individuals that have enough evidence of wrongdoing. Cenelder replied: We've made adjustments to help improve the experience for those that get griefed through early extraction now being on a timer as well as rescue beacons offering up some insurance. We'll continue to keep our eyes out for opportunities to cultivate good behavior. Question 17:Do you guys plan on creating a exclusive progression just for solo mode? Cenelder, Maxx, and Essbuh replied: This is something we hear and are investigating what it would take to make work in a way that fits our goals for the experience. It's a lot of work to adjust various systems to function on a local level and in a way that is satisfying while not hampering the core co-op identity of the game. It's going to take quite a bit of time but we'll update everyone when we have more to share! Question 18:Will you be adding different variations of melee weapons? (Like another weapon with the exact stats of the baseball bat). Or will the new melee weapons all be “unique” Cenelder replied: With the effort it takes to create new weapon models, we'd likely want those to be unique options with new statistics and effects. Xenon replied: We're looking to expand the current weapons suite of weapons to utilize new gameplay ingredients. Questions 19-21:Backpack customization? Also any chance you might divulge more details about the new difficulty being added in the future? Also any chance at an ETA on the responder retirement. Cenelder replied: It's something we'd like to do and we really want to do. Once our current priorities have been tackled, it's more likely to be a feature we could consider adding! NMRIH2 Dev Team replied: We can't give a ton of details yet as we're still actively ideating. What we can share is that Hell Mode will have some additional restrictions, including blocking Rescue Beacons from use. Our current goal is to make the mode extremely hard for us internally to beat, so we'll share more details down the road! Maxx replied: Responder retirement is a big priority for us and also a large feature for us to work on. It'll likely grow over time based on feedback from our players, but the foundation will definitely be released this year! Question 22:Any plans on future character customization? Beards, backpacks, etc?? Cenelder replied: We do plan to expand cosmetic offerings over time, though in the short term it'll be in additional outfit choices as well as an upcoming new female Responder head choice. We'll continue to take in feedback about customization! Question 23:Are there plans to improve the vaulting/mantling system and console UI? I’ve lost Responders to simple obstacles like a knocked-over folding chair and a median wall on Power Plant. On console, the recent players list is also frequently blank, the invite menu could be much easier to access, and the reporting screen has a bug that makes reporting players difficult. Are improvements to movement and these console-specific issues being worked on? Kryptek replied: We continue to look to improve issues players face when it comes to navigation, both in menus and gameplay! We've got some fixes coming for both these areas in our 1.1 update, more details later this week. Question 24:Critical supply implementation on ravenrock and future objective maps? Maxx replied: We've heard reports that it's really hard (or feasibly impossible) to secure critical supplies on Raven Rock. This is not intended and we can investigate making sure that critical supplies are something players can find on our Objective maps! Question 25:Will there be any new content for experienced players to enjoy? Kryptek replied: Responder Retirement and Hell Mode are both features geared towards rewarding experience players looking for endgame goals to accomplish. These are some of our main priorities for the first set of updates we're shipping! Question 26:How did you decide which songs to license for the game? - and how feasible would it be to synchronise the music tracks and player voicelines across clients so that everyone hears the same tracks/lines? NMRIH2 Dev Team replied: All music featured and not made in-house are listed in our credits! Most are small artists local to Canada or creations by our own audio team. Question 27:Can you guys tell us what week/day the september update is coming? I've been playing a ton and would love some more variety in weapons/ maps! Kryptek replied: We tend to update on Tuesdays. Not this Tuesday. Question 28:Is there a possibility of map modifiers that would affect the whole match? Some things that come to mind are more fog, more armored zombies due to military occupation, more runners, less health but more zombies on map. NMRIH2 Dev Team replied: That sounds like it'd be a Hell of a good time. 👀 Question 29:Will the console UI be addressed, and is there any word on the gamma and FOV resetting on PlayStation? Kryptek replied: This should be resolved in our upcoming update, more info coming soon! Question 30:Any plans on buffing perks? most of them really dont do much i think everyone is just using the stamina and hp perks and all weight related perks Maxx & Xenon replied: Perks are going to be an area of focus in future updates, we know these have room for improvement both through adjustments to existing options as well as new additions! We're aware of the feedback that some options are underperforming. Thanks to everyone who showed up and submitted questions! While we didn't get to all of them, many more will have answers in the coming weeks as we continue to share our plans for the rest of the year. As stated above, we'll have more to share later this week. Stay safe out there, NMRIH2 Dev Team View the full article
