It is possible that Scooter is experiencing something akin to imposter syndrome over this relationship. And, for this, who could blame him? There’s also an age gap. She is 28. He is 44. That isn’t “problematic,” but it’s noteworthy. And many find Scooter off-putting. In the public’s very narrow window of following Sydney’s romantic choices, she hasn’t ever gone for the hottest guy in the room. In video obtained by TMZ, another customer rolled up to the rapper’s table — seemingly without provocation — and started talking trash. But at one point, Ms. Spice and her assailant keep asking one another where they’re from. It’s at that point that the situation escalates further, and the two Mickey D’s enthusiasts come to blows. A friend of the attacker — whom TMZ has identified as a woman named Vayah — drags her away from the scene, but the melee is far from over. The scene then continued outside, where Ice Spice allegedly smashed someone’s phone in retaliation. “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly,” says Ice’s attorney, Bradford Cohen. “We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security.” We’re not sure how it’s McDonald’s fault — perhaps Mayor McCheese should have passed some sort of legislation protecting hungry rappers? — but we’re certain Cohen will make a compelling case if this goes to trial. News of his passing comes courtesy of a report from his former team. Baseball legend Garret Anderson is dead at 53. (YouTube) “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Angels Hall of Famer Garret Anderson,” the Angels wrote in an X post Friday. “Garret will forever hold a special place in the hearts of Angels fans for his professionalism, class, and loyalty throughout his career and beyond. She’s most famously Jim Edmonds’ ex, after Vicki Gunvalson accurately predicted their marriage’s 5-year shelf life. She was also, however briefly, part of former president Joe Biden’s family. The comeback was bittersweet, of course, as Savannah’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, remains missing, nearly 11 weeks after she first disappeared from her home in Tucson, Arizona. Now, two unexpected developments have put Nancy’s alleged abduction right back into the headlines. Savannah Guthrie has returned to Studio 1A two months after her mother’s disappearance. (NBC/YouTube) First, Nancy abruptly left the studio midway through Wednesday’s show. There are many reasons why she may have needed to excuse herself, but naturally, viewers were quick to jump to the conclusion that there had been some update regarding the investigation into her mother’s disappearance. Those suspicions were bolstered on Thursday by a post on X (formerly Twitter) from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. “Update: Nancy has been located,” the post read. (YouTube) Pima is the county where Nancy Guthrie disappeared, and its sheriff, Chris Nanos, has been the face of the investigation for several months now. So naturally, thousands jumped to the conclusion that Savannah’s 84-year-old mother had finally been located. However, the post was referring to a woman named Nancy Radakovich, who also went missing in Pima County. For obvious reasons, some users got the wrong idea, and quite a few were quick to Social media users got the wrong idea about a recent post from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. (X ) “Are you kidding? So unprofessional! You couldn’t list the last name?” one person wrote. “Omg whyyyyyy would you word it like that smh,” another added. “Ok now you’re all just being a–holes on purpose. Thank god she was found but COME ON. Can you be anymore tone deaf???” a third chimed in. “Cleary you deliberately didn’t use the last name. Why would you do that? Whatever the case, there have been no new updates from the Guthrie family or the police, and thus, there’s no reason to believe that there have been any breaks in Nancy’s case. She claims that this is about being “present” for her family. But folks on social media are floating another theory about the controversial singer. Not this year, anyway On Thursday, April 16, Trainor took to her Instagram Story to share her updated 2026 plans. “After a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the ‘Get in Girl’ tour,” she began. “Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour,” she explained. Trainor continued: “And welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now.” As we reported in January, the singer welcomed her third child via gestational carrier (surrogate). That might be enough to make anyone change their summer plans. But having a child isn’t exactly something that happens overnight. The pregnancy alone lasts for most of a year. And, in Trainor’s case, they welcomed Baby #3 via gestational carrier. That involves a whole other person, not to mention doctors and IVF treatments. Becoming a family of five didn’t happen by accident or suddenly, so why plan this and the tour? Some seriously, some snarkily, folks on social media are suggesting that Trainor is doing this to save face. The belief is that Trainor’s ticket sales did not meet expectations for two months away from the start of her tour. Touring is expensive and time-consuming. And appearing on a stage before a mostly vacant crowd is humiliating. (Just ask JD Vance.) Obviously, we do not have access to Trainor’s ticket sales — or to what expectations were before launching the tour. But it’s a solid theory, however unproven. She’s been shedding fans in recent years Trainor’s use of GLP-1 medication for luxury weight loss has made headlines and elicited controversy. She even went so far as to change the lyrics to “All About That Bass” to match her new, ultra-slender body. That went about as well as you’d expect. As we at THG have emphasized before, going into someone’s reply to shame or “express concern” about a celebrity is very unlikely to prompt any changes. Everyone deserves