Reading Time: 3 minutes We’re just hours away from Stephen Colbert’s final episode of The Late Show, and fans and friends are eagerly paying tribute to the beloved comic. As we previously reported, CBS decided to cancel Colbert’s show in a surprise move that many believe to be politically motivated. No stranger to political controversy himself, Colbert’s longtime friend and fellow late night host Jimmy Kimmel used his platform to address the situation last night. Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel speak onstage during the 71st Emmy Awards at Microsoft Theater on September 22, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Kevin Winter/Getty Images) During his monologue, Kimmel delivered an emotional tribute to his colleague while also taking a very public shot at CBS. And, in true Kimmel fashion, he managed to sneak in a joke that was only half-joking. The ABC host began by announcing his show would not air opposite Colbert’s final broadcast out of respect for his friend and the staff behind The Late Show. “We will be off tomorrow night out of respect for our colleague and friend Stephen Colbert, and the writers, producers, and staff and crew at The Late Show, whose final show on CBS airs opposite ours,” Kimmel said. But while the gesture was gracious, Kimmel also made it abundantly clear that he is still not over CBS pulling the plug on Colbert’s program. “I think you know how I feel about the fact that they’re being pushed out,” Kimmel said. “I hope the people who did the pushing feel ashamed of themselves tonight — although I know they probably won’t.” Kimmel went on to praise Colbert and the Late Show writers and producers, celebrating what they accomplished over the past 11 years while emphasizing that there was never any real bad blood between the two shows. “I think it is most important to congratulate Stephen and the team at The Late Show for all the great work over the last 11 years — and all the great work they will continue to do in other venues, I have no doubt,” he said. “Everyone at that show has always been very gracious to us. We never felt like we were competing against them. It was nothing like the old days of late-night. I always loved being on Stephen’s show. I loved having him on ours. I hope we’re able to do that again. I hope he comes to visit as many times as possible.” Then came Jimmy’s digs at the Trump-friendly bigwigs at CBS’ parent company, Paramount. “On behalf of everyone at our show, we want to say to everyone at your show: It has been a pleasure to work alongside you,” Kimmel concluded. “I will be watching tomorrow night. I hope that those of you who watch our show will also tune in to CBS for the last time. Don’t ever watch it again. But watch tomorrow night to wish Stephen a fond farewell.” CBS recently announced that The Late Show would be replaced by Comics Unleashed, the long-running stand-up clip series created by Byron Allen. Earlier this month, Kimmel also mocked the decision during his annual roast at the broadcast upfronts. “As you know, CBS is turning 11:35 p.m. into a time slot least likely to offend the President with a rerun of Comics Unleashed from 2007 featuring Paula Poundstone and Andy Dick,” Kimmel joked. “Poor Stephen. It’s bad enough to lose your job. Imagine getting replaced by the owner of the Weather Channel.” As for Colbert, the longtime host appears to be trying to keep things in perspective — at least publicly. In an exit interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Colbert reflected on the end of his late-night run. “We’re all big boys. I got to do this for 21 years. What is there to complain about, really?” he said. “I knew that the show had to end at some time. I did not expect it to end this way. But my staff are the only people I’m worried about.” After more than a decade behind The Late Show desk, Colbert’s final guest lineup remains under wraps. But one thing seems certain: Kimmel — and millions of other fans — will be watching. Reading Time: 2 minutes Earlier this year, fans were more than a little surprised when Nicki Minaj declared herself Donald Trump’s biggest fan. Prior to coming out as a MAGA diehard, Nicki had made very few overtly political remarks over the course of her long career. And she expressed her support for Trump at a time when his approval numbers were in freefall, so she couldn’t have thought it would be a savvy career move. Musician Nicki Minaj joins U.S. President Donald Trump on stage as he delivers remarks during the Treasury Department’s Trump Accounts Summit at Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium on January 28, 2026 in Washington, DC. (Photo by Win McNamee/Getty Images) Not surprisingly, lots of people jumped to the conclusion that Nicki was hoping to curry favor with the Trump administration. After all, Trump has a history of offering presidential pardons to his rich and famous supporters. And Nicki has quite a few people in her life who could use pardons. Her husband, Kenneth Petty, is a convicted rapist who is forced to register as a sex offender. In 2022, he was sentenced to a year of house arrest for failing to do so. Then there’s Nicki’s brother, Jelani Maraj, who is serving a life sentence after being convicted of raping his 11-year-old stepdaughter. Needless to say, Nicki’s inner circle could benefit from a few pardons. The situation came to a head earlier this week when famed songwriter Linda Petty tweeted that Minaj must “want something from The Office” (via Radar Online). The tweet prompted Trump media and campaign strategist Alex Bruesewitz to lash out on X (formerly Twitter). “This is a disgusting and disgraceful smear that every Democrat and Trump critic is spreading about Nicki Minaj,” Bruesewitz ranted on X after Perry’s comments gained traction online. “Nicki has never once asked the President for anything. She has only offered assistance and support,” he continued: “The insinuation that she’s looking for anything in return is total garbage.” Nicki is not an American citizen and therefore cannot vote in US elections, but she’s aligned herself with Republican causes in recent months. Minaj has boasted about receiving a Trump “gold card” and inching closer to citizenship, but it doesn’t seem that that’s happened for her yet. These days, lots of folks are watching the situation closely and wondering if Nicki will receive any favors from the White House. It wouldn’t be a good look, but that hasn’t stopped Trump in the past. Reading Time: 3 minutes Rumor has it that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are ironing out a prenup ahead of their summer wedding. Naturally, fans are eager for details. But who pays for what is boring when people have this much money. Is it true that Taylor could be barred from badmouthing him in song after a divorce? Here’s everything that we know so far. Taylor Swift attends the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 26, 2026. (Photo Credit: Frazer Harrison/Getty Images) Is there a prenup? According to reports, Taylor and Travis will be getting a prenup. Many of their fellow Millennials — even those without so much as 1% of Travis’ net worth, let alone Taylor’s — opt to get prenups because it gives them power over their own property, rather than subjecting them to the whims of how property division is handled under divorce laws wherever they happen to live. In this case, we’re talking about a guy with a solid 8-figure (and growing) net worth and a billionaire musician. Taylor and Travis are, obviously, not making their prenup details public — and have not officially confirmed that it exists. However, online speculation as to what the document may include and preclude has taken off on social media like wildfire. As of this time, the prenup has not leaked. Given that the only people who likely have access to such a document would be Taylor, Travis, and their extremely well-paid attorneys, we do not expect for that to change. Speaking of attorneys, Page Six spoke to Sarah Luetto. She doesn’t represent either party, but her law firm deals extensively in marriage and family. “Swift and Kelce may wish to include terms fostering confidentiality and privacy,” Leutto noted. “This may include non-disparagement or non-disclosure terms related to their relationship,” she added. Clauses that enjoin her from singing about him sound like a non-starter Most of the time, we think as prenuptial agreements as being something that concerns money, property, and perhaps custody of children or pets. Rumors have suggested that Travis’ attorney, negotiating on his behalf, might include a clause barring Taylor from singing about their relationship in the event of a breakup. Luetto cautions that there are “some exceptions” to how enforceable certain provisions may be — even if both partners, at the time, agree to sign. “In Taylor’s case, she would likely not want to include provisions limiting her from singing about her relationship in songs,” she reasoned. Luetto explained: “Particularly since there is always so much speculation about the subjects of her songwriting.” For years, prenups were used as a plot device on television — most often, as a way for a rich husband’s evil family to ensure that a protagonist doesn’t steal their fortune despite stealing their son’s heart. In reality, they are a solid way to make sure that both parties agree to who gets, say, an heirloom piece of jewelry or an expensive passion project in the event of a divorce. If the prenup is carried out the right way, that is. The right way for a prenup to come about involves attorneys for both parties. In the case of wealth disparity, the monied party pays for both. The attorneys work out the arrangement based upon their clients’ wishes, ensuring that divorce doesn’t mean either party getting robbed — or impoverished. Most places have laws that would more or less allow for fair division for most couples. But why take that chance? As Taylor and Travis iron out the final details before their nuptials, the prenup is probably not their main concern. And, in the absence of concrete evidence, it probably shouldn’t worry Swifties, either. Reading Time: 2 minutes Charlie Kirk prided himself on being a free speech absolutist. But in the months since Kirk was shot and killed, many of his most ardent supporters have lashed out at and demanded consequences for those who dared to criticize the slain podcast host and activist. Larry Bushart, a 61-year-old retired police officer from Tennessee, even suffered legal ramifications, spending 37 days behind bars due to a Facebook post about Kirk. Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk is seen onstage at the Fiserv Forum during preparations for the Republican National Convention (RNC) on July 14, 2024, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. (Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images) Now, Bushart has received an $835,000 settlement after filing a lawsuit against the county officials who locked him up. The case quickly became national news — and not just because of the unexpectedly high payout. Bushart was arrested in September 2025 after posting Facebook memes referencing Kirk’s death, including one that reused a quote from President Donald Trump following a 2024 Iowa school shooting that read: “We have to get over it.” Authorities claimed one of the posts alarmed local residents, who feared it referenced a nearby school in Tennessee with a similar name. According to local media reports, Perry County Sheriff Nick Weems later acknowledged he understood the meme referred to an Iowa school — not a local Tennessee one — but officials still moved forward with Bushart’s arrest after claiming the posts created fear in the community. Bushart was charged with threatening mass violence and initially hit with a staggering $2 million bond. He ultimately spent more than a month in jail before prosecutors dropped the felony charge in October. During that time, Bushart says he lost his post-retirement job and missed major family moments, including his wedding anniversary and the birth of his granddaughter. Those claims later became part of the federal lawsuit he filed against Perry County, the sheriff, and the investigator who secured the arrest warrant. “I am pleased my First Amendment rights have been vindicated,” Bushart said in a statement after news of the settlement broke. “The people’s freedom to participate in civil discourse is crucial to a healthy democracy. I am looking forward to moving on and spending time with my family.” His legal team framed the case as a major constitutional issue. “It’s in times of turmoil and heightened tensions that our national commitment to free speech is tested the most,” attorney Cary Davis said, arguing that public officials crossed a dangerous line by treating protected speech like a criminal threat. While many people faced backlash or even job losses over comments related to Kirk’s death, Bushart’s situation stood out because it escalated into an actual criminal prosecution. Now, after more than a month in jail and a lengthy legal battle, he is receiving an $835,000 reminder that social media posts. And across social today, Bushart is being celebrated as a true free speech warrior. Reading Time: 3 minutes In early March, Britney Spears was arrested after allegedly driving under the influence. Since that time, she has had the charges reduced and voluntarily entered rehab, not to mention spent some healing time with her sons. But a new report details what police recorded on the evening of her arrest. Some of this is worrisome. But it seems that some elements don’t fully match the narrative. Take a look: Singer Britney Spears performs onstage at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival at T-Mobile Arena on September 24, 2016. (Photo Credit: Christopher Polk/Getty Images for iHeartMedia) PHOTO ONE On Thursday, May 21, Us Weekly obtained and detailed the March 2026 police report on Britney’s DUI arrest. Police wrote that on March 4, a little after 9 PM, police responded after an anonymous caller reported a vehicle “traveling at high speeds and swerving.” An officer observed a vehicle crossing into a neighboring lane before sounding the siren to pull over Britney’s car. “[The subject] continued to drive in the #2 lane and did not immediately react to my emergency lights,” the officer recorded. “I activated the [police car’s] siren to get the driver’s attention.” In the vehicle, the police officer found Britney wearing a green striped dress and purple sandals … and a “distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage.” During the stop, Britney reportedly told the officer that she’d had one champagne mimosa seven hours earlier. “I could probably drink four bottles of wine and take care of you. I’m an angel,” she allegedly assured the officer. According to the police report, Britney had taken prescription medications that day. This apparently included 200mg of Lamictal, 40mg of Prozac, and 2.5 mg of Adderall. Those medications are a mood stabilizer, an antidepressant, and an ADHD med. Pretty normal medications found in the homes of millions of Americans. One container of Adderall in the vehicle was allegedly not her prescription. She did admit that she had not eaten in about six hours. Her most recent meal had been ice cream, eaten at around 3 PM that day. PHOTO THREE [The officer] also observed an empty wine glass in the cup holder between the front driver seat and passenger seat,” the police report included. According to the same report, a physical check determined that Britney had “red and watery” eyes and dilated pupils. Britney would go on to pass two chemical breath tests once she arrived at a local precinct. “I instructed Spears to exit the [car], but she initially refused,” the officer recorded. “Spears related she had been pranked and harassed in the past and did not want to exit.” According to the officer, Britney “wanted to speak to her lawyer and had the right as a woman not to exit her vehicle.” After about ten minutes of coaxing, however, she did step out. “I detected the distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath and person,” the officer reported. “Her speech was rapid and slurred, her gait was unsteady, and she was fidgeting with her fingers.” The officer claimed that Britney had “drastic mood swings” during the stop, oscillating between “confrontational and agitated to flamboyant.” She was allegedly uncooperative during attempts at a field sobriety test, complaining that lights hurt her eyes. Police transported Britney to the CHP Moorpark Office for a Drug Recognition Evaluation. They then transported her to Los Robles Medical Center to have blood drawn. When she needed to use the restroom, an officer theorized that it was a ploy “to delay the blood draw,” accusing her of becoming “belligerent” in the restroom. The report announced: “I placed Spears in handcuffs and placed her in the right front seat of the [police vehicle].” It sounds like Britney had a truly terrible evening. Reading Time: 2 minutes Earlier this week, a local radio station in Essex, England announced that King Charles had passed away. Charles has been battling cancer, of course, and he’s 77 years old, so listeners to the live broadcast likely didn’t question what they were hearing. Thankfully, the report was erroneous, and two days later, we can confirm that Charles is still very much alive. King Charles III takes part in a celebration of Fleadh Cheoil na hÃireann, which will be held in the city for the first time in August, at Thompson Dock on May 19, 2026 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. (Photo by Charles McQuillan/Getty Images) So what gives? How did this happen? Well, like so many baffling blunders in 2026, it sounds like AI may have been at the root of this problem. “Due to a computer error at our main studio, the Death of a Monarch procedure, which all UK stations hold in readiness while hoping not to require, was accidentally activated on Tuesday afternoon (19 May), mistakenly announcing that HM the King had passed away,” the station said in a statement issued on Wednesday. “Radio Caroline then fell silent as would be required, which alerted us to restore programming and issue an on-air apology,” the statement