Game Overview

Use your highly mod-able ship to progress through classic shmup inspired horizontal stages collecting power-ups and obliterating enemies. Battle through the normal mode, or ramp up the difficulty and challenge yourself with boss battles in this retro shooter where customization is king!

The fourth game of the Game Buddy series, this game faithfully recreates the look, sounds, and feel of classic late 80's handheld games in a way that's like experiencing an alternate timeline of gaming history.

Gameplay

Dodge enemies and destroy them with 3 variable weapons and other power-ups. Gradually enhance your ship's firepower and change its shot types to match each situation for maximum combat efficiency! Combine different weapons to each of your add-on orbs to find unique new fun fighting styles that fit your play-style.


Speed
Grab this to speed up, or slowdown the movement of your ship. Each situation may benefit from fast or slow speeds, so strategic choice can be the key to victory!


Missiles
Shoot falling bombs at level 1, two diagonal missile streams at level 2, or homing missiles at level 3!


Laser
Precise high damage laser at level 1, helix blast at level 2, and powerful forward shock-wave at level 3!


Barrier
Cover your ship/add-ons in a protective shield that temporarily protects you from damage.


Vulcan Shot
Pick this to change the firing angle of your starting shot. Can even shoot straight up and down!
