In the Season 2 finale, Gi-hun attempts to rally his fellow competitors against the architects of the game. His plan seems to go well, as the rebels almost make it to the control center of the arena. But, the Front Man — who spends much of Season 2 hiding in plain sight as Player 001 — double crosses Gi-hun and crushes the uprising. In a devastating final twist of the knife, the Front Man kills Gi-hun’s best friend Jung-bae (Lee Seo-hwan). Lee Jung-jae, who portrays Gi-hun, isn’t so sure his character is aware of Player 001’s betrayal. “I don’t think he knows yet. I think he’s blaming himself for everything that happened,” the actor tells Tudum. To learn all about Squid Game Season 2 (including its shocking ending), click here. 2. Introducing HITMAN 3 (Gameplay Trailer) Platform: PlayStation 5 ,Xbox Series X/S ,PlayStation 4 ,Xbox One, Switch,Stadia,PC Developer:IO Interactive Publisher:IO Interactive Genre: Action Release Date: January 20, 2021 The World of Assassination is on the brink… The dramatic conclusion to the trilogy arrives on 20 January 2021 and HITMAN 3 brings new features, items, weapons and gameplay opportunities. Take a closer look with Introducing HITMAN 3, our latest trailer that showcases several locations, new and returning features and items plus 4K gameplay that we’ve captured directly from in-engine. Click through to watch the trailer. We recommend headphones and 4K quality for this one. Enjoy. As Agent 47 embarks on the most important contracts of his career, you’ll be in full control of his deadly abilities, razor-sharp instincts and entire arsenal of weapons and tools. You’ll need them all to master the art of assassination. HITMAN 3’s sandbox locations give you complete freedom to approach your objectives in any way you want. As well as the new multi-function camera, you’ll also be able to interact with the game world in new ways to access new opportunities and paths through each level. Want to organise a meeting with your target? Check. How about opening elevator doors to access a new route? You can do that too and so much more. As you explore each mission and complete challenges, you’ll rise through 20 Mastery tracks that will unlock new tools, weapons and even Starting Locations that will let you begin your next playthrough with a big advantage – possibly even in a disguise. All of the items and weapons that you unlock in a Mastery track are added to your permanent inventory, so you’ll be able to pick and choose from them no matter what mission you want to take on next. HITMAN 3 has been made with replayability front and centre. You simply cannot see and do everything that a mission has to offer in a single playthrough, and the Mastery tracks keep things fresh as you take new approaches, use new items and discover previously unexplored areas. Depending on how you choose to complete your objectives, you’ll be awarded with a Playstyle at the end of each misson. From the coveted Silent Assassin to a Hired Gun and everything in between, there’s a Hitman style for every player. Maybe you’re a Marksman? On next-gen consoles, HITMAN 3 will support 4K visuals, 60 fps and HDR with faster load times. We’re also supporting the PS5’s DualSense controller with some cool features and will launch with PS VR support, as we announced back in August. Details on how PS VR owners can play are listed in the DualSense blog too. If you’re not next-gen ready yet, we’ve also get a next-gen upgrade program that allows a free upgrade when you make the jump between generations. Read more about that on the relevant store pages for you. PC players can check out our recent blog post for some specific details on the support we’re bringing to that platform. We’re closing in on the launch of the game now, with just over a month to go until HITMAN 3 is in your hands. We’re already lining up more reveals and getting ready to share more information between now and then. Exciting times ahead. We’ll leave you to prepare.
  3. Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed by another three weeks. Its new release date is set for December 10. Following numerous previous delay, it had been set for launch on November 19, but according to a statement from studio execs Adam Badowski and Marcin Iwinski, shipping the game on PS4/Pro, Xbox One/X, and PC, alongside next-gen versions for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and Stadia, has been a challenge, especially under work from home conditions. "Since Cyberpunk 2077 evolved towards almost being a next-gen title somewhere along the way, we need to make sure everything works well and every version runs smoothly," the statement continues. "We're aware it might seem unrealistic when someone says that 21 days can make any difference in such a massive and complex game, but they really do." Statement From CD Projekt Red On Cyberpunk 2077 Delay The pair also clarified that recent news that the game had gone gold doesn't mean work on the game was complete, as the team is able to continue refining the experience. The time the studio had allotted to doing this post-certification work is what was miscalculated, thus resulting in the delay. The improvements and tweaks being made in the extra time will be ready and available when the game launches in December. You can read the full statement from Badowski and Iwinski below. "Today, we've decided to move the release date of Cyberpunk 2077 by 21 days. The new release date is December 10th. Most likely, there are many emotions and questions in your heads, so, first and foremost, please accept our humble apologies. The biggest challenge for us right now is shipping the game on current-gen, next-gen, and PC at the same time, which requires us to prepare and test 9 versions of it (Xbox One/X, compatibility on Xbox Series S|X, PS4/Pro, compatibility on PS5, PC, Stadia)...while working from home. Since Cyberpunk 2077 evolved towards almost being a next-gen title somewhere along the way, we need to make sure everything works well and every version runs smoothly. We're aware it might seem unrealistic when someone says that 21 days can make any difference in such a massive and complex game, but they really do. Some of you might also be wondering what these words mean in light of us saying we achieved gold master some time ago. Passing certification, or 'going gold,' means that the game is ready, can be completed, and has all content in it. But it doesn't mean we stop working on it and raising the quality bar. On the contrary, this is the time where many improvements are being made which will then be distributed via a Day 0 patch. This is the time period we undercalculated. We feel we have an amazing game on our hands and are willing to make every decision, even the hardest ones, if it ultimately leads to you getting a video game you'll fall in love with." sursa : gamespot.com