continued. “Caroline has been pleased to broadcast Her Majesty the Queen’s, and now the king’s, Christmas message and we hope to do so for many years to come. “We apologise to HM the king and to our listeners for any distress caused.” Needless to say, that’s a pretty big whoopsie. And while it was clearly an honest mistake, the situation has sparked some interesting conversations about the role of monarchs in the modern world. Last month, Queen Elizabeth II would have turned 100, and the occasion inspired numerous think pieces about how the world seemed to move on rather quickly following her death. Elizabeth reigned for over 70 years and was one of the most beloved figures on earth. Charles became king when he was 73 and does not enjoy so sterling a reputation. While the news of his death may have been greatly exaggerated, the reaction online served as a reminder of his complex legacy and the weakening cultural power of the royal family in the 21st century. Reading Time: 2 minutes Save the date! T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have been engaged since last summer. Now, they’re revealing that they’ve set the date for their much anticipated wedding. As it turns out, they shared even more about their plans than they’d intended. Amy Robach amd TJ Holmes attend the 2022 ABC Disney Upfront at Basketball City – Pier 36 – South Street on May 17, 2022. (Photo Credit: Arturo Holmes/WireImage) ‘I had a date that I really wanted’ On Tuesday, May 19, T.J. and Amy joined Bill and Giuliana: The Podcast‘s second episode. When faced with the question of whether the have a the wedding date, T.J. confirmed: “We do.” Interestingly, Amy immediately expressed surprise. “Are you okay with that date?” she asked her fiance. “I had a date that I really wanted.” Amy marveled: “You’re just telling me now on the podcast that you’re okay with that date?” According to T.J., he’d been hesitant until faced with the question. That was when he knew. “Being here with them made me more comfortable,” he explained. Truth be told, it is not uncommon for people to appear indecisive or even unaware of something important until faced with a question. Our thoughts are complex and thinking can be more contextual than we’d care to admit. With that out of the way, there is one natural question that follows. When are T.J. and Amy getting married? So, when is the big day? T.J. and Amy declined to share their planned wedding date on the podcast. However, they did shed light on aspects of their plans. “There is a way we want to get married that we haven’t revealed necessarily,” T.J. teased, “but it would be very special to us.” He continued: “We can’t say what that is. That’s a big thing for us.” For the moment, Amy went on to explain, their priority is spending plenty of quality time together. “This will be our third marriage, both of us,” Amy pointed out. “We’ve both been married twice before, and we want to maximize the amount of time we have together,” she continued. Amy affirmed: “We want to enjoy as much of that as we can.” Sometimes, people who have been cheated on, or people who grew up with a cheating parent, overcompensate and become joined-at-the-hip with their next partner. It arguably makes sense that a couple who ended up together before their respective marriages ended might have a similar reaction, even if they were not the victims of cheating. Anyway, we’ll look forward to wedding details as they continue to share them. T.J. Holmes & Amy Robach: We’ve Picked a Wedding Date! was originally published on The Hollywood Gossip. Reading Time: 3 minutes Unfortunately, nothing in this messy family’s chaotic story is surprising. Some of it is just sad. You know Alana Thompson’s older boyfriend, Dralin Carswell? According to at least one member of the family, she started living with him when she was 15. During a livestream that was preserved online, June Shannon and her husband leaked a claim about her most famous daughter. (Image Credit: YouTube) When she was 15, he was already an adult We already talked about how deeply embarrassing Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon’s video over the weekend was. (Lauryn was only a small portion of the embarrassment — ex-husband Josh Efird, sister Jessica Shannon, Jessica’s wife Shyann McCant and their “revenge threesome” took the cake.) Not to be outdone, Mama June had a TikTok Live that same weekend. There, she and her husband, Justin Stroud, leaned into some unfortunate stereotypes enough to have a shouting match. This is when Justin, in a fit of anger, blurted out an apparent family secret about Alana. As you can see in this Instagram clip from the live, Justin yelled at June, claiming that she and Josh continue to “tell lies” and blame each other. He claimed that Josh’s complaint that he “had to raise Alana” during June’s downward spiral drug binge is one such deception. Why? Because Alana, at age 15, allegedly went to live with boyfriend Dralin Carswell, who would have been at least 19 at the time, if not older. “Alana left [Josh’s] house when she was 15 years old!” Justin ranted. “She lived by herself with Dralin and [his friend] Draco from 15 til now!” With June in apparent agreement, Justin continued, as if lecturing Josh: “So you didn’t have her this whole time to where it made your whole life fall apart! You had her for two years!” She’s 20 now, but this deception is getting attention from fans As far as the public was concerned, Alana officially started living with Dralin later in her teens — when it was time to go off to college, where she is getting her nursing degree. Now, fans have long suspected that something was up. Remember, June became a mother when she was in her very early teens. (June became a grandmother at age 32. Extreme poverty is essentially a generational curse, and not one that money cures overnight.) Even Lauryn, who some would argue has led a somewhat normal life (relative to her older sisters), became a mom in her late teens. Many of us breathed a sigh of relief when Alana turned 20 without first becoming a parent. So, whose fault is it that a 15-year-old allegedly lived with her adult boyfriend (which is illegal in Georgia, by the way) in secret? Lauryn had custody, but that’s complex. Alana and Lauryn are sisters, and while Lauryn had a legal responsibility, we’re talking about siblings who were only about 5 years apart. Siblings who also had zero “normal” role models for behavior or age milestones while growing up. Why did Lauryn have custody? Because June was busy getting high with her now ex, Geno Doak, spending 7 figures and losing everything that she’d built for herself in the process. To be clear, this is also on Dralin, albeit to a limited degree. 19 can feel very close to 15 at the time, but Alana is not the first minor girl whom he is accused of pursuing. Maybe it’s moot. Alana is an adult now. She is on track to have a much better life than her mother or siblings ever had. Hopefully she’ll exercise better judgment if she ever has kids one day. Or maybe she’ll deny this whole thing. Justin and June are not exactly reliable source of, well, anything. Alana Thompson Secretly Lived with Dralin at 15? Reading Time: 2 minutes Vanessa Trump — the former wife of Donald Trump Jr. — has revealed that she is battling breast cancer. The news comes just days after Vanessa’s current boyfriend, Tiger Woods, checked out of rehab after his latest DUI arrest. Vanessa shared the news with her Instagram followers in a message posted Wednesday night: Vanessa Trump, wife of Donald Trump Jr., attends the 140th annual Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn of the White House April 2, 2018 in Washington, DC. (Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images) “I want to share a personal health update,” she began. “I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer,” she continued, adding: “While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan. “I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me. I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me. “Thank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.” Vanessa Trump reveals that she’s battling breast cancer. (Instagram) Several members of the Trump family were quick to offer supportive comments on Vanessa’s post: “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama,” wrote Vanessa’s former sister-in-law Ivanka Trump. “Love you! Strongest person ever,” added Vanessa’s 19-year-old daughter, Kai Trump. Vanessa and Tiger were recently reunited after he spent six weeks in a Swiss rehab facility. Despite rumors that Tiger wants to take a break to focus on his sobriety, it seems that the couple is very much together. “They kept in touch while he was away. Both of them have responsibilities outside of their personal lives and that factors [into] how much time they can spend together,” a source close to the situation tells Page Six, adding: “He’s like the hottest bachelor of Palm Beach. He’s the biggest golfer in the world, and he’s a gazillionaire. There aren’t that many options.” Recent reports indicate that Donald Trump Jr. will marry Bettina Anderson over