Patch 14.23 is almost here, so let’s go over all the changes coming in the patch.

The League of Legends Season 14 is coming to a close, as are the year’s final few patches. Patch 14.23 will be the penultimate of only two patches remaining in the last two months of 2024.

Patch 14.23, like other end-of-season patches, is likely to include a large number of changes. However, not all of the changes in this patch have been revealed yet. However, Riot Phreak has provided a breakdown of the changes we might expect in his most recent video detailing the upcoming patch.

Aurora

Passive – Spirit Abjuration

Will no longer grant Movement Speed

Q – Twofold Hex

Increased Range
More Damage
Increased Cooldown
Automatic Rescast

W – Across the Veil

Will no longer reset on takedown
Decreased Cooldown
Passively grants Movement Speed

E – The Weirding

Increased Range

R – Between Worlds

No longer traps target but slows
Increased Duration

Rell

More Armor/Magic Resistance
More Attack Speed
E Passive will be moved to W Passive
E Damage Changed

Smolder

Riot is looking to get Smolder out of Pro jail. Thus they are nerfing his Stack Scaling, Level Scaling, and Waveclear but making his Gold Scaling much better.
