How Much Does an Heirloom Cost?

In general, Heirlooms cannot be bought with Apex Coins, Crafting Materials, or Legend Tokens. You can buy Heirlooms only with Heirloom Shards or by collecting all 24 items from the Collection Events that Respawn releases every season. However, you can only unlock specific Legend’s Heirlooms through the Collection Events.

To get any Heirloom of your liking, you need to get Heirloom Shards by opening packs. Each Heirloom in Apex Legends costs 150 Heirloom Shards. And you can get these Heirloom Shards by opening 500 Apex Packs, as Respawn promises. However, if you’re lucky enough, you may get Heirloom Shards by opening just a few Apex packs. But the chance of it is .2%.

How to Get a Free Heirloom?

Before Season 14, getting a guaranteed Heirloom without spending money was almost impossible. However, starting in Season 14, Respawn increased the level cap to 2000. So, players can basically reach 500 levels 4 times now.

This means more Apex Packs for everyone! From levels 1–500, players could get exactly 199 Apex Packs. As a result, there was no way for players to get free Heirloom just by playing. However, because of the Level Cap increase, Respawn now rewards an additional 345 Apex Packs to everyone reaching the maximum level.

How to Reach Level 2000
