All Duelists Buffs and Nerfs for VALORANT 8.11 Patch

4 Duelists will undergo some critical balance changes in the 8.11 update.

One of the key things that contribute to VALORANT’s thrilling experience is the constant balance changes. Apart from the fun aspect, the changes are also important to keep the competitive meta fresh.

All agents in VALORANT are developed in certain ways so they can provide value to their teams. However, according to the recent Dev Updates video, Duelists have been failing in that department, especially in the “higher-skill and pro play brackets.”

So, in the upcoming 8.11 patch, Riot Games’ main focus will be to make some important balance changes to some of the existing Duelists. The balance changes will affect 4 Duelists: Raze, ISO, Neon, and Reyna.

In the Dev Updates video, the devs have already hinted regarding what buffs and nerfs the agents may receive. You can learn about the upcoming Duelists buffs and nerfs from here:

Nerf

• Raze: Being a dominant character in the movement space, Raze will receive “some” nerfs to her Satchel mobility.

Buff

• ISO: ISO will receive a buff to his Shield Paradigm. He will also get other small tweaks.
• Neon: Neon slide ability will receive a buff. She will also receive other minor tweaks.

Balance Change

• Reyna: According to the developers, Reyna is a strong character in ranked but comes in short in the pro plays. So, changes will remain somewhat unique so that she is more viable in “team environments like Premier and Pro” but less powerful in rank matches.

The 8.11 update will arrive in early June. The patch will be a big one, as it will also bring Haven back into the map rotation. However, the community is mainly excited about the Duelists update, as it will shake up the meta quite a bit.
