Virtus.pro and Team Falcons crowned PEC & PAS Finals 2 Champions!

Following an exciting 3 days of action last weekend at the PUBG EMEA Championship: Fall and PUBG Americas Series 2, Virtus.pro and Team Falcons were crowned as the Finals 2 Champions!

Both teams finished the weekend with commanding leads over the rest of the pack. The weekend particularly represented a good return to form for Virtus.pro, who convincingly made up for their 13th place position in Finals 1 with a truly dominant performance in Finals 2 to sweep the lobby. In PAS, Team Falcons’ back-to-back 1st place in Finals 1 and Finals 2 is proof that the superstar squad has fully adapted to the 2026 competitive environment, and we’re excited to see if they can continue their momentum into PGS and PGC on the global stage later this year.

As always, regional PUBG Esports play has a large bearing on which teams can qualify to PGC, through those all-important PGC Points. A number of teams have already qualified directly to PGC through strong regional performances at PEC and PAS.

Of course, many of the teams listed above also have a strong possibility of also qualifying to PGC through a good performance at the upcoming PUBG Global Series Circuit 4. If, for example, Viruts.pro puts on a strong performance at the next PGS (and qualifies as a result), their original PGC qualification slot that they earned at PEC will then be redistributed to the next best team from their region’s PGC Points leaderboard. With Virtus.pro and Team Falcons already high in the PGS points table, this means we have a strong chance of seeing Acend Club and Copenhagen Wolves (and others) possibly qualify to PGC 2026.

As PGC 2026 takes place in Türkiye, there will also be a host region seed for a Turkish team. Stay tuned for more details!
