Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story is the latest project from Riot Games’s third-party publishing label, Riot Forge. Developed by Indie Game Studio Lazy Bear Games, the game lets you explore a tiny but unknown part of Runeterra called Bandle City.

Unlike the previous Riot Forge titles, which focus on action, Bandle Tale will be more of a cozy-crafting RPG; think Stardew Valley meets League of Legends. Bandle Tale aims to give players a fresh look at the League of Legends universe, focusing on the fun aspects of a Yordle’s life, such as adventure, friendship, and knitting with magic. Players will also be able to gather materials, craft items, and even create portals to reach other parts of Bandle City; the possibilities are endless.

Explore Bandle City

In the game, you take control of a shy Yordle living on an isolated island named Yarnville. After your 101-year-long apprenticeship ends, you venture out to Bandle City and see what lies beyond.

Bandle City is a hidden part of Runeterra filled with magic and mischief. Not much is known about this mystical city, but with Bandle Tale, you can explore it to your heart’s desire. Apart from exploring, you can go on fishing trips, cook, host parties, and use your unique knitting magic.

You can also meet all your favorite Yordles from League of Legends. Teemo, Tristana, Yuumi, Corki, Rumble, Lulu, and even Veigar will be a part of your grand journey.

One day, you can go on a fishing trip with Teemo, take flying lessons from Corki, or learn Magic from the evil sorcerer Veigar; there’s so much to do.

Release Date, Platforms & Versions

Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story is set to come out on February 21, 2024. It will come on both console and PC. So, you can enjoy your Bandle City journey on Nintendo Switch, or if you are a PC gamer, you can pick the game up on GOG, Epic Games, or Steam.

There will be three versions of the game: Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition. The Standard Edition will contain the base game.
