"Exploring the diverse facets of laughter inspired by the theme, our team discussed various ways and meanings of smiling, embarking on a journey to dissect its complexities. We pondered the nuances of genuine laughter born from humor and joy, juxtaposed with the façade of artificial smiles often worn in social settings or to mask inner turmoil. Our exploration led us to the perspective of a middle-class worker facing the imminent threat of job loss. In this narrative, we unveiled different kinds of smiles: the obligatory smile in the presence of superiors, the strained smiles concealing stress, and the genuine moments of joy shared with loved ones, such as his daughter.

Our main goal is to discover the multifaceted nature of smiles and delve into broader societal themes. Through gameplay, we aim to provoke contemplation on labor challenges and the pervasive drinking culture prevalent in China."
