Administrators Echo Posted January 9, 2024 Administrators Posted January 9, 2024 Here, we’ll list our ten favorite EVA-8 skins that Apex Legends has released so far. Apex Legends set foot in the battle royale market with lots of new elements in the game. Even though the game launched without any prior announcement, it blew up within a short period of time. Apex Legends brought a lot of new features, like legends, the Respawn beacon, and fast-paced gameplay, to the battle royale genre. Respawn took a lot of Tintanfall’s characters, weapons, and ideas and put them into Apex Legends. They not only lured the old players from the Titanfall franchise but attracted new players from the battle royale genre as well. Like some of the other features, Apex Legends recycled many of the weapons from the Titanfall games. One of those weapons is the EVA-8 Auto. EVA-8 Auto, commonly known as EVA-8, is a fully automatic shotgun in Apex Legends. It is one of the 4 shotguns (Peacekeeper, Mastiff, EVA-8, and Mozambique) that are available in the game. It was a popular secondary weapon for many players who were not fond of the Peacekeeper or Mastiff. Even though it has now been nerfed, it is still a weapon of choice for many. Our 10 Favorite EVA-8 Skin Picks As previously said, there are a number of EVA-8 skins to pick from. However, not all skins are created equal. Some of the skins may not be suitable since they are too plain or too outrageous. So, after hours and hours of going through all of the EVA-8 skins, we’ve narrowed it down to the top ten favorites, which we know many of you would agree with. So, without further ado, let’s get started. 10. Scaled Steel Image Credit: EA TitleDescriptionRelease DateOn ReleaseAvailable viaDefault LegendaryAlternativesThe Firebreather Scaled Steel is a recolored version of a default Legendary EVA-8 skin named The Firebreather. It is a very exquisite-looking skin with a dragon face behind the iron sight. Unfortunately, it only has one major flaw. When you ADS with this skin, the dragon ears block a lot of your vision, which might create unwanted visibility issues during a fight. 9. Santa’s Little Slayer Image Credit: EA TitleDescriptionRelease DateDecember 12, 2019Available viaHolo-Day Bash 2019 CollectionAlternatives– Santa’s Little Slayer was released at the Holo Day Bash Event in 2019. The funny-looking skeleton fish with a clown nose and the magazine wrapped with a nice red ribbon create a joyful vibe for players. The skin seems like a gift from Santa Claus himself, and we like our gift! 8. Rolling Thunder Image Credit: EA TitleDescriptionRelease DateFebruary 8, 2022Available viaDefiance Battle PassAlternatives– Rolling Thunder looks like skin made with the scraps of a motorcycle, making it look more badass. A combination of spare parts, with an exhaust pipe for the barrel and a tire in the drum magazine. What’s not to like about a DIY motorcycle shotgun? 7. Kinetic Energy Image Credit: EA TitleDescriptionRelease DateJune 29, 2021Available viaGenesis Collection EventAlternatives– The Kinetic Energy EVA-8 skin does not look special at first. The skin looks more like a heavy power tool. However, the look is appropriate as the weapon has considerable stopping power. The construction tool vibe of the weapon is sensible as you get to break down your opponents, one drum at a time. The color scheme is also a big reason why we like the skin as well! 6. The Bone Collector Image Credit: EA\ TitleDescriptionRelease DateOn ReleaseAvailable viaDefault LegendaryAlternativesMaster Key The Bone Collector is a very sophisticated skin because of its subtle details throughout the body, making it look like a work of art. The combination of a golden body with designs as well as a handcrafted wooden stock and grip is just a work of art. 5. Blunder Buss Credit: EA TitleDescriptionRelease DateJuly 19, 2022Available viaGaiden Themed EventAlternatives– A precursor to the shotgun, the flintlock blunderbuss was often issued to cavalry or naval troops for use in close-quarter combat. As the definition suggests, the Blunder Buss is inspired by Octane’s pirate-themed Sea Leg skin. It’s a classic design on the modern weapon. It just looks antique! The skin was released in Gaiden Thematic Event in Season 13. 4. Repeat Offender Credit: EA TitleDescriptionRelease DateNovember 22, 2022Available viaBlack Friday Sale 2022Alternatives– The design of the Repeat Offended makes it a perfect blend of futuristic and minimalism. The red accents on the drum as well as on the barrel make it a a sight to behold. The Repeat Offender skin was released in the 2022 Black Friday sale. 3. Identity Theft Image Credit: EA TitleDescriptionRelease DateOctober 6, 2020Available viaAftermarket Collection EventAlternatives– Identity Theft is a personally handcrafted EVA-8 skin made by Rampart. Rampart is the master craftsman of weapons, mods, and skins that are functional and look dope. The signature color of the weapon is also a unique yellow color, something you rarely see working this well. The skin was released in the Aftermarket Collection Event in Season 6. 2. Soul Ripper TitleDescriptionRelease DateJanuary 10, 2023Available viaSpellbound Collection EventAlternatives– Magical augments have taken over this EVA-8 skin as the barrel and the magazine is imbued with magical remnants. Power up your shots with this breathtaking design of bone-like claws holding the weapon together. The violet accents in the weapon just pop out with the greyish-white body. The magical strength seems to be cracking open the hull as well. Overall, it’s a weapon with a story to tell. 1. Heart Of Brimstone TitleDescriptionRelease DateAugust 8, 2023Available viaResurrection Battle PassAlternativesHeart of the Divine The Heat of Brimstone is the epitome of awesome skins. The reactive skin evolves as you get kills in the game. The structure feels like it’s a hollow weapon slowly filling up with power. The gold and black color scheme only makes it look even more regal. Will Past Event-related EVA-8 Skins Ever Return? The event and recolor skins may eventually make it to the store, and skins like Identity Theft, Prime Time, and Santa’s Little Slayer may still be available.
