League of Legends Patch 25.08 Notes: New Changes, Release Date, and More

Patch 25.08 has arrived, here’s everything you need to know.

Riot Phroxzon just announced the upcoming changes arriving in Patch 25.08 and here’s a brief overview.

Starting off with the buffs, quite a number of champions are getting buffed in this patch. Champions like Blitzcrank, Hwei, Brand, Ainged, and others are getting some slight buffs. On the other hand, Yone, Treistana, Lulu, and Gwen are getting some much-needed nerfs. In addition, Ahri, Annie, and Syndra are getting some massive adjustments in this patch.

Finally, let’s talk about the skins. Riot is releasing a brand new skin line called Fatebreaker. It will come with three new skins for champions, Malzahar, Taric, and Nasus. Moreover, the Sahn-Uzal Mordekaiser Exalted skin is also arriving in this patch after some changes.

League of Legends Patch 25.08 is expected to be released on April 16, 2025.

Patch 25.08 Champion Changes

Here are all the champion changes arriving in this patch.

Champion Buffs

Quite a number of champions are getting buffed.

Blitzcrank

Passive – Mana Barrier

• Mana ratio increased from 30% to 35%.

Q – Rocket Grab

• Damage increased was increased from 105-285 to 110-310.

Brand

Passive – Blaze

• Monster damage modifier increased from 215% to 240%.

Hwei

Passive – Signature of the Visionary

• Base damage was increased from 35-180 to 35-230.

R – Spiraling Despair

• Explosion base damage was increased from 200/300/400 to 200/325/450.

Mel

Base Stats

• Attack Speed ratio was increased from .4 to .625.
• Base Health was increased from 600 to 620.

Passive – Searing Brilliance

• Damage per stack was increased from 5-20 to 8-25.

Renekton

R – Dominus

• Damage was increased from 30-90 to 30-120.

Shen

Q – Twilight Assault

• Slow increased from 15-35% to 25-45%.

W – Spirit’s Refuge

• Cooldown was reduced from 18-12 to 16-10.

Singed

P – Noxious Slipstream

• Per-target cooldown was reduced from 10 to 8.

Sona

Q – Hymn of Valor

• Damage was increased from 50-170 to 50-190.

Xerath

Passive – Mana Surge

• Cooldown refund per kill was increased from 2.5 to 3.5.

Q – Arcanopulse

• Damage was increased from 70-230 to 75-235.

Zeri

R – Lightning Crash

• Chain lightning damage AD ratio increased from 25% total AD to 30% total AD.

Zoe

Q – Paddle Star

• Secondary target damage increased to 100% from 80%.

Champion Nerfs

Champions like Gwen, Yone, and Tristana are getting some nerfs.

Gwen

E – Thousand Cuts

• On-hit damage was decreased from 12-20 to 8-20.

Lulu

Base Stats

• Base Health was reduced from 595 to 565.

Tristana

R – Buster Shot

• Cooldown was reduced from 100 to 120 seconds.
• Damage was reduced from 275-375 to 225-325.

Yone

W – Spirit Cleave

Target max HP damage was reduced from 10-14% to 8-12%.

Yorick

E – Mourning Mist

• Removed: No longer deals 70 / 105 / 140 / 175 / 210 (+ 70% AP) base damage.
• New Effect: Now deals 10% (+ 3% per 100 AP) of the target’s maximum health damage. This is capped at 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 (+ 100% AP) against monsters and has a minimum threshold of 70 to 210 (+ 100% AP) against minions.

R – Eulogy of the Isles

• Removed: The Maiden can no longer mark non-champion units.

Yuumi

P – Feline Friendship

• Base heal was reduced from 25-110 to 20-110.

E – Zoomies

• Shield was reduced from 80 – 180 to 65-165.

Champion Adjustments

Ahri, Syndra, and Annie are getting some adjustments.

Ahri

Base Stats

• Armor growth was reduced from 4.7 to 4.2.

W – Fox-Fire

• Base damage was reduced from 45-145 to 40-120
• AP ratio was increased from 30% to 40%
• W cooldown was increased from 9-5 to 10-6.

E – Charm

• AP ratio was increased from 75% to 85%.

Annie

Base Stats

• Health growth reduced to 96 from 102.

Q – Disintegrate

• Base damage increased to 70 / 107.5 / 145 / 182.5 / 220 from 70 / 105 / 140 / 175 / 210.
• AP ratio increased to 80% AP from 75% AP.

W – Incinerate

• Base damage increased to 70 / 120 / 170 / 220 / 270 from 70 / 115 / 160 / 205 / 250.
• AP ratio increased to 90% AP from 85% AP.
• Cooldown reduced to 7 seconds from 8.

R – Summon: Tibbers

• New Effect: Now passively grants 10 / 11.25 / 12.5 / 13.75 / 15% magic penetration.
• Tibbers attack damage was reduced to 30 / 45 / 60 from 50 / 75 / 100.
• Tibbers attack damage AP ratio reduced to 10% AP from 15% AP.
• Tibbers aura damage per second reduced to 8 / 12 / 16 from 20 / 30 / 40.
• Tibbers aura AP ratio per second reduced to 4% AP from 12% AP.

Syndra

W – Force of Will

• Slow was reduced from 25-45% to 25%

E – Scatter the Weak

• Base damage was decreased from 75-235 to 60-20
• AP ration was increased from 45% to 60%

R – Unleashed Power

• Base damage per sphere was decreased from 100-180 to 0-170.
• AP ratio per sphere increased from 17% to 20%.

Patch 25.08 System Changes

Here’s a list of all the system changes.

System Buffs

Cryptbloom, Opportunity, and Overlord’s Bloodmail are getting slight buffs.

Cryptbloom

• Haste increased from 15 to 20.

Opportunity

• Lethality was increased from 15 to 18.
• Out of Combat lethality decrease from 11 / 7 to 11 / 5.

Overlord’s Bloodmail

• Bonus HP to AD ratio increased from 2% to 2.5%
• Max %AD based on missing health increased from 10% • 12%.

System Nerfs

Dead Man’s Plate is getting nerfed.

Dead Man’s Plate

• Slow Resist was reduced from 25% to 15%.

Patch 25.08 Skins

A brand new skin line called Fatebreaker is arriving in this patch. The line will have three new skins, and these skins are for the champions: Malzahar, Taric, and Nasus.

In addition, the Sahn-Uzal Mordekaiser skin will finally be released in this patch with quite a lot of changes to it.