to have the body that they most desire. But people are right to have ethical concerns and reasonable to express long-term health worries about people buying into medicalized starvation as a weight-loss solution. Maybe Trainor isn’t able to fill seats anymore. She’s married to a Spy Kids star and has three beautiful kids. She’s arguably still winning. We just hope that she doesn’t come to regret some of her incendiary choices. Reading Time: 2 minutes Back in September of 2025, the body of a 14-year-old girl named Celeste Rivas was found in the trunk of an impounded car belonging to R&B singer D4vd. On Thursday, after months of investigation, D4vd was arrested in connection with Rivas’ death. Williams (per The New York Post). “We did the best we can to keep tabs on him, but once we developed probable cause to arrest him for murder, then we were on him pretty diligently,” Captain Williams continued. “Detectives from Los Angeles Police Department, Robbery-Homicide Division have arrested David Burke, a 21-year-old resident of Los Angeles, for the murder of Celeste Rivas. Burke is being held without bail. The case will be presented to the District Attorney’s office on Monday for filing consideration,” an LAPD release confirmed. D4vd’s attorneys Blair Berk, Marilyn Bednarski and Regina Peter allege that the singer was arrested unlawfully, without a grand jury indictment. “Let us be clear – the actual evidence in this case will show that David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez and he was not the cause of her death,” the legal team told TMZ, adding: “There has been no indictment returned by any grand jury in this case and no criminal complaint filed.” The lawyers added, “David has only been detained under suspicion. D4vd was on tour and preparing for a show in Minneapolis on the day that the body was discovered. He has yet to speak publicly on the matter. Specifically, the tabloid details, she was admitted in late March. If anyone knows the exact date, they aren’t sharing. Prior to this report, the biggest hint that something was awry came on March 31. Applegate and Jamie-Lynn Sigler are co-hosts on the MeSsy podcast. At the end of last month, Sigler announced that the show would be on hiatus — briefly — while both women are on book tours. Under the circumstances, it sounds like the truth may have been a little more serious than that. A representative for Applegate declined to confirm the hospitalization when speaking to Page Six, and kept things deeply vague. “I have no comment on whether she is in the hospital or what her medical treatments are,” the rep began. “She’s had a long history of complicated medical conditions,” the rep acknowledged, “that she has been refreshingly open about.” Applegate’s rep then added: “as evidenced in her memoir and on her podcast.” Her recent memoir, You With the Sad Eyes, documented both her time in the entertainment industry and her struggle with MS. Now, it appears she’s been somewhat vindicated. In photos obtained by TMZ, Taylor and Dakota are both sporting facial injuries that were allegedly caused by one another. But she may have been telling the truth when she claimed she was a victim as well as an aggressor. Whatever the case, there’s more good news for Paul, as we now know that she will not face any new criminal charges in connection with further claims made by Mortensen. According to People, the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office announced on April 14 that it will not pursue charges stemming from additional alleged incidents involving Paul and Mortensen. The office said some of the allegations fell outside the statute of limitations, while others either did not rise to the level of criminal offenses or lacked sufficient evidence and specificity to move forward. As the DA’s office explained in letters obtained by People, some incidents lacked ‘specificity as to when and what actually occurred or corroboration.” The office also noted that the case was reviewed by “multiple attorneys” due to Paul’s public profile. In her resignation letter, Russini maintained her innocence and insisted that she had not crossed the line with Vrabel — but some folks aren’t buying her version of events. And apparently, the ultimate high-powered hitman Pete Hegseth found the chapter and verse so inspirational that he recited them at a recent Pentagon prayer event. The only problem is, the words from Quentin Tarantino’s beloved film don’t appear anywhere in the Bible. The man himself called it a mistake, claiming that he’d believed that the AI slop was depicting him as a “doctor” of the “Red Cross.” But he has now posted a second image of a very similar nature. (One has to wonder if this means that he has decided to brand conservative evangelicals who condemned the previous image as “radical left lunatics,” as well.) The AI generated slop depicts the man himself in front of a microphone, with Jesus draping over him. Some have suggested that this image is even worse, as the pose seems very … intimate. On his personal app, Donald Trump doubled down on posting AI slop of himself and his religion’s most sacred figure. (Image Credit: Truth Social) Though the genAI slop is the focus of the post, we cannot discount the deeply unwell text of the original tweet. “I was never a very religious man,” the unidentified original poster wrote. The poster continued: “But doesn’t it seem with all these satanic, demonic, child sacrificing monster being exposed … that God might be playing his Trump card!” This message appears to be leaning into QAnon conspiracy theories, which pretend that famous actors and TV news anchors and musicians are part of a demonic cult that sacrifices children. Reality is full of twisted, evil individuals — but it is also banal. When the wealthy and powerful prey upon children, it doesn’t involve demons — just power, money, and the evil in the hearts of men like Jeffrey Epstein and his