League of Legends Patch 25.22 Notes: New Changes, Release Date, and More

Patch 25.22 is going to be yet another massive patch.

With the Worlds patch out of the way, Riot can focus on doing more meaningful changes, and meaningful changes are what are arriving in the upcoming patch.

Starting off with the system changes, quite a number of runes are getting changed this patch. These include buffs to Cash Back Guardian, Hail of Blades, Legends: Bloodline, Nimbus Cloak, and Triple Tonic. We are also getting buffs for the Movement Speed and Tenacity stat shards. As for the nerfs, two of the popular runes, Biscuit Delivery and Phase Rush, are getting nerfed.

For champion changes, there aren’t many this patch. However, Aurelion Sol, Volibear, Yone, and a few other champions are getting buffed. Also, Akshan, LeBlanc, Jax, and Talon are getting nerfed.

Aside from these, there’s also a bunch of other stuff coming in this patch. So, we have quite a bit to cover, so let’s jump into it.

When Will Patch 25.21 Be Released?

League of Legends Patch 25.22 is expected to be released on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

• Europe Nordic & East: 3:00 CET
