Dr. Mundo, The Madman of Zaun, released way back in 2009, is one of League of Legends’ earlier champions. He is Fighter/Juggernaut champion who excels in teamfights. However, his most notable feature is his ability to heal damage. Dr. Mundo’s primary position is the top lane, although he can also be played in the jungle. Dr. Mundo has been in a bad spot for the last few years. So, Riot Games gave him a proper VGU (Visual and Gameplay Update) the previous year. However, despite the VGU, he was in a bad spot regarding play rate, so recently, Riot gave him the mini-rework treatment. Thanks to Dr. Mundo’s mini-rework, he has been performing quite well. His play rate and win rate spiked significantly post-rework. 10. Toxic Dr. Mundo Image Credit: Riot Games Release Date: December 17th, 2009 Price: 520 RP Chroma: None Toxic Dr. Mundo is Mundo’s first skin, and its age shows; even after Dr. Mundo’s rework, the skin feels quite underwhelming. Also, the skin looks less like Dr. Mundo and more like a hybrid of The Incredible Hulk and Bane from Batman. This skin is definitely Dr. Mundo’s worst skin. 9. Besides the new model, this skin has no new sound effects, visual effects, or recall animation. However, critiques aside, this skin does have a neat splash art parodying certain influencers. 8. New Model New Sound Effects New Visual Effects This is Dr. Mundo’s best 520 RP skin, with a new sound and visual effects. The skin probably has one of Dr. Mundo’s best splash arts, and the sadistic executioner vibe also fits him quite well. Overall, a decent skin choice if you want cheap skin. 7. This is one of the earlier Worlds skins in League of Legends, and its age shows compared to the newer skins. But this skin does have some sentimental value to the followers of the esports scene. It is a decent skin, but there are better Mundo skins for the same price. 6. El Macho Mundo is beautiful skin in terms of its effects and animations. For example, he swaps weapons after using his Q and his passive being a trophy is quite amazing. But El Macho Mundo’s all-red character model doesn’t suit Mundo very well. 5. In this skin, Dr. Mundo is covered in a cardboard box and wears a paper bag on his head. If this doesn’t sell you on the skin, his face drawing on the paper bag also changes during ult animation. Overall a fun and quirky skin. 4. Moreover, Rageborn Mundo’s ability animations also have fiery effects, further empathizing with Mundo’s rage. 3. The way he walks to the lane in a tiny red car, throws a briefcase with his Q, and is always on his phone is absolutely fantastic. His voice lines are really good too.