buddies. Trump’s post comes just days after his last one, a similarly brazen piece of genAI slop. That image depicted the man as Jesus, performing a miraculous act of healing upon a sick man. (Some suggested that the sick man resembled Trump’s longtime friend, Epstein. Others compared the man’s looks to comedian Jon Stewart.) Likening oneself to one’s own religion’s holiest figure is considered blasphemous in many faiths — including Christianity. Trump’s core supporters include many who dislike his behavior and policies, but who support him in the name of things like white nationalism and Christian nationalism. Folks believing that the rest is somehow worth it if their beliefs become law were really struggling with such a sacrilegious display. Speaking with CBS News on Monday, April 13, Trump claimed that he’d believed that the slop image depicted him, not as Christianity’s messiah figure, but as “a doctor.” Absurdly, he insisted: “I viewed that as a picture of me being a doctor in fixing — you had the Red Cross right there, you had, you know, medical people surrounding me.” There is speculation that Trump, given his obvious cognitive decline, misunderstood a plan to claim that the image had been “doctored,” after his press secretary used that word. Even conservative commentators have marveled at how Trump deleted that image, but left the racist depiction of the Obamas up. We probably all understand why Trump cares more about white evangelicals than he does about Black constituents, right? Only, he’s doubling down on the AI Jesus stuff. Is he testing the waters? In 2017, Harry gave an interview to The Telegraph that he nearly had a “complete breakdown” years after Diana’s death. “I can safely say that losing my mom at the age of 12, and therefore shutting down all of my emotions for the last 20 years, has had a quite serious effect on not only my personal life but my work as well,” he said at the time. In his mind, it seemed to be about the family branding — about “public promotion and endorsements above all else.” Brooklyn said that Victoria and David ambushed him before his wedding, trying to get him to sign away his own rights to his own name. And then came the accusations about Victoria’s outrageous behavior at the wedding itself. In his Instagram Story, Brooklyn Beckham described his mother hijacking his wedding — specifically, his first dance with his wife. This unforgivable act was, he says, just one of many. This was apparently a prank — and only grew more disgusting as it progressed. According to Brooklyn, Victoria “danced inappropriately on me.” Accounts of the dance describe Victoria allegedly “nuzzling” her eldest son’s neck. Understandably, he wrote that he has no “wish tor reconcile” right now. That is pretty understandable. No, Brooklyn Beckham does not wish to reconcile with his parents. It doesn’t sound like Victoria is ready to deny literally any of that. Or to confirm it. Or even to apologize. One has to wonder why she chose to speak at all instead of passing on the question. Certainly a fall from grace for a relatively high profile family that seemingly had had a lot of things going in their favor,” Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis said in a statement, according to The New York Post. “So tragic for the children to lose both parents, extra tragic for them to actually be in the home when it occurred. So yeah, there’s a lot going on,” Davis continued, adding: “This has been an ongoing domestic dispute surrounding what seems to be a complicated or messy divorce. “I don’t think it’s a secret that there’s been a divorce proceedings that have been ongoing. “From what I understand in this early stage, former Lieutenant Governor Fairfax was recently served some paperwork associated with an upcoming court proceeding that apparently led to this incident last night.” The former lieutenant governor had been on local authorities’ radar for several months. Back in January, Justin falsely accused Cerina of physically assaulting him inside their home. Police determined that he had made a false report after reviewing security camera footage. The claims surfaced in 2019, apparently helping to bring about the end of the Fairfaxes’ marriage. Fairfax maintained that the encounters were consensual, and he refused to resign from his post. She is a bad person who tends to identify and latch onto real problems but then suggests bogus and bigoted explanations or solutions. However, this is an example in which she latches onto a popular idea — that Erika is a bad, dishonest person — and runs with it. That helps her grow her audience, to whom she spouts unhinged nonsense. Interestingly, this particular tweet didn’t delve into the theory that Erika felt shy about appearing on stage with JD Vance. Remember, they had some weird vibes together after Charlie was out of the picture. It’s unclear whether the dozens who gathered below the stage, or any of the ghosts in empty seats, felt disappointed at Erika’s absence from the event. So, whether or not Erika felt scared off by any tangible threats, it’s unlikely that anyone was missing out. In a new Instagram post, Amy reports that she traveled to Arkansas to help the Caldwells move out after they were evicted by Joe: “Why did I decide to drive 14 hrs to help the Caldwells? We stand by her, both in support and prayer, and forever will,” the family continued, adding: “Our love for this child remains at the forefront of our family’s priorities and minds. We are proud of her for being strong enough to share her story while also retaining her own identity and joy. “The only way to freedom is to shine light in the darkness,” the statement continued. “And in this time, part of the light in our lives has come through the outpouring of love and prayer from people near and far. Thank you who have given in all the ways, through prayer, finances, time, energy and words of encouragement. We love you all.
