League of Legends Clash Schedule (January 2024)

The League of Legends Clash schedule for 2024 has been revealed.

Since 2009, League of Legends has been one of the premier competitive games on the market. And the main way to get that competitive experience alone is by playing a ranked solo queue. Additionally, Riot has made tons of changes regarding the ranked queue to make the player experience even better. Not only that, but Riot is entirely changing the ranked system to judge a player’s skill better.

However, if you have a 5-stack team and you are looking for a proper competitive experience, then ranking is not a good option. The built-in ranked flex queue is such a joke that no one takes it seriously. So, as a great in-client alternative, there is Clash.

To explain briefly, Clash is a tournament system within League of Legends where a team can compete in a bracket against other teams, where the more a team wins, the more rewards they get.

In recent years, Clash has become the main game mode for many people. Additionally, many solo queue players are also going out of their way to find a team so that they can earn some rewards. And as season 14 is here, the Clash schedule has also been revealed as well.

What Is Clash?

As stated briefly before, Clash is a tournament-style game mode in League of Legends, where either 8-16 teams participate in a bracket. Additionally, these teams are premade. They will be placed randomly in a bracket and then make their way up to the bracket by winning against other teams.

As for rewards, players get rewarded just for participating. The rewards get better once the team starts winning more and more. The rewards also contain orbs, which players can get free skin from. So, there is a chance that players can get valuable skins from there.

So far, here are all the tournaments in this season. To make sure of your exact timing, check your League of Legends client.

Current Clash Cups

Noxus Cup

The first Clash tournament of this year will be the Noxus Cup. Here’s the date of the registration and the tournament.

• Registration: 22 January 2024, at 11 am Local Time (different local times for each server).
• Tournament Date: 27 and 28 January 2024 (4-7 pm Local Time, varies by server & region).

Future Clash Cups

That is all of the tournament that is happening right now. We will update once Riot reveals more upcoming tournaments.

League of Legends: Clash Rewards

Depending on your outcome and which ticket you spend, you can get different rewards. Here are all of the possible rewards.

Banners

Each time a team wins, they earn 200 victory points. With enough victory points, players can unlock unique banners that they can show off on their profile. Here’s all of them.

How To Play League of Legends Clash?

If you still haven’t unlocked Clash, here’s how to do it.

1. Have a level 30 League of Legends account with the Ranked queue unlocked (meaning you also need a minimum of 20 unique champions unlocked).
2. Complete your placement matches of the season or split.
3. Finally, verify your League of Legends account with SMS (this can be done in either the League of Legends client settings or the Clash tab).

If you have completed all of the aforementioned prerequisites, then you should be able to play Clash just fine.

Additionally, you need to buy a Clash ticket to participate in the tournament. They cost 975 BE or 195 RP. You can also buy a premium ticket for 975 RP, granting you even better rewards.

How To Create A Team

Once you have paid for your ticket, you can create a team right off the bat. From there, you can recruit players to compete. As a captain, you can also pick your team’s name, logo, and tag.

League of Legends: Clash 2024 Format

When you enter a Clash tournament, you will be put in a bracket against eight other teams of similar skill levels. Even if you lose, you can still play three games minimum. And depending on your wins, you will get rewarded.

Matchmaking Tiers

Depending on your team’s average solo queue rank, your team will be put into tiers from Tier IV to Tier I. Tier IV is the lowest one, and Tier I is the highest one. You will only be able to fight against players of a similar tier.

Game Rules

Clash is very similar to the Summoner’s Rift that you are familiar with. However, there are some massive differences.

No Remake or Pause

To play out the entire match, you cannot remake or pause a Clash match. But if your teammate disconnects a match and you are certain that that teammate isn’t returning, you can still forfeit.

Sudden Death Enabled

To make sure a match doesn’t go on for too long, there is a unique Sudden Death mechanic. With it, in 60 minutes, all of the tower’s defense will be lowered. At 65 minutes, the towers start taking damage. If there is no conclusion at that time, then at 70 minutes, one team will be given the victor status.
