League of Legends Patch 25.09 Notes: New Changes, Release Date, and More

The first patch of Season 2 has arrived, and here’s everything you need to know.

The League of Legends Patch 25.09 has arrived, and with it comes Season 2 of 2025.

Similar to Season 1, Season 2 is bringing quite a lot of change to the game. Firstly, we are getting a new season theme, Spirit Blossom. As per the season theme, the massively popular Spirit Blossom skins are returning too.

Riot has already announced seven brand new Spirit Blossom skins, and more are arriving later in Act 2. In addition, we will be getting a brand new champion called Yunara. She will be a Marksmen champion and is heavily tied to the spirit blossom theme. Moreover, we will be getting a new Spirit Blossom-themed map for the season. Finally, Riot will add a brand new game mode called Brawl to the game.

Now, let’s talk about the balance changes that are coming in this patch. Compared to previous patches, Patch 25.09 will have fewer balance changes, but the changes that are coming are quite substantial.

When Will Patch 25.09 Be Released?

League of Legends Patch 25.09 is expected to be released on April 30, 2025.
