Members Hartmann846 Posted March 7 Members Posted March 7 Some loot in ARC Raiders feels like it's playing hard to get, and the Broken Guidance System is right up there. You can't craft it, and no trader's going to hand you one. You have to find it in-raid, carry the chunky 3kg weight, and actually survive the run. I started keeping notes from my own routes and the ARC Raiders BluePrint page, mostly so I could stop second-guessing every industrial corner I sprint past. It's worth the stress, though—recycling it into Processors can unblock a lot of upgrades that otherwise feel miles away. Stella Montis: fast in, fast out If you want the most consistent shots, Stella Montis is still the go-to, especially the Assembly Workshop up in the northern/upper section. The place is a maze of big machines and stacked containers, so don't wander—pick a line and clear it. One easy landmark: a bright yellow container that stands out against the grey metal. Check the work surfaces nearby, the edges of equipment bases, and the little "dead space" spots people miss while they're panicking. The problem is everyone knows this. You'll hear gunfire, footsteps, and the telltale shuffle of someone else looting the same lane you're on, so grab and rotate out instead of taking a victory lap. Dam Battlegrounds: slower, steadier searches When Stella Montis is popping off, I switch to the Dam Battlegrounds and work the Hydroponic Dome Complex. It's usually calmer, but it's not free. ARC patrols drift through at the worst times, and they'll pin you down long enough for another player to roll up. Focus your search on red lockers first, then move to the breachable metal crates. Don't just open one and leave—run the whole cluster while you're already committed, because the spawn luck tends to feel "streaky." If you're trying to stay quiet, shut doors behind you and don't fire unless you have to. Loadout and extraction habits that actually help The biggest mistake is gearing like you're hunting bosses when you're really just shopping for parts. Go light, move quick, and treat the Guidance System like an instant extract ticket. I'll run a simple kit, enough meds to survive one bad trade, and a backpack that isn't a death sentence if I lose it. Once you find the item, don't start "just checking" one more room—people do that and pay for it. If you're short on gear or want to speed up progression between raids, U4GM can help you pick up game currency or items so you're not forced into underpowered runs while you're farming high-value recyclables.