Memorial Day weekend. It’s unclear at this time if Vanessa and/or Tiger will be in attendance at the ceremony. We wish Vanessa all the best on her road to recovery, and we will have further updates on this developing story as new information becomes available. Reading Time: 3 minutes It’s happening! Courtney Stodden announced plans to undergo a breast reduction. Naturally, her comments were inundated with extremely weird takes, including people “mourning” her bust — as if breasts were people, but Courtney herself were not. She’s going through with it, undeterred. How much of a change is she making? Courtney Stodden attends as Lifetime celebrates summer on July 16, 2025. (Photo Credit: Randy Shropshire/Getty Images for A+E Global Media) As a child bride, she was treated ‘like the scandal instead of the victim’ Fifteen years ago, Courtney rose to fame as a child bride. She was 16 years old. Her new husband at the time, Doug Hutchison, was 51. “15 years ago today, a 16 year old girl was married off to a man 35 years older than her,” Courtney reflected in an Instagram post on Wednesday, May 20. “And the world treated her like the scandal instead of the victim,” she accurately assessed. “I was a virgin,” Courtney described. “Emotionally still a child. And too young to understand what was about to happen to me behind closed doors for years.” “Just because a child says ‘I do’ does not mean she understands consent,” Courtney reasoned. “Tomorrow,” she continued, “I’m downsizing my breasts.” This was not her first announcement on the topic. “And for the first time in my life,” Courtney remarked, “my body feels like it belongs to me instead of the public that consumed it before I even became a woman.” She affirmed: “A child bride is not a love story. She’s a child surviving adult trauma in plain sight.” 15 years after becoming a child bride, Courtney Stodden reflected upon her trauma ahead of undergoing a breast reduction. (Image Credit: Instagram) She originally got the implants to feel like an adult Courtney received her implants in 2013 — when she turned 18. She was newly an adult, but had been a wife for a couple of years already. To be clear, she has shared that she is only going down by a size. Courtney has shared this to reassure — or, at least, to reason with — people having pity parties in her comments on social media. We want to emphasize that, like everyone else, Courtney has every right to do wit her body as she wishes. If she wanted to stop having breasts entirely, that would be solely her business. As it is, this will simply be a mild reduction. Courtney even shared a video roasting some of the men who had the unfathomable gall to complain about her plans to go under the knife. Most of the time, her advocacy centers upon broad topics — from animal welfare to, of course, child marriage. Only a dozen or so US states have taken the step to actually outlaw child marriage. Attempts to ban it are sometimes thwarted by conservative legislators, some of whom argue that keeping child marriage as a legal loophole is preferable to the alternatives — like abortion or child single parents if an adult impregnates them. No, child marriage is not the preferable alternative. Voters need to oust politicians who fight to keep child marriage enshrined in lawbooks. Right now, however, Courtney is advocating for herself. We wish her a smooth and healthy recovery. Courtney Stodden Undergoes Breast Reduction, Upsets Some Very Weird Men in Her Comments was originally published on The Hollywood Gossip. Reading Time: 2 minutes The tribe has spoken. Aubry Bracco officially won Survivor 50 during Wednesday night’s dramatic finale, defeating fellow finalists Jonathan Young and Joe Hunter to claim the title of Sole Survivor. And yes, fans had plenty to say about it. Jeff Probst attends First Look: ‘Survivor 50’ and Award Presentation To Jeff Probst during the 14th SCAD TVfest on February 04, 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images for SCAD) Bracco — who first competed on Survivor: Kaôh Rōng before returning for Game Changers and Edge of Extinction — entered the season as one of the franchise’s most recognizable returning players. But after years of near-misses and unfinished business, the marketing consultant from Hampton Falls, New Hampshire finally sealed the deal. The Season 50 finale was already shaping up to be intense, with five castaways entering the last episode: In addition to Aubry, Jonathan, and Joe, there was Tiffany Ervin and Rizo Velovic. By the end of the night, only three remained standing at Final Tribal Council. Of course, because this is Survivor, the road to victory was anything but smooth. In one especially awkward moment, longtime host Jeff Probst accidentally spoiled part of the finale during a live segment when he prematurely identified Rizo Velovic as a jury member before the fire-making challenge had even aired. Whoops. As someone who missed the Will Smith slap live, this was the wildest live TV moment I’ve ever seen. RIP to whoever just lost their job #Survivor50 pic.twitter.com/Qyi6nwJXNL — Wyatt (@wyattmetzger99) May 21, 2026 The on-air blunder immediately confused contestants and audience members alike, briefly turning the finale into a chaotic mess before the show pivoted back to the pre-recorded challenge footage. Still, the live-TV mishap wasn’t enough to overshadow Bracco’s long-awaited win. This season’s prize was especially massive, too. In honor of the franchise’s landmark 50th installment, CBS boosted the grand prize to $2 million, double the show’s traditional payout. For longtime viewers, Bracco’s victory will likely feel overdue. After years of being viewed as one of the best players never to win, she finally got her redemption story — even if the finale itself nearly turned into a blooper reel. Reading Time: 2 minutes As you’re probably aware Kim Kardashian is a bonafide billionaire thanks to her media presence and her popular clothing line, Skims. And she’s unlikely to jeopardize all of that — to say nothing of her freedom — with illegal activities like, say, international drug smuggling. So the news that millions of dollars’ worth of cocaine was found in a Skims shipment came as quite a surprise to Kim fans. (Photo by Theo Wargo/FilmMagic) Yes, earlier this week, Skims made headlines for all the wrong reasons when the brand became tied to a major cocaine-smuggling operation in England after one of its clothing shipments became connected to a convicted trafficker. But before anyone starts imagining a Breaking Bad spinoff starring Kardashians in compression wear, the company says it had absolutely nothing to do with it. “SKIMS is aware of the recent news involving a shipment with our products,” the company told TMZ in a statement. “We want to be absolutely clear: SKIMS had no knowledge whatsoever about this criminal activity. We had no connection to the smuggling operation, the driver, or the truck.” According to authorities, a Polish truck driver named Jakub Jan Konkel transported a trailer carrying legitimate Skims merchandise from the Netherlands to England last September. When the truck arrived at the Port of Harwich, Border Force officers searched it and reportedly uncovered 90 hidden packages of cocaine worth an estimated $9.4 million concealed near the rear trailer doors. Authorities emphasized from the beginning that the SKIMS products themselves were legitimate and that the brand was not involved in the trafficking scheme. The UK’s National Crime Agency said the shipment was real, but the truck had allegedly been modified with a hidden compartment used to stash the drugs. “The load was entirely legitimate and neither the exporter nor importer were connected to the smuggled load,” the agency said, adding that the truck had been specially adapted to conceal the narcotics. Konkel initially denied knowing anything about the drugs, but later admitted he agreed to smuggle the cocaine for roughly $5,300, ultimately pleading guilty in court. On Monday, he was sentenced to 13 years and six months in prison in Chelmsford Crown Court in Essex, England. “Organised crime groups use corrupt drivers like Konkel to move Class A drugs often hidden on entirely legitimate loads such as this,” National Crime Agency operations manager Paul Orchard said in a statement. In other words: the shipment may have included Kardashian-branded shapewear, but officials say this scandal has nothing to do with Kim or Skims — aside from some very unfortunate headlines. So Kim is in the clear legally. Unless society decides to outlaw having children with Kanye West, which might not be such a bad idea. Reading Time: 3 minutes Last month, we learned that Lisa Kudrow earns $20 million a year from Friends residuals. And it turns out she’s not the only sitcom star who’s still raking in five figures from work she did decades ago. According to new reports from various outlets, Ray Romano is earning an eye-popping $18 million per year in residuals from Everybody Loves Raymond residuals, more than twenty years after the series wrapped its final episode. Ray Romano attends Netflix’s “No Good Deed” Screening & Conversation