PUBG patch 10.2 has hit the testing realm recently and it looks like this is going to shake things up quite a bit, especially with the extremely fast new car on the road.

Coupe RB is set to come to PUBG with 10.2 and the car not only looks great but it appears to be one of the best performers around. While it's only a two-seater, the Coupe will be the second-fastest land vehicle, behind the bike, clocking the speeds of up to 150 kilometres per hour.

That pretty much describes what the car can or will be used for. As for availability, Coupe RB will be spawning on Erangel, Miramar and Sanhok, which should have enough road for the swifty to show off its qualities.

While certainly a highlight, it is not the only one that is marking 10.2. Reputation will also debut in the same patch and will consist of ranks from zero to five, meaning there are six levels in total.

The higher the rank, the more enjoyable the player is to have in a team so it's pretty straightforward when it comes to understanding the system. Positive feedback from teammates and generally playing the game will increase your reputation while reports and negative behaviour like killing teammates or leaving matches will decrease the rep.

Cheating reports do not affect reputation, but should they prove to be correct and the player indeed gets banned, their reputation will suffer greatly.

Here, players will take each other on in the dense, urban streets and rooftops but this haven is anything but safe. Players will be faced with a new threat during their matches, an enemy faction working against them. This faction, named Pillar, is heavily armed and is none too happy about you being on their turf. You’ll have to avoid the Pillar Scout Helicopter attempting to track and spot survivors from the sky. Those unlucky enough to be caught by its spotlight will need to move quickly to avoid the Pillar Tactical Truck as it closes in and attempts to quickly eliminate its target with bullets and fire. Finally, players will have to deal with Pillar Guards and Commanders. These soldiers are heavily armored, but those who manage to take them down can find powerful gear in the caches they guard.

Haven is a dense, 1×1 urban map and supports up to 32 players at a time in Duos or 1-Man Duos.

Carbon Steelworks
At the center of Haven, we find a massive mill- the Carbon Steelworks Complex. Explore it’s fiery depths to secure precious loot, or use your parkour skills to explore the rooftop! This location offers gunplay at all ranges, but be sure to check those dark corners!

A big question we’ve seen the last few months is what our plans are for PUBG on the next generation of consoles. Today, we’re happy to announce that PUBG will be playable on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5 from day one!

If you are a current-gen PUBG Console player, you’ll be able to continue playing the game on next-gen consoles at no extra cost with the same PUBG account you’ve been playing on all this time. All of your game account progress and cosmetics will carry over with no interruptions.

In addition to PUBG being playable from day one on next-gen, we will also be supporting cross-generation multiplayer alongside cross-platform play. This means that players on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 consoles will be able to squad up and play against each other on the battlefield.

Xbox Series X/S

The Xbox Series X will leverage the Xbox One X game build. The game will run at 60 FPS by selecting the Framerate Priority option*.

The Xbox Series S will leverage the Xbox One S game build, which runs at 30 FPS.  We are working to provide an option to raise the framerate cap on Xbox One S and Xbox Series S consoles in the future.

PlayStation 5

PlayStation 5 will leverage the PlayStation 4 Pro build. By selecting the Framerate Priority option*, the game will run up to 60 FPS.

*Framerate Priority option releases on live servers for Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro with the October 9.1 Update.

After rigorous testing, we’re pleased to say that the game performance is extremely smooth and stable, with faster loading and little to no frame drops thanks to the power of next-gen.

Chopper in to the mysterious highlands of Paramo, a new 3×3 map featuring our first dynamic map, active lava flows from the nearby volcano, and plenty of new ways to play! Grab your squad and take on the new map in TPP OR FPP!

With Season 9 also comes a brand new Ranked Season with the much-requested Solo Ranked Mode! Now, you can drop into the Ranked Battlegrounds and test your skills against solo opponents and you climb the ladder to glory.

We’re also starting this season with a new weapon balance pass to tone down the Beryl and SLR a bit and are implementing a new way for you make purchases in the game. G-Coin is PUBG’s new currency and is meant to give you and us more options around purchases. You’ll receive bonus G-Coin for buying bigger bundles and can now also receive it as a reward.

Speaking of rewards, Survivor Pass: Highlands has the gear you need to take on Paramo in style! This pass will be shorter than previous ones, but now features G-Coin in some rewards, letting you save up a bit towards your next pass or whatever else you want!
