LoL Primal Ambush Vi Skin: Splash Art, Price, & Release Date

Riot has revealed the upcoming Vi skin, Primal Ambush Vi, which will be released on patch 14.2.

During various real-life events, we get an event corresponding to that said real-life event. And the Lunar New Year is no exception.

Since 2011, Riot has released a Lunar New Year skin line in League of Legends every year. Last year, we got two different skin lines, Mythmaker and Lunar Gods. Similarly, this year, we are also getting two unique skin lines. One of them is Primal Ambush, and the other one is Heveanscale.

Primal Ambush will feature four unique skins. And one of them is Primal Ambush Vi.

Even though she was released in 2012, Vi is one of the most popular junglers in the game. She can sustain herself well regardless of the meta. In terms of her design, she does not feel outdated. The only updates she needs are icons and VO updates.

Regarding skins, she already has a Lunar New Year skin called Warring Kingdoms Vi. And that skin is really good, all things considered. Now, Vi is getting a brand new Lunar New Year skin called Primal Ambush Vi.

Similar to Warring Kingdoms, Primal Ambush is also excellent. The SFX and the animations are well-made, and the model is of high quality. But the VFX leaves a lot to be desired. But overall, it might be the best skin Vi has to offer.

Riot still hasn’t officially unveiled the splash art yet, so we will update it once they officially release it.

As it will be an epic skin, it will cost 1350RP.

Release Dates

All of the Primal Ambush skins will hit live servers on Patch 14.2, scheduled for Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
