League of Legends Patch 14.20 Notes: New Changes, Release Date, and More

Patch 14.20 is shaping up to be yet another massive patch.

The last couple of patches in League of Legends were massive, especially the previous one. Patch 14.19, referred to as the mid-season patch, is arguably the biggest patch of the season.

The patch brought to the game many sweeping changes such as the K’Sante and Trintana mini-reworks. Additionally, there were the item changes, which resulted in almost all Legendary items being nerfed one way or another. There was also the resurrection of Lethal Tempo and the addition of new New Notification and Pings. Overall, it was a massive patch.

However, with every massive patch, there comes the need for even more rebalancing and adjustments and Patch 14.20 is looking to fulfill the role.

Similar to previous patches, Patch 14.20 is going to be massive. So, we have a lot to cover so let’s get into it.

When Does LoL Patch 14.20 Release?

League of Legends Patch 14.20 is expected to be released on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

A ton of champions are getting buffed in this patch.

Base Stats

• Attack speed ratio: 0.61 >>> 0.625

Q – Piltover Peacemaker

• Secondary target damage: 50% >>> 60%

Corki

Q – Phosphorus Bomb

• Now has 150% bonus AD scaling

The Collector and Yun Tal are getting some much-needed changes.

• Bleed Damage: 70 >>> 60
• Cost: 3200 >>> 2950

Item Nerfs

AP Junglers are getting indirectly nerfed due to the Fated Ashes and Liandry’s Torment. Additionally, Luden’s Companion and Stormsurge are getting some much-needed nerfs.

Fated Ashes

• Monster DPS: 25 >>> 20

Liandry’s Torment

• Monster DPS cap: 50 >>> 40

Luden’s Companion

• Fire Damage: 60% +4% AP >>> 75 +5% AP
• Repeat Damage: 50% >>> 20%
• Max Single Target Damage: 210 + 14% AP >>> 150 + 10% AP

Statikk Shiv

• Attack Speed: 40% >>> 35%

Stormsurge

• Ability Power: 95 >>> 90
• Squall Damage: 150 (+15% AP) >>> 125 (+10% AP)

Thornmail

• Armor: 80 >>> 75
• Thorns Damage: 15 (+15% bonus armor) >>> 20 (+10% bonus armor)

System Adjustments

Grasp of the Undying is getting nerfed finally and Nimbus Cloak is getting some slight buffs.

Grasp of the Undying

• Heal adjusted: 3 (+1.2% Max HP) >>> 1.3% Max HP
• Max HP per stack: 7 melee/4 ranged >>> 5 melee/3 ranged

Nimbus Cloak

Movement Speed: 12-35% >>> 14-40%

Skins

We have quite a few skins coming in this patch. Four of the skins will be in celebration of League of Legends’ 15th anniversary. The final skin will be a Mythic Variant of Nightbringer Yasuo.