at 92NY on December 11, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images) Romano continues to rake in tens of millions annually thanks to syndication and streaming for Raymond, which ended its original run back in 2005 but remains widely available on platforms such as Paramount+ and Peacock. Not a bad deal if you can get it! Raymond premiered in 1996 and quickly became one of television’s defining family sitcoms. The series starred Romano as Ray Barone, a sportswriter navigating suburban life on Long Island while constantly clashing with his overbearing family. Over the course of nine seasons, the show became a massive ratings success, ultimately earning 15 Emmy wins out of 69 nominations before coming to an end in 2005. And the titular star was compensated accordingly. By the show’s ninth and final season, Romano was reportedly earning nearly $2 million per episode, cementing his status as one of television’s highest-paid actors at the time. As of 2026, Romano’s net worth reportedly sits around $200 million. While he later appeared in projects such as the Ice Age franchise and NBC’s Parenthood, much of his long-term wealth appears to stem from one very lucrative source: those juicy Raymond royalty checks. Of course, Romano’s enormous salary once sparked major behind-the-scenes tension on set. Back in 2003, reports surfaced that Romano was earning approximately $1.8 million per week under a reported $40 million contract during the sitcom’s eighth season. That revelation reportedly did not sit well with co-star Brad Garrett, who played Ray’s older brother, Robert Barone. According to TV Insider, Garrett pushed for a salary increase after learning not only how much Romano was making, but also that Romano’s contract included royalties from reruns of older episodes. At the time, Garrett was said to be earning roughly $160,000 per episode. According to insiders, Garrett refused to return to work until CBS renegotiated his deal. His character was temporarily removed from the season premiere and allegedly faced the possibility of being written out entirely. Co-stars Patricia Heaton, Doris Roberts and Peter Boyle reportedly backed Garrett during the standoff, even calling in sick in solidarity. “Ray deserves every penny, all Brad wants is compensation commensurate with what other similarly situated actors have made in the past and are making today,” Garrett’s representative said at the time. Ultimately, CBS negotiated with the cast, and Garrett reportedly saw his pay increase to $250,000 per episode for Season 8 and $315,000 per episode for Season 9. As for Romano? He didn’t seem to harbor any resentment. “When my salary came out in the papers, I knew stuff would happen,” Romano said at the time. “I’d do exactly the same thing.” Despite the massive paychecks, Ray says he has no interest in a revival series and intends to “leave our legacy the way it is.” We guess you can afford to feel that way when you’re raking in $20 million annually! Reading Time: 2 minutes Mackenzie Shirilla is now 21 years old. She is serving a life sentence for the deaths of her boyfriend and friend after she alone survived a deadly crash. It will be over a decade before she is eligible for parole. A former inmate shares her account of Shirilla’s demeanor — describing someone far different from how she portrayed herself in court. Shirilla’s most ardent defender has been her father. It may cost him his job. The infamous Mackenzie Shirilla appears in this mugshot. (Photo Credit: Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction) What’s she like behind bars? Mary Katherine Crowder spent over six months imprisoned at the Ohio Reformatory for Women. She is now out, and has taken to TikTok to share her experiences behind bars. A couple of videos that have drawn a particular amount of attention describe her account of Shirilla behind bars. She likened her to a “queen bee.” According to Crowder, Shirilla’s demeanor and styling seemed to treat the prison “like a high school popularity contest.” Crowder describes Shirilla as giggling, smiling, and socializing alongside a group of other young inmates. Unlike Crowder, who is no longer incarcerated, Shirilla is serving concurrent 15-to-life sentences for the 2022 crash that killed Dominic Russo (her boyfriend) and Davion Flanagan. Speaking of her love life, apparently she’s doing well in that department. Crowder describes Shirilla as flaunting hickeys and similar love bites from hooking up with fellow inmates. Now, all of this sounds pretty normal for a pretty young adult behind bars. But it’s gaining attention because Shirilla’s vibe in documentaries has shown a wildly different tone. She’ll be eligible for parole in just over a decade In 2023, prosecutors told the court that Shirilla had intentionally driven the vehicle into a building. They argued that she had allegedly accelerated to nearly 100 miles per hour before slamming into the Strongsville, Ohio structure. Shirilla survived. Russo and Flanagan did not. The jury agreed with the prosecution’s case, convicting her for the deaths of her boyfriend and friend. Shirilla is serving concurrent life sentences. She will, however, be eligible for parole in 2037. In the Netflix documentary, The Crash, Steve Shirilla spoke in his daughter’s defense. Not only did he maintain his daughter’s innocence, but he made controversial comments — defending her marijuana use (still controversial in some corners of the country), suggesting that Russo’s finances are why she dated him for four years, and denying reports that she’d been a high school bully. Cleveland 19 News reports that he has now been placed on administrative leave at Mary Queen of Peace School, a private Catholic school. “We are investigating allegations made on social media that one of our teachers has demonstrated poor judgement,” the school reported in an email to parents. “The investigation is ongoing.” Shirilla’s father sees her as an innocent girl who survived a deadly crash. She portrayed herself as mournful and haunted on screen. Behind bars, however, Crowder had a different impression. Reading Time: 2 minutes It stands to reason that Spencer Pratt has drawn a lot of comparisons to Donald Trump. They’re both blonde, brash veterans of the reality TV trenches who launched political campaigns that initially seemed like practical jokes but met with surprising success. So does Trump support Pratt’s effort to become the next mayor of Los Angeles? Well, that depends on how Spencer feels about the MAGA movement. Spencer Pratt accepts the award for Snapchatter of the Year onstage during the 10th Annual Shorty Awards at PlayStation Theater on April 15, 2018 in New York City. (Photo by Dave Kotinsky/Getty Images for Shorty Awards) Yes, Trump stopped just short of making an endorsement this week, saying that he would like to see Pratt “do well” in the LA mayoral race. His reason? The president’s tepid support had nothing to do with policy and everything to do with Spencer’s rumored loyalties. Asked if he sees himself in Pratt, Trump turned things around and wondered if Pratt sees himself as a product of MAGA culture. “I’d like to see him do well — he’s a character,” Trump told reporters on Wednesday, adding: “I don’t know, I don’t know him. I assume he probably supports me. Does he support me?… I heard he does. I heard he’s a big MAGA person. He’s doing well.” From there, Trump returned to his favorite topic of all (other than himself), and began venting about the 2020 presidential election. He griped about the “really rigged vote in California,” saying that “the elections are very dishonest.” “If we had Jesus Christ come down and count the votes, I would have won California,” he added. “Because I do great with Hispanics. But it’s a rigged vote.” Yes, it’s the kind of quote that would have occupied an entire week-long news cycle with any other politician in US history. But this is the age of the $1.776 billion slush fund for January 6 insurrectionists. It’s a time when we might have a more outrageous Trump-related story by the end of business today. And it’s a time when many Americans don’t think twice about electing a TV personality with zero political experience to manage one of the world’s largest economies. Pratt has not yet publicly reacted to Trump’s pseudo-endorsement, but you can be sure that he and his team are loving the free press. Reading Time: 3 minutes Despite the charges that she is facing, Kendra Caldwell is allowed to see her kids while she awaits trial. Disgraced husband Joseph Duggar is not. Kendra has apparently chosen to cut off contact with other family members. And no, we don’t mean Duggars. She has reportedly ghosted her parents and all eight siblings, even as they struggle to relocate in the wake of her husband’s scandal. Following her arrest, Kendra Caldwell Duggar posed for a mugshot. (Photo Credit: Washington County Detention Center) She’s reportedly abandoned her family at the worst time (for them and for her) On Tuesday, May 19, Us Weekly reported that Kendra Caldwell has effectively cut ties with her family. “Kendra is not communicating with her family,” a source