Riot Games is constantly updating VALORANT to keep it competitive and exciting. Almost every new patch brings modifications to the game that keep it alive and engaging. Most of these updates typically include small to minor changes and bug fixes. However, with each Episode and Act refresh, the game receives significant changes to Agents and maps that shift the overall VALORANT meta. The change of the map rotation is one of these meta-changing updates. The changes are caused by introducing new maps or revamping old ones in the ongoing map pool. But that’s not all. When the time comes, the devs make significant adjustments to the replaced maps and reintroduce them into the competitive map rotation, replacing other maps. And so the cycle continues.
