When Will The Ranked League of Legends 2025 Season 1 Start?

As League of Legends 2025 Season 1 is right around the corner, here’s when the ranked season will start.

Last year was one of the biggest years for League of Legends in terms of content We have so many new additions in the game. This year, Riot released Swarm, a completely new game mode that was never seen before in League of Legends. They also released two ASU in the game, Lee Sin and Teemo. Furthermore, with the recent release of Arcane season 2, Riot released many contents in the game. In terms of mini-games, they released an in-client mini-game called Jinx Fixes Everything. Then they also released a brand new ARAM map called Bridge of Progress.

With that said, season 2025 will be an even bigger season than last year. First of all, it will feature a new nexus-themed visual overhaul. Not only that, but they are also introducing a new epic monster called Atakhan.

Additionally, they are also removing the old Event Pass system for the new Battle Pass system. Moreover, this battle pass will also feature a brand new skin line which also might be a cannon to the Runeterra lore, Masque of the Black Rose. Although, it hasn’t been this long since the last one Riot will also release a brand new Exalted skin, Radiant Serpent Sett.

All things considered, a large percentage of League of Legends players do spend most of their time ranked. Due to this, Riot has recently revealed the season start date for 2025. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

League of Legends 2025: Season 1 Ranked Start Date

Riot Games recently posted on Twitter about all of the content that would be coming out in January, and their release dates. One of them was the start date for the upcoming ranked season.

The ranked 2025 season 1 will start on January 9, 2025. Moreover, your rank will be reset during then. So you will have to play games during your placement to get your new rank. Moreover, you have to play enough ranked games to earn the Victorious skin as well.