reported. Paul and Christina Caldwell and her eight siblings are in a tough spot at the moment, which makes matters worse. The source noted that her family “have left the home they were living in and all of their belongings are in storage.” Where do they go from here? In this still from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, a handcuffed Kendra Caldwell Duggar sits and speaks to a law enforcement officer. (Image Credit: Washington County Sheriff’s Office) “They are still working out what their next steps will be,” the source reported. The report continued: “It has been an extremely stressful time especially given the circumstances.” It’s not like the Caldwell family plight is wholly unrelated to what’s going on with Kendra’s marriage, it seems. In April, Paul created a GoFundMe page asking for $40,000 in financial support. He even claimed that his family’s stance against harm to children is what has cost the Caldwell’s their living situation and financial stability. Paul Caldwell asked for $40,000 to help his family relocate. (Image Credit: GoFundMe) They sensibly ‘want to distance themselves from the Duggars’ “Relocating is always difficult, especially with a large family and the stress they are under,” the source commented. “They are considering a move out of state,” the report continued. “Paul is looking for work to support the family because he had to leave his job.” According to the insider, the Caldwells “want to distance themselves from the Duggars as much as possible.” The source then admitted: “But it hurts them to be cut off by Kendra.” Sometimes, people simply have to pack up and move due to various circumstances. This sounds like a bigger deal than the vague reports are letting on, however. Joseph Duggar has been arrested for the alleged molestation of a 9-year-old girl. (Washington County Sheriff’s Office) According to the insider: “The utilities were cut off and the family felt unsafe.” The source continued: “More than anything they want to feel safe and start over and to enter counseling to heal.” While counseling for the Caldwells likely refers to a religious consultation rather than attending conventional therapy, that’s still something. Joseph’s arrest, Kendra’s arrest, and their entire world upending in a more practical sense — all within the space of a few weeks — would leave anyone rattled. Paul Caldwell has promised that none of the GoFundMe donations will go towards anyone who has or will harm children, by the way. It sounds like that would rule out Kendra, Joseph, and multiple other Duggars. Reading Time: 2 minutes Even if you’ve never watched a single second of the show, you’ve probably heard about Sydney Sweeney’s OnlyFans storyline on Euphoria Season 3. Sydney’s character, Cassie, is seen filming increasingly outrageous content as she builds her following and gains financial freedom. One scene in particular — in which Sydney is seen wearing a diaper and acting like a baby — has received especially harsh criticism. Sydney Sweeney poses for a portrait at the 28th SCAD Savannah Film Festival on October 27, 2025 in Savannah, Georgia. (Photo by Emma McIntyre/Getty Images for SCAD) The scene has gained backlash not only from viewers who were caught off guard, but also from adult content creators who say it badly misrepresents their profession. One such creator is Maitland Ward, the former mainstream actress who now makes her living in the adult industry. “There’s all sorts of stuff that you can’t do,” Ward said in a recent interview with TMZ, adding: “The whole child-baby thing is so disgusting … You just can’t go into that whole underage thing like that. I mean, you can do it to an extent if it’s very, very playful, like, you’re an adult being childlike or something. But just the way it was handled was so gross, and it’s just disgusting and vile.” She further explained, “You don’t want pedophilia anywhere near pornography.” Ward went on to allege that Euphoria “is making fun of OnlyFans creators” rather than “celebrating” them. “It’s saying how weird and creepy they are,” she said. “There’s so many creators who are really working hard to build their brands every day, and this is really disingenuous.” Ward went on to blast Euphoria, its writers, and even Sydney herself for denigrating sex workers: “Sydney Sweeney’s portrayal of an OnlyFans creator is setting sex workers real individuals with lives, families, and jobs back by making a mockery not only of what they choose to do with their bodies and lives, but of them as human beings,” she said, adding: “This show is treating sex work like a circus act, a freak show. And of course, they use the traditional blonde, boobie-bimbo stereotype who will do anything for money and a jolt of fame, including posing as a dog licking a bowl and serving up pedophilia fantasies, as the one who goes into sex work. “Because, of course, you couldn’t go into sex work unless you were deranged on some level and without standards. This only reinforces the false and harmful stereotypes that sex workers have to fight against every day. It’s completely out of touch.” And while Euphoria is only a TV show, and Cassie’s story is mainly played for laughs, Ward says these kinds of portrayals can have damaging real-world consequences: “I know it’s ridiculous, but a lot of people already believe these things about sex workers, and this only reinforces those harmful stereotypes,” she said. “Sex work is treated like a joke — some odd sideshow that’s fun to use for laughs and clickbait. Hollywood does it again.” Maitland Ward Slams Sydney Sweeney’s ‘Disgusting’ OnlyFans Scene on … was originally published on The Hollywood Gossip. View the full article

Reading Time: 3 minutes Hayden Panettiere’s memoir is out, and it’s full of harrowing tales. But there’s more to her life than narrow escapes from creepy men or being flashed by Oscar-winners when she was a teenager. She’s a mom now. Her tween daughter lives overseas. Hayden is raising eyebrows, sharing the name that her kid used for her that took her a moment to understand. On ‘CBS Mornings,’ Hayden Panettiere opened up about her childhood and what it’s like being a mom an ocean away from her child. (Image Credit: CBS) ‘She’s now 11 years old’ This week on CBS Mornings, Hayden spoke to Gayle King about her 11-year-old daughter, Kaya. The first time that Kaya called her “Britney” during one of their frequent video calls, “it took me a second” to catch the reference, the actress shared. “I realized she was talking about ‘Bring It On’ because her friends are fans of ‘Bring It On,’” Hayden explained. Bring It On is a legendary film filled with stellar talent, including Hayden. She revealed that Kaya wants her to video chat with her friends, quipping “I’m cool now!” (Many celebrity children do not really care about their parents’ work until they reach an age where peers find it exciting.) Kaya lives in Ukraine with Wladimir Klitschko, her father — and Hayden’s former fiance. In 2018, the actress relinquished custody in the hopes that this would give her daughter her best chance at happiness while Hayden herself worked on her own issues, including substance abuse. “I fly over there as much as I can,” Hayden shared. “I’m on FaceTime with her all the time,” she continued. Hayden added: “She’s now 11 years old, and she’s calling Mommy more and more.” Gayle King and Hayden Panettiere chat on ‘CBS Mornings’ about the actress’ book, her childhood, and her role as a mom. (Image Credit: CBS) ‘Trust me, no one should ever have to raise a child on FaceTime’ In her new book, Hayden writes: “My daughter, Kaya, has lived with her dad, Wladimir Klitschko, since 2018.” She expresses: “Not being under the same roof with her every day has been the most gut-wrenching experience of my life.” Hayden continues: “And it’s hard to describe the layers of emotion — including sadness, resentment, and anger — I’ve felt because of it.” Mournfully, she shares: “I grieve that I’m not the mother I thought I’d be and definitely not the mother I want to be.” Hayden affirms: “Trust me, no one should ever have to raise a child on FaceTime.” In ‘This Is Me: A Reckoning,’ Hayden Panettiere shares harrowing memories of growing up in the entertainment industry. (Image Credit: Grand Central Publishing) “Although I miss Kaya so much my heart aches, I know how blessed I am to be her mom,” Hayden affirms. “She is the greatest gift of my life, with all the best parts of her father and me,” she writes. “And, today, I believe I have the opportunity to be a different kind of parent than most,” Hayden writes. “She didn’t ask to be born into the limelight or my chaos,” the actress reasons, “and she didn’t get to choose her parents. Reading Time: 2 minutes We have sad news to report from the world of politics today: Barney Frank — the progressive politician who became one of the first openly gay members of Congress — has died at the age of 86. News of Frank’s death comes courtesy of his sister, who issued a statement to NBC Boston: Former House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-MA) participates in a panel discussion at the Brookings Institution March 2, 