LoL Dark Star Sylas Legendary Skin: Splash Art, Price, & Release Date

Riot Games has revealed the newest legendary skin Sylas, Dark Star Sylas.

The Cosmic and Dark Star is one of the most popular skin lines in League of Legends. Since its inception, we have gotten many skins from this skin line year after year. If a champion has a Cosmic or a Dark Cosmic skin then that skin would probably be one of the top skins of that champion.

In the Cosmic skin line, the champions are depicted as cosmic beings that bend things to their will. On the other side, Dark Cosmic champions are corrupted cosmic creatures who want to destroy the universe.

Not too long ago, Riot released the Worlds 2024 trailer. In it, they even teased that Dark Star would be coming back this year. And now Riot Games has finally revealed all of them. This time with Dark Star 2024, we are getting 6 new skins. Moreover, Sylas would be the one receiving the Legendary skin.

Sylas was released in 2019. Even though he is not that old of a champion, he is a very popular pick in the game. Therefore, he has gotten 7 different skins in the game. However, none of them are of legendary rarity. And most of his skins don’t stand out very much when compared with each other. Dark Star Sylas is definitely the best skin Sylas has to offer.

Firstly, the sound design is amazing. These SFX are enough to make you go on a killing spree. The animations are also pretty good. However, the only issue with this skin is the VFX. The VFX is all over the place, and you can’t even see anything. It might become an issue as it disrupts the gameplay clarity but overall this skin is good.

Dark Star Sylas Release Date

The Dark Star skins will be released in League of Legends on patch 14.21, scheduled for Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