  17. Riot Games has released a new League of Legends Dev Update, revealing some significant changes coming to the game over the next few patches. The biggest announcement is the expansion of voice chat beyond premade parties, but Riot also shared updates for League Classic, ARAM: Mayhem, Ranked 5s, Season 3 Act 2, and Worlds 2026. Team Voice will begin rolling out with Patch 26.20, while League Classic is receiving new champions and quality-of-life improvements much sooner. In brief: Team Voice will launch in NA and Oceania with Patch 26.20. League Classic is getting new champions, faster progression, cheaper runes, and visual improvements. ARAM: Mayhem will return with a music-focused set and new Augments. Ranked 5s returns in Patch 26.18 with a strategic draft system and longer queue windows. League of Legends Team Voice Is Finally Expanding The biggest announcement from the latest LoL Dev Update is Team Voice, which expands League’s existing voice system beyond premade parties. Players will be able to communicate with everyone on their team through voice chat. Riot says it is also improving noise cancellation, connection speeds, and overall stability to make the system more reliable. However, access to speaking in Team Voice will be connected to a player’s Honor level. Riot wants to make sure moderation systems can handle the increased number of players using voice communication before expanding the feature globally. Team Voice will initially launch in: North America Oceania The rollout begins with Patch 26.20, with additional regions planned depending on how the initial launch performs. Riot is also introducing voice skins, allowing players to change how their voice sounds while communicating. The developer says these effects are being designed to remain understandable even during hectic teamfights. League Classic Is Getting New Champions and Progression Changes Riot also provided several updates for League of Legends Classic, an experience inspired by different eras of old-school League. The first Classic Council vote has now concluded, with Riot preparing to reveal the results soon. Meanwhile, the Classic map is receiving brighter lighting and updated textures designed to better capture the old League atmosphere while maintaining readability. Several progression changes are coming as well: Increased IP and XP earning rates Two additional Rune Pages for every player A second Win of the Day bonus Reduced prices for many runes Classic will also expand its champion roster in Patch 26.18, adding Poppy, Xin Zhao, Shyvana, Galio, and Fiora. Graves and three additional Bilgewater champions are scheduled to arrive in the following patch. ARAM: Mayhem Returns With a Music Theme ARAM: Mayhem is also getting another set, this time built around the musical theme of Season 3 Act 2. New Augments will be introduced, while musical acts will appear when players spawn into matches. Riot compares the system to Arena’s Guests of Honor, with different acts helping add more variety between games. New in-game missions and rewards will also be available separately from the regular Mayhem progression track. Riot says Season 3 Act 2 itself will place a major spotlight on music, with its first musical reveal scheduled for September 9, 2026. Ranked 5s Returns in Patch 26.18 Ranked 5s will begin another run starting with Patch 26.18, featuring several changes based on feedback from its June to September period. One of the biggest additions is a new strategic draft phase. Similar to Clash, teams will be given information about their opponents before champion select, allowing players to make more informed picks and bans. Weekend queue windows are also being extended with earlier opening times and later closing times. Rewards from the previous Ranked 5s run will arrive with Patch 26.18, while another set of rewards will be available during the upcoming September through December period. Riot Confirms Worlds 2026 Dates Riot closed the update with another reminder about League of Legends Worlds 2026. The tournament begins on October 15 in Los Angeles, California, before eventually heading to Brooklyn, New York, for the Worlds Final on November 14. With Team Voice finally expanding beyond premade groups, League Classic continuing to grow, and both Mayhem and Ranked 5s receiving new content, Riot’s latest Dev Update outlines a particularly busy end to League of Legends’ 2026 season. From the 14th to the 20th of September, members of our team will once again be heading to Hannover, Germany, for IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, one of the world's leading events for logistics, commercial vehicles, and the transport industry. Having attended IAA in previous years, we’re excited to return in 2026 and meet with many of our friends and partners from across the automotive industry. We’ll also be working alongside a few of our valued partners to bring our truck simulation experience to the DAF Trucks, MAN and Scania booths throughout the event! At the Scania booth, visitors will have the opportunity to experience a special Euro Truck Simulator 2 demonstration running on Scania's own motion simulator setup. Our team has been happy to work closely with Scania to develop the software and a specially prepared demo experience for their simulator, and we're looking forward to seeing visitors get behind the virtual wheel and try it out for themselves during the show. Our friends at DAF and MAN will also both be bringing Euro Truck Simulator 2 to their booths, as we're lending them our very own 4D motion simulators, giving visitors another opportunity to experience our virtual trucking world. We're very happy to support our partners at DAF & MAN for this year's event and to see our motion rigs become part of their presence at the show. Attending IAA is much more than what visitors will see on the show floor for us. Bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, technology providers, and many other representatives from across the transport industry makes an event of this scale an invaluable opportunity for our team. Throughout the week, we plan to meet with a number of our existing partners, continue building the relationships which help us bring the world of trucking into Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, and hopefully make some new connections along the way. Events such as IAA also provide our teams with a valuable opportunity to research the latest developments within the transport industry, see new vehicles and technologies up close, and gather useful references and knowledge for our future work. We're very much looking forward to returning to Hannover and meeting so many familiar faces from across the industry. If you're attending the event yourself, be sure to stop by and check out the simulators; or if you happen to spot some of our team attending, wearing a SCS Software, ETS2 or ATS T-shirt, be sure to stop them and say hello! As always, keep an eye on our social media channels for updates from the show floor, as we will be bringing you some cool photos from the event. We hope to see some of you there! Until till next time, keep on truckin'! View the full article