2015 in Washington, DC. (Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images) “He was, above all else, a wonderful brother. I was lucky to be his sister,” Doris Breay told the outlet. No cause of death was given. Frank was receiving hospice care at his Maine home in the final months of his life. Frank’s death marks the end of a career that was as influential as it was polarizing. A fixture on Capitol Hill for more than three decades, the Massachusetts Democrat built a reputation as a sharp debater, an unapologetic liberal, and a larger-than-life personality who rarely shied away from a fight. For many Americans, Frank’s name became synonymous with financial reform in the aftermath of the 2008 economic collapse. Alongside Senator Chris Dodd, he helped craft the sweeping Dodd-Frank financial overhaul, legislation designed to tighten regulations on Wall Street after the devastating housing crisis. Born in Bayonne, New Jersey in 1940, Frank entered politics by getting elected to the Massachusetts legislature after graduating from Harvard Law School. He won a seat in Congress in 1980 and remained there until his retirement in 2013. Over the years, Frank became a leading voice on housing, civil rights, and LGBTQ+ equality, long before such issues carried broad political support. In 1987, he publicly came out as gay, becoming one of the first members of Congress to do so. Years later, after same-sex marriage became legal in Massachusetts, he married longtime partner James Ready in 2012, making history once again as one of the first sitting members of Congress to marry a same-sex partner. Frank’s outspokenness often made him a lightning rod for controversy. Conservatives frequently targeted him over housing policy and government spending, and even allies occasionally bristled at his famously combative style. Admirers saw Frank as a brilliant legislator who pushed the country toward greater equality and stronger financial safeguards. Critics viewed him as an embodiment of government overreach. But even opponents praised Frank’s bluntness and candor in an era of carefully rehearsed political messaging. Following his retirement from Congress, Frank continued to weigh in on politics, financial regulation, and LGBTQ+ issues through interviews, speeches and frequent television appearances. He is survived by his husband, James Ready, as well as a legacy that helped reshape both Washington and the national conversation around representation. Our thoughts go out to Barney Frank’s loved ones during this difficult time. Barney Frank Cause of Death: Trailblazing Congressman Was 86 was originally published on The Hollywood Gossip. Reading Time: 3 minutes On January 6, 2021, a mob of insurgents stormed our nation’s capitol, intent upon preventing the certification of the 2020 election and upon killing any lawmakers whom they deemed as enemies. It was the worst attack against the US government since September 11. Donald Trump is attempting to fleece citizens of $1.776 billion in order to create a slush fund that could reward the traitors who participated in the attack. Natalie Maines of The Chicks spoke out in 2003. She’s speaking out now, too. Musicians Martie Maguire, Natalie Maines, and Emily Robison of The Chicks depart after performing the National Anthem on August 22, 2024. (Photo Credit: Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images) Trump is ‘using your gas money to pay the insurrectionists’ On Tuesday, May 19, Natalie took to her Instagram page to share a wholehearted condemnation of Trump over the insurrection slush fund, the Iran war, and his dismantling of the economy. “Our democracy is disappearing right before our eyes,” she began by acknowledging. Using a Mean Girls insult that lives rent-free in many of our minds, she went after Trump more directly. “This fugly slut is using your gas money to pay the insurrectionists,” Natalie noted. “But don’t worry about it,” she added sarcastically. “I’m sure posting selfies will fix everything.” In May of 2026, Natalie Maines once against used her voice to condemn a criminal occupant of the Oval Office. (Image Credit: Instagram) Natalie then took aim, somewhat indirectly, at Meta’s policies as the company continues to actively collaborate with fascism. “My last post that called him a fugly slut got removed,” she wrote. “We’ll see how long this one lasts,” Natalie continued. “Repost and help the message live,” she invited her followers. “Named 1M times in the #epsteinfiles,” Natalie wrote of Trump. “#democracy #freespeech #fuglyslut” The Chicks’ Natalie Maines called out “fugly slut” Donald Trump for using U.S. tax dollars to “pay the insurrectionists,” in an ostensible nod to the president’s creation of a billion dollar slush fund for his allies and supporters. Read: https://t.co/OsbL1Ef7aJ pic.twitter.com/WrF49hQ78q — Rolling Stone (@RollingStone) May 19, 2026 Her passion makes sense, though her choice of insult was a little distracting Obviously, there is nothing wrong with being a slut. Having exactly as much sex as you like — be it none or the level of sex that has acquaintances trying to figure out how you make time — is exactly how one should live one’s life. And there is nothing morally wrong with being fugly — that is, effing ugly. Some people are just ugly when compared to conventional beauty standards (or unconventional ones), and it is seldom by choice. Natalie is perhaps leaning into the Mean Girls insult to a degree that distracts from her more important message. This is a man accused of numerous sexual assaults, who is dismantling America before our eyes and gleefully performing acts of bold-faced corruption without any fear of consequences. His appearance is really irrelevant, you know? In 2003, The Chicks — the known as The Dixie Chicks — spoke out against George W. Bush, expressing how embarrassing it was that such a terrible president could be from Texas. (Anyone who has had an infamous Senator or Congressperson make headlines while being from their state can likely relate.) The result was a sort of unhinged backlash not truly seen again until those couple of weeks in September 2025 when a bunch of people pretended that not mourning properly after Charlie Kirk died was some sort of travesty. The Chicks were banned from music stations, cringe fans tossed out their CDs (remember CDs?), and they were sort of pariahs within the Country music world — which was, at the time, still transforming into the beer-and-truck-nuts parody of itself that it is today. (Seriously, Country music used to be a much more diverse and interesting genre, full of anti-authoritarian sentiment! That sounds hard to believe, but it’s true.) With that in mind, it is no surprise that Natalie is condemning Trump. She was right in 2003. And she’s right in 2026. Reading Time: 2 minutes In 2005, music legend Kylie Minogue was diagnosed with breast cancer. What even her most diehard fans are only now learning is that she had a second, secret cancer battle. In her new documentary, the Grammy-winning music star opens up about her second diagnosis. She also explains why she kept it private until now. Despite some real high points in her Netflix documentary, Kylie Minogue also delved into painful moments — including a secret that she’d kept from fans. (Image Credit: Netflix) She received her second diagnosis in 2021 In Kylie’s new documentary, which premiered on Wednesday, May 20, the Australian singer opened up about her second diagnosis. In 2021, she explained, she “got through it again.” Back in 2005, she was one of the few public figures to openly discuss her breast cancer battle. This time, however, she decided to keep things quiet. “My second cancer diagnosis was in early 2021,” Kylie confirmed. “I was able to keep that to myself. Not like the first time.” “Thankfully, I got through it, again, and all is well,” Kylie confirmed, to the relief of millions. “Hey, who knows what’s around the corner,” she acknowledged. “But pop music nurtures me,” Kylie expressed relatably. “My passion for music is greater than ever.” After keeping the cancer battle quiet, it was a challenge “to find the right time” to tell fans about what she’d been through. In 2023, much of her world was wrapped up in her Grammy-winning global smash hit, “Padam Padam.” ‘I knew that cancer wasn’t just a blip in my life’ “I don’t feel obliged to tell the world,” Kylie clarified. “And actually,” she explained, “I just couldn’t at the time because I was just a shell of a person.” Kylie elaborated: “I didn’t want to leave the house again at one point.” She shared: “Padam Padam opened so many doors for me but on the inside I knew that cancer wasn’t just a blip in my life.” Kylie continued: “And I really just wanted to say what happened so I can let go of it. I’d sit through interviews and every opportunity I thought, ‘now’s the time’, but I kept it to myself.” As for speaking up, Kylie shared that she hopes that there is “someone out there who will benefit from a gentle reminder to do their check-ups.” Her own cancer was diagnosed following a routine screening. Early detection saves lives. “Early detection was very helpful,” Kylie