The League of Legends World Championship is arriving in Patch 25.20, and in preparation for the tournament, Riot is making some sweeping changes. Starting off with one of the biggest changes in this patch, nerfs to Sylas Jungle and Qiyana. Both these champions were massively buffed in Patch 25.16, resulting in them dominating the meta for the last two patches. However, that all comes to an end as Riot is finally nerfing them in this patch. Additionally, meta stables such as Annie, Aurora, Azir, Galio, and Yunara are also getting nerfed. There are some buffs and adjustments coming ot the patch too. Champions like Garen, Amumu, Ashe, and Jayce are getting some buffs. Braiar and Illaoi are getting adjustments, Sunfire Cape, and Bami’s Cinder is getting buffed and a lot more. Finally, the skins, the much-anticipated T1 2024 Worlds skins, will be arriving in this patch. The skin line will include five skins for each of the T1 members and an additional Prestige skin for Faker for his MVP performance in the finals. When Will Patch 25.18 Be Released? Release Time and Server Maintenance: North America: 3:00 AM PT Europe West: 5:00 UK time Europe Nordic & East: 3:00 CET Read More: Mythic Shop Rotation 2025 Patch 25.18 Champion Changes Here are all the champion changes arriving in this patch. Champion Buffs Quite a number of champions are being buffed in this patch, including Amumu, Ashe, Garen, and more. Amumu Q – Bandage Toss Cooldown decreased from 16-12 seconds to 16-10 seconds. Mana cost decreased from 45-65 to 50 at all ranks. Ashe Base Stats Attack damage growth increased to 3.45 from 2.95. Cassiopeia Garen E – Decisive Strike Bonus movement speed increased to 40% from 35%. E – Judgment AD ratio per spin increased to 38 / 41 / 44 / 47 / 50% AD from 36 / 39 / 42 / 45 / 48% AD. Hwei Jayce Vel’Koz Champion Nerfs Most of the meta champions are getting nerfed. In addition, Sylas and Qiyana, who were buffed in the previous patch, are getting some of their buffs reverted. Annie Aurora Azir Galio Qiyana Sylas Taliyah Volibear Yunara Champion Adjustments Briar and Illaoi are getting some much-needed adjustments. Briar Q – Head Rush Damage type changed to physical from magic. Base damage reduced to 60 / 85 / 110 / 135 / 160 from 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180. R – Certain Death New Effect: Global audio warning now plays after the cast time of the missile’s cast instead of at its start. Removed: Explosion damage no longer scales off of 50% bonus AD. Missile range increased to 12000 units from 10000. Illaoi W – Harsh Lesson AD ratio reduced to 3.5% per 100 AD from 4%. E – Test of Spirit Vessel debuff duration increased to 4 seconds from 3. Removed: There is no longer a 5 / 4 / 3 (based on level) second lockout for the Vessel spawning a Tentacle nearby. The only condition for a new Tentacle to spawn is the range between them. Patch 25.18 System Changes Here are all the system changes arriving in this patch. System Buffs Bami’s Cinder and Sunfire Cape were underperforming quite a bit, thus they are getting some buffs. Additionally, Merecurial Scimitar is getting some slight buffs. Bami’s Cinder Sunfire Cape Merecurial Scimitar Attack damage increased to 50 from 40. Magic resistance reduced to 35 from 40. Quicksilver movement speed duration increased to 2 seconds from 1.5. Patch 25.18 Skins The much-anticipated T1 2024 Worlds skins will arrive in this patch. The skin line will include six brand new skins, including a Prestige skin for Faker in the form of Worlds 2024 T1 Prestige Sylas.
