Structure Palettes Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.3) – Block Variations For Vanilla Structures

Almost all of the vanilla structures in Minecraft have remained the same ever since they were added. Most structures after being added into the game remain untouched by the developers for some reason. If you visit a village in a newer version of the game and compare it with a village in an older version, you will notice that nothing has changed with regards to the shape and colors of the buildings. But not anymore! Structure Palettes Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.3) adds a config that allows you to use different block palettes for the vanilla structures. A block palette is a collection of blocks that will look good together. The block palette that is used in vanilla villages are one kind of log and the planks, stairs and slabs that are crafted from it. This mod allows you to change that using config files. You can have villages made of darker deepstone blocks, or nether themed blocks or pretty much whatever blocks you like. The mod will only allow you to replace the blocks without changing the shape of the structures. By default, the mod does nothing, you have to configure it to actually change the structures. The config file for the block palette used in the screenshots can be downloaded below. Download the latest version from below and unpack the zip into the structurepalettes config folder.