acknowledged. “And,” she expressed, “I am so grateful to be able to say that I am well today,” Her full documentary is on Netflix. Reading Time: 2 minutes As we previously reported, Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Mathers, was arrested for DUI last week after crashing into a parked car. The arrest came just two days after Mathers pleaded no contest after being arrested following a crash in February. Now, newly unsealed court documents indicate that Kim’s Breathalyzer test revealed a .204 blood alcohol content level, which is nearly three times the state’s 0.8 legal limit. Kimberly Mathers, Eminem’s ex-wife, appears before Judge Ed Servito in Macomb Count Circuit Court for violating her probation on drug charges February 12, 2004 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. (Photo by Bill Pugliano/Getty Images) Kim cooperated with officers and was taken to a nearby station house where she was Breathalyzed twice more (per Page Six). She allegedly blew a .176 and .181 BAC in subsequent tests, still well above the legal limit. Needless to say, Kim’s legal prospects aren’t looking too good at the moment. She might avoid jail time, but she’ll almost certainly lose her license. She’ll be back in court next month to be sentenced for the February incident, and the judge will certainly factor in that she has failed to keep her nose clean. Kim Mathers smiles for the camera after her latest arrest. (Chesterfield Township Police Dept.) According to police, the February arrest took place when Kim took off after she crashed into a parked car on her street while taking her son, Parker, and his friends shopping. She allegedly fled to her home and crashed into her garage door upon arrival. Video from the arrest shows Kim taking a breathalyzer, and cops say they found soda bottles spiked with liquor in her car. She’s scheduled to be sentenced for that incident in June. According to a report from TMZ, Kim’s more recent arrest led to her being booked into the Macomb County Jail in Mt. Clemens, Michigan last week. She allegedly struck another car while driving in the 21 Mile Zone near Detroit at around 9:20 pm on Wednesday. Fans say Kim Mathers looks like a different person in her latest mugshots. (Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office) Sadly, Kim has a history of driving while intoxicated. Mathers has attempted suicide on multiple occasions, and at least one of those attempts involved getting behind the wheel while drunk. At the time of her latest arrest, Kim was already facing charges of impaired driving and failure to report an accident from her previous crash. Kim and Eminem were married from 1999 to 2001. They briefly remarried in 2006 before divorcing for good. Neither party has commented publicly on these recent events. We will have further updates on Kim’s ongoing legal woes as new information becomes available. Reading Time: 2 minutes What started as internet true-crime speculation has ended with a jaw-dropping courtroom loss. YouTuber and country rapper Ryan Upchurch has been ordered to pay a staggering $17.5 million after a jury found him liable in a defamation lawsuit tied to videos he posted about a high-profile disappearance. If you’re a Teen Mom fan, you might remember that Jenelle Evans and David Eason were diehard Upchurch fans, who often interacted with the controversial content creator on social media. (Photo by Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images for Macy’s) The lawsuit was brought by Daniel Rodni and David Robertson, who accused Upchurch of spreading false accusations about them in connection to the death of 16-year-old Kiely Rodni. Rodni’s disappearance in 2022 became a national story after the California teen vanished following a party near Truckee. Her body was later found submerged in a vehicle at a reservoir, and authorities ruled her death an accident. But online theories quickly exploded. According to WSMV Nashville, Upchurch reportedly published videos pushing claims and speculation surrounding the case, allegedly accusing Daniel and David, Kiely’s father and grandfather, of wrongdoing. He allegedly persisted with these claims despite law enforcement finding no evidence to support such allegations. After years of legal fighting, a Davidson County jury sided with the plaintiffs and handed down a stunning verdict totaling approximately $17.5 million. Attorney Grady Hurley, who represented the plaintiffs, did not mince words when discussing the outcome. “This verdict sends a message,” Hurley said, arguing that content creators cannot hide behind online platforms while making damaging allegations about private citizens. The attorney also emphasized the emotional toll the accusations allegedly took on both men, who were already dealing with grief and public scrutiny surrounding Rodni’s death. Upchurch’s legal team has already indicated they plan to challenge the verdict. In a statement following the ruling, Upchurch attorney Clint Kelly argued the case raises serious questions about free speech and online commentary, signaling an appeal is likely on the horizon. The case has quickly become one of the most talked-about examples of how true-crime culture — particularly on YouTube and social media — can veer into dangerous territory. For years, creators have built enormous audiences by dissecting unsolved mysteries and criminal investigations. But this ruling may serve as a warning that when speculation turns into false accusations against real people, the consequences can be enormous. As for Jenelle and David, they’re reportedly back together following a messy divorce and numerous allegations of abuse and infidelity. So they’re also fans of learning the hard way! Reading Time: 3 minutes We have troubling news to report from the world of reality TV today. 90 Day Fiance star Jenny Slatten has revealed that she’s been diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The reality star shared the devastating update alongside husband Sumit Singh ahead of their return to 90 Day: The Last Resort, which premieres next month. Jenny Slatten revealed today that she’s battling a terminal illness. (TLC/YouTube) According to Jenny and Sumit, the first warning signs appeared back in December 2024. Sumit said Jenny first choked “badly” while drinking water before later experiencing migraines and increasing difficulty swallowing pills. At first, the couple assumed it was some sort of infection, and briefly thought medication had improved her condition. But things eventually took a more frightening turn when Jenny’s speech noticeably slowed. “That’s when we knew something was wrong,” Jenny recalled in an interview with People. Fans may have been among the first people to suspect something serious was happening. During a December 2025 90 Day Fiance holiday event in New York, viewers noticed changes in Jenny’s speech and began voicing concern online. While Sumit initially believed exhaustion from travel was to blame, one commenter suggested ALS, prompting him to research the disease himself. “And then I find out that these symptoms she was having — this is what it looks like,” Sumit said. The realization carried an especially painful weight for Jenny because her father died from ALS more than a decade ago. After returning to India, where the couple currently lives, Jenny sought multiple medical opinions before doctors ultimately confirmed the diagnosis. “We cried and held each other,” Jenny said of the moment they learned the truth. She admitted the diagnosis has left both of them feeling “scared” about what lies ahead. There is at least one small piece of encouraging news. According to Sumit, doctors have told them the progression of Jenny’s ALS appears to be “slow.” The couple is now exploring treatment options, possible medications, and genetic testing, which may help determine whether Jenny qualifies for therapies designed to slow the disease’s progression. “Right now we’re just looking and searching,” Jenny explained, adding that by sharing her story publicly, she hopes “maybe somebody will come forward with something” that could help. In the wake of the devastating diagnosis, Jenny is asking that fans help her preserve her sense of normalcy. “I don’t want to be treated any different,” she said. “Let’s just live our life as we have been while we can.” The complexities and challenges of Jenny’s relationship with Sumit have been well-documented over the years. But as Jenny faces the biggest challenge of her life, Sumit says his longtime partner has his full love and support. “Honestly, I never felt this much love, or I can love anyone this much,” Sumit says. “I used to … live for myself. But from [the] last so many years, I feel like doing [things] for someone who you love gives you happiness, I think that’s what love is. And that’s why we do things for each other, and that’s what make each other happy.” “And we’re happy that we’re together,” Jenny added. We wish Jenny and Sumit all the best as they face this next challenge together. Jenny Slatten, Beloved ’90 Day Fiance’ Star, Reveals ALS Diagnosis was originally published on The Hollywood Gossip.
